Star comedian Ali is never worried or stepped back in making nasty and unhealthy comments against heroines. Not just on TV reAlity shows or comedy shows, even at cinema functions stages before the presence of celebrities and dignified guests, Ali continues with his smooth flow of cutting filthy jokes exploiting on heroines sexiness. We can still remind those remarks made by Ali on Hamsa Nandini or Rashi Khanna or Samanta or recently on Anushka during ‘Size Zero’ audio launch.

Well, reactions from respective victim celebrities may not be important here because social media slammed him left and right. Without learning the lessons from harsh comments posted on Facebook and Twitter against Ali, the popular comedian says that everyone is misinterpreting his comedy. ‘I do pass such remarks only to generate laughs but not to hurt anyone,’ Ali justifies his action.

Thank gods because Ali’s wife is also supporting him. However, Ali promises to tone down his comments in future and we hope, this would be the full stop for controversies surrounding him in recent times.

As we reported in the past, Mahesh Babu’s next movie is turning out to be one of the costliest movies in South India. The final budget for the movie has been locked.Director A R Murugadoss who has narrated a script to Mahesh four months ago has given the final budget to the producers which is said to be at Rs 110 Cr.

A staggering amount indeed for a Mahesh Babu movie as no film of his was made with such amount in the past. The costliest movie he did was 1 Nenokkadine which was made with Rs 60 Cr.

Murugadoss is confident of its recovery as he is making it in Telugu and Tamil and Hindi (dubbed version). Alia Bhatt is being considered as heroine opposite Mahesh Babu in the movie which will be produced by Mega Supergoodfilms and Tagore Madhu.

No title has been chosen as yet but the regular shooting schedules have already been planned. The movie is expected to begin from April 2nd week in Hyderabad.

Yester-generation’s glamorous diva Sreedevi made a strong come back to South Indian films with villainess character in recently released Tamil film ‘Puli.’ This socio fantasy project directed by Chimbu Devan and starred by Vijay was compared on par with SS Rajamouli magnum opus ‘Bahubali.’ Drowned away by tremendous hype, dubbing versions of ‘Puli’ were also sold in different states at unbelievable prices.

However, producers PT Selva Kumar and Simbu Thameens have burnt their hands with heavy losses incurred as ‘Puli’ opened to very weak reviews and disastrous mouth talk thus killing the movie in no time. If we remember, ‘Puli’ was also fixated in Income Tax Raids which postponed the release by at least five to eight shows late.

Latest buzz says that, Sreedevi approached Mumbai Producers Council filing a case against ‘Puli’ producers for not paying her remaining remuneration balance of nearly Rs. 50 Lakhs. After repeated attempts to meet the producers, Sreedevi could not. So, she finally took help of big heads in Mumbai to build the pressure and we also learnt that the case has been moved to Nadigar Sangham. All in all, Sreedevi appears to have lost 50 Lakhs for acting in ‘Puli’ and profited at least Rs.3.5 Crores because 4 Crores is the actual fee demanded by her.

Looks like Akkinenis camp is not leaving any stone unturned to ensure the biggest hit of the debut film of ‘Akhil’s ‘Akhil’ In this process, they strongly believe in sentiments and muhurthams of the release of ‘Akhil’.

As per the schedule, ‘Akhil’ was supposed to be released on the day of Diwali on November 11. But this is not a good day as per Hindus almonac. Meanwhile, the movie will be releasing across the globe on November 11 in record number of screens. Sayesha Saigal has paired up with Akhil in this VV Vinayak’s directorial venture.

Apparently it’s not a cake walk for Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna to dominate in Sankranthi race. As we know, his ‘Dictator’ is hitting the screens on January 14. The movie is to face the heat of none other than his Abbai Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’.

Here is one more unexpected shocker for Balakrishna from his colleague. King Nagarjuna’s ‘Soggade Chinni Naayanaa’ was supposed to his screens in the month of December. However, the makers have reportedly decided to release the movie on the day of Sankranthi. Obviously, Nagarjuna’s entry will trouble Balakrishna for sure.

‘Soggade Chinni Naayanaa’ has been directed by Kalyan Krishna, who also co-produced the film along with Annapurna Studios. The movie’s trailers will be shown in theaters where ‘Akhil’ gets screened. Ramyakrishna and Lavanya Tripathi have done the romantic interest of Nagarjuna in this film. Anup Rubens is the music scorer.

Comedian Ali who ran into trouble with his comments about Anushka’s thighs at Size Zero audio event says he is hurt with the barrage of posts against him on social media. With almost everyone denouncing his sexiest remarks, women and men slamming him on Facebook and Twitter, he now says that all are misinterpreting his comedy.

According to him, he did all for the sake of some laughs but not to hurt Anushka or any heroine.

Ali has further decided to take legal action against the persons who are spreading lies about him on social media and also who are posting nasty comments on him. Ali’s wife also defended him saying that he did all this for comedy.

Apart from commenting about Anushka’s thighs, he also compared Samantha to Vijayawada Benz Circle sometime back and his statements on TV shows are getting vulgar, say analysts. But Ali says all this for entertainment though he has crossed the decency limit.

Mumbai: Actress Deepika Padukone has urged all women to have faith in themselves and to never underestimate their capabilities.Talking about women empowerment during a chat on radio station 92.7 BIG FM, Deepika said: “I don’t think we need a festival to celebrate womanhood. I believe that we need not look forward to Women’s Day, Navratri or any other festival to celebrate what women are all about.

“Women are multi-taskers, extremely strong emotionally and know what they are capable of. My message for every woman is that, we all should have faith in ourselves and should never underestimate our capabilities.”

Mumbai: The makers of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ are keeping the buzz around the film alive by releasing few dialogue promos. This particular video snippet seems to revolve around the budding romance between Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Salman narrates a hilarious incident which took place during third standard and it leaves Sonam blushing.

The movie by Sooraj Barjatya is all set to release on November 12. Salman and Sonam have mentioned that this is the biggest movie of their career and that they are super excited to show it to their fans.

‘It’s a joke bounced to entertain people, but to not insult Anushka’, affirms Ali, clarifying about his comments made on Anushka at ‘Size Zero’ audio launch. Speaking on a TV show, the senior comedian has apologized to Anushka and other woman who are blasting him on social media, for his comments, which are being termed as ‘regressive’.

‘My comments are aimed only to describe a heroine or anyone’s beauty, but not to insult them. I’ve just described their glamour. I don’t think it’s wrong. As the dissent against those ‘glamorous’ comments is heaping up, I’ve decided not to talk that way in the future.

I’m sorry if any heroine or other women got hurt’, he said. However Ali expressed his dissatisfaction over the way media houses are writing him. ‘Many are quoting me with the comments which I’ve never said. I’m not saying I’ll take action against them, but how it’s ethical’ he asked.

But why is Ali passing those sexist comments only on heroines, no heroes? ‘If there is a biryani and a pappu-annam dish placed on a table, all non-veg lovers surely pick biryani only. Heroines are like biryani’, says Ali, quipping, ‘don’t treat this Biryani joke as another insult’.
