As his ‘Pataas’ got the first super hit of the year status, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s latest offing ‘Sher’ was thought to be recording decent numbers at the box office. The movie carried negative talk on the release day. Yet again, it was expected the movie would get respectable collections.

In spite of the positive vibes prior to the movie’s release, ‘Sher’ has reportedly ended up faring around Rs.3 crores in full run world wide. These numbers have naturally left big shocker to everyone especially Nandamuri fans.

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s exclusive fans, in fact, promoted the movie aggressively with a couple of flexes, banners and hoardings installed in many centers of AP and Telangana. Eventually, all of their attempts have gone futile. ‘Sher’ has been starred by Sonal Chowhand as a female lead. Mallikarjun has directed this action and comedy entertainer.

Anjali who is currently busy with Shankarabharanam and Chitrangada, has okayed an item song offer in Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming film, Sarainodu. The makers are impressed with her in a promotional song released by Shankarabharanam team and roped in her. On the other side, the shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace.

They are planning Summer 2016 release for the movie. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing Bunny in this movie which is being directed by Boyapati Srinu. Allu Arjun placed a new record with his recent film, S/O Satyamurthy of becoming the only Telugu hero with two 50 Crore share films back to back.

On the other side, Boyapati is excited with the success of his Legend. SS Thaman will be scoring the music and Geetha Arts will be producing this flick which is touted to be an action oriented Love Story.

On the other side, Dictator team is in hunt for a replacement. The movie is running on tight schedule to make it for Sankranthi. Balayya alone has 45 days shoot left for the movie including four and half songs.

Renowned comedy artist Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao breathed his last on the night at around 10:30 pm on Monday, November 2, 2015. He had been being treated at NIIMS Hospitals for the past six months due to ear and diabetic related problems.

Kondavalasa was initially a drama artist, who gave 1000 stage performances before coming into films. Kondavalasa, who hailed from Srikakulam, had rendered his serivces as an employee in Visakha Port Trust before stepping into the shoes of a film artist.

Kondavalasa made his debut as an actor with Vamsi’s ‘Avunu Vaalliddaroo Ishtapaddaru’. He acted more than 300 films. ‘Radha Gopalam’, ‘Pandem’, ‘Rajababu’, ‘Boss’, ‘Adhurs’, ‘Bendu Apparao RMP’, ‘Blade Babji’ etc. were some of the films enacted by Kondavalasa. His ‘Aithey OK’ dialogue was very popular in Telugu states. “ManaTelugu.in” is deeply saddened with the demise of Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao. We pray his soul rests in peace.

Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil is all set to strike on this Diwali. There was hope among the small producers that Akhil would be delayed further so that they could cash in on the Diwali weekend.With Akhil release confirmed on November 11, smalltime producers are running away for safety. This is one of the biggest releases of the year and is riding on high expectations.

Telugu audiences are eagerly waiting to see Akkineni Prince on screen. Buyers are making sure to book maximum theaters for this film to cash in on the craze.

SS Rajamouli has joined hands with the American Oncology Institute (AOI) in their #FightSmoking, an anti-smoking campaign and even appeared in a video that sends out a strong message of protecting ours and others lives by quitting smoking.

The film encourages smokers to be the hero of their own lives by valuing their health. Talking about his association with the campaign, Rajamouli said that he was initially reluctant to endorse the #FightSmoking message when the AOI doctors approached him since he felt it was people’s choice whether to smoke or not and that he didn’t want to give them any message.

However, Rajamouli changed his mind when the AOI doctors showed him the statistics of the number of people dying and getting affected due to smoking. “No one in this world is as important to us than ourselves. So we should keep our health in our control and should not let addictions like smoking and drinking control us,” said Rajamouli.
