Akkineni Akhil debut film ‘Akhil’ release date is almost locked for November 11 as Diwali gift for Telugu movie lovers. The high budgeted socio fantasy flick shot on unimaginable scale for a debutant hero has become prestigious project for entire Tollywood. In fact, producers Nithin and Sudhakar Reddy contemplated ‘Akhil’ release strategy for Dasara but could not meet the deadline due to exhaustive post production VFX works.

After few re-edits, they are soon to have revised ‘Akhil’ version on hand and November 11 is the final date, says the production source. In order to give complete space for ‘Akhil’ to rock, producer Kona Venkat postponed ‘Sankrabharanam’ release date from November 11 to 19 or 20th. At the same time, there will be only one big film in meantime in the form of ‘Bengal Tiger’ from Raviteja, Tamanna and Sampat Nandi set to hit the screens on November 5th.

What’s more interesting to find is, how far ‘Akhil’ has got a quality output on hand to please Nagarjuna? Everyone knows that ‘Akhil’ is releasing on an overshot budget which is always a risky move on debutant hero. Let us see, what are those special surprises thrown in for all of us by ‘Akhil?’

Highly regarded as a legendary director in Tollywood, K Vishwanath made a couple of classics, Swayamkrushi and Apadbhandavudu which got Nandi Awards for Megastar Chiranjeevi. Now, the soft-spoken director has made a few striking comments on Chiru just as the Megastar is gearing up for his most awaited comeback film.

In a recent media interaction, K Vishwanath said that Chiru is no longer a Megastar and that he lost his loyal fanbase by entering politics. Vishwanath further said that it would be difficult for Chiru to regain his solid fanbase by acting in mass films. The director then advised Chiru to consider the 150th film as his first film and reclaim the lost fanbase with his comeback film.

While these comments are indeed unexpected from K Vishwanath, the senior director concluded saying that these are only his personal views. Incidentally, Megastar’s 4-minute special appearance in his son Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee did wonders for the film and his cameo was one of the highlights in the film which thrilled the Mega fans.

Since both the stars are busy with other ventures, he has approached Varun once again with a fresh subject for which the young hero has given nod. If things go well, the new movie will start rolling sometime next year.

Varun Tej is presently working for Maa Amma Mahalakshmi (tentative title) in Puri Jagannath’s direction. The actor has also accepted to work with Tagore Madhu who introduced him with Mukunda. Varun Tej had condemned the reports of Veeru Potla directing him in Madhu’s production venture.

It is yet to be known whether Krish’s next with Varun Tej will be a social subject or a commercial one.

Nikhil’s Shankarabharanam which was earlier planned for Diwali release is now postponed. Kona Venkat, the screen play and story writer of the film told to a Newspaper today that they are postponing their film to 20th November as they want to give space to Akhil.

“we are now releasing our film on November 20 as we want to give space for Akhil”, Kona said. The makers are planning to release the audio and the theatrical trailer of the film on 30th of this month.

The teaser had shown Nikhil as a rich NRI guy who lands in Bihar for some reason with his friends.Sapthagiri comedy seem to be the major highlight and Anjali is seen as a lady don in the film. A new comer, Uday Nandanavanam is directing the film.

Nikhil is on a high with back to back hits after Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya. Kona Venkat has given story and screenplay. Kona had already revealed that the movie is a crime comedy with a Bihar backdrop and some incidents that he faced earlier this year have also acted as inspiration for few scenes.

There are too many obstacles coming on the way to ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh.’ This project appears to be the longest ever time taking in Pawan’s career from the time it is conceptualized and initiated. Here comes sensational news from media circles that Pawan is back in Hyderabad from Gujarat schedule. Reason is; when Pawan was away to Gujarat, few of the miscreants tried to barge into house.

When Pawan Kalyan is informed about this, he rushed back to Hyderabad to know what has actually happened. Talented people aways get due share of recognition and there is a strong necessity of aptly, dedicatedly skilled labor in film industry. To be much more specific, VFX department needs utmost care and proficiency. So, there are only few technicians who have shown their worth. For example, ‘Bahubali’ VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan needs no special introduction because Rajamouli was cleanly bowled by the top notch visual effects provided.

Unfortunately, Jakkanna is going to miss this key player from ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ because of Srinivas Mohan’s other commitments. Director Shankar is known to have blocked Srinivas Mohan dates long ago for ‘Robo 2’ and there is no way left for Rajamouli than to find an alternative.

Reports in film circles are officially confirming that RC Kamal Kannan who earlier worked with Rajamouli in shaping ‘Bahubali’ visuals is to take charge of VFX supervision for ‘Bahubali 2.’ To remind here, Kamal Kannan won National Award for his spectacular vision in designing the effects for ‘Magadheera.’

We all know how Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla fought during Baadshah time over the credits of the movie and parted ways for Aagadu. After the movie becoming disaster, Ram Charan mediated between them and brought them together for Bruce Lee. But looks like they are still at loggerheads with each other.

A Popular Newspaper today revealed that Kona Venkat is considering to file a defamation case worth 10 Crore on Srinu Vaitla. He is complaining that Srinu Vaitla did not use his script for Bruce Lee and resulted in a flop using his own script. He says Vaitla had given script credit on his name and Bruce Lee failure resulted in causing damage to his name.

Srinu Vaitla’s time seem to be running very bad with Bruce Lee being a disaster, his wife Roopa Vaitla filing a harassment case and now this defamation case by Kona Venkat. All this happened in a month’s time. Problems are all over for Vaitla both in his professional and personal fronts.
