As ‘Baahubali’ has been a huge hit in various languages, some of his old movies are being dubbed in other languages. It is heard that Prabhas’ ‘Rebel’ movie is being dubbed into Tamil as ‘Veerabali’. This title sounds odd to hear as if the audiences who watch the movie would sacrifice as the animals are sacrificed as part of religious offerings. However, in Tamil no such meaning gets arisen as per sources.

Meanwhile ‘Baahubali’ is reported to have recorded a never heard rating of TRPs which was thought to have gone upto 40 when it was premiered on MAA TV on Saturday night. Prabhas will be busier for ‘Baahubali 2’ shoot soon which is expected to be kick started in the month of December.

Ace director SS Rajamouli will be directing ‘Baahubali 2’ which has Rana, Anushka, Tamannah, Ramyakrishna and Satyaraj in other key roles. Touted to be a complete folklore entertainer, ‘Baahubali 2’s music will be composed by Keeravani. The movie is being produced by Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda on Arka Media Works. The film is slated for release in the month of December next year.

The makers of Shanakarabharanam made good buzz about their film with the release of their first look teaser, a couple of weeks ago. As the movie is lined up for Diwali release, they are upping the ante further by release the audio and the theatrical trailer of the film on 30th of this month.

Shankarabharanam had recently completed the shooting part. The movie is now in extensive post production phase. The teaser had shown Nikhil as a rich NRI guy who lands in Bihar for some reason with his friends.

Sapthagiri comedy seem to be the major highlight and Anjali is seen as a lady don in the film. A new comer, Uday Nandanavanam is directing the film. Nikhil is on a high with back to back hits after Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya.

Kona Venkat has given story and screenplay. Kona had already revealed that the movie is a crime comedy with a Bihar backdrop and some incidents that he faced earlier this year have also acted as inspiration for few scenes.

A month ago we have reported that the Bollywood remake of Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is on cards and Producer Rockline Venkatesh is in talks with star heroes there to do the film. However the idea is now shelved, according to the sources close to the top producer.

Rockline Venkatesh reportedly felt that the script may not work for Bollywood and so backed off from the project. However sources close to Srimanthudu producers say there are some other offers for the movie’s remake rights. But we are not sure if the project will materialize.

Srimanthudu had amassed 85.2 Crore share in its complete run making the film as the second biggest hit of all time in Telugu Cinema only after Baahubali. with Bollywood looking at Tollywood very often for subjects of remake, everyone expected this remake to materialize.

Here’s the first look poster of A Flying Jatt, the latest superhero film from Bollywood after Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish series. The film stars young hero Tiger Shroff playing the superhero. The film is being directed by hotshot choreographer turned director Remo D’souza of ABCD series fame and produced by Ekta Kapoor on her Balaji Motion Pictures banner.

A Flying Jatt is an ambitious film which is being made with a huge budget. Special effects and stunt choreographers who worked for some of the Batman and Superman films have been brought in for this film. Earlier titled as A Flying Sikh, this film will release in summer, 2016.

“Kanche” got unanimous positive response from all circles, but the film has its own share of flaws. While the film is set in World War II backdrop in 1940s, how come they have quoted Sri Sri’s quotes that were published in 1950?

Inside the film, Dasu, played by Srinivas Avasarala, always mentions some quotes written by Srinivasa Rao who will be understood as Sri Sri by anyone. The allegation is that, when Sri Sri released those prose and poetry in 1950 as “Maha Prastanam” book, how come a film set in 1940 backdrop will reprise them.

“Dasu is a friend of Kompella Janardhan Rao a very close friend of Sri Sri garu. Director Krish wouldn’t make such a mistake”, says Varun Tej. For that reason, Dasu character in the film never addresses him as ‘Sri Sri’ but only as Srinivasa Rao.

Probably no other Telugu director would have thought to such extent while making a Telugu movie, and we have to appreciate Krish in that context.

Raju Gari Gadi, which hit the theaters on last Friday is minting money at the box office. Directed by Omkar(Television fame), the comical horror film, raked in 2.5 Crore share in the first weekend of its release. The movie can be termed as hit already with the modest costs involved.

But now the satellite rights of the film were picked up by MAA TV for a whopping 1.5 Crore which is a very big amount for a small film. The makers are likely to get 100% profits for their investments. Everyone in the trade will be running in to profits with this film as there is positive word of mouth about the film.

Also the promotions by the makers are very aggressive. The movie is likely to end up as one of the biggest hits this year in terms of return on investment. Raju Gari Gadi is all set for its overseas release on 30th of this month through CINEMA PARADISO.

Colours Swathi’s latest horror comedy, Tripura will be releasing across the globe on November 6th. The Tamil dubbing version, Thirupura Sundari will be also releasing on the same day. The makers are planning to release the audio on 29th and promotions will follow with that.

The movie is said to be a sequel of Anjali’s successful horror-comedy, Geethanjali. Popular entertainment channel, Zee Telugu bagging the satellite rights of the film for a whopping 2.60 Crore giving it a big boost before the release.

Geethanjali fame Raaj Kiran is wielding megaphone for this film which is also a horror comedy. Pooja Ramachandran will be seen in one more important role.

Kona Venkat and Veligonda Srinivas provided the screenplay. The film is being produced under Crazy Media banner and J Ramanjaneyulu is presenting it. Kamran has composed the music for this film.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s decent performance in his debut movie ‘Mukunda’ gave the movie lovers an impression that he would be one more promising hero from mega family. And his second venture ‘Kanche’ has taken him to another level considering his performance levels. He had all the showers of praises from movie analysts, critics and his well wishers ever since the movie got released.

Apart from ‘Kanche’, Varun Tej worked simultaneously for maverick director Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Maa Amma Seethamahalakshmi’ (tentative). This movie is all set to get its shoot wrapped up soon and the makers are contemplating to launch the audio in the last of November or in the first week of December. The movie is being planned for release on December 18. An official announcement is awaited.

The dream run of Bruce Lee at the box office is complete with the completion of Dussehra holidays for schools and colleges. The movie ran in to deficits in Nizam region immediately after the working days began.

Usually Nizam is considered as strongest area for Mega films but the movie is strangely very weak there. The deficits are expected to continue till Thursday and whatever the shares the movie get coming weekend may be covering them.

The movie’s final figure in Nizam may be 9 Crore which is very low by the standards of the movie budget and Charan’s star value. Bruce Lee is likely to bring 15-18 Crore loss due to the high costs involved. Every one in the trade will be walking away with huge losses now.

Mega fans are stunned by the extent of this movie failure as it also have a comeback cameo by Chiranjeevi which they expected to work in the movie’s favour at the box office.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be completing the dubbing of Salman Khan’s Prema Leela today. Prema Leela is the Telugu version of Salman Khan’s next, Prem Ratna Dhan Payo and it will be having simultaneous release along with the Hindi version.

Salman Khan and Mega family are good friends and so he requested Charan to dub for his character in the Telugu version. Charan began dubbing for the film on 22nd of this month and will be finishing it today. The makers are planning to intensify the promotions in couple of days by release the trailer with Ram Charan’s voice.

Already they have released the trailer of the film with some dubbing artist voice. This move had add more craze to the movie in Telugu. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is scheduled for November 12th release as Diwali Special. We will have to see if Mega fans own this movie as their own with Charan dubbing for it.
