KCR Shocked with His Following in AP
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who attended the foundation laying ceremony of AP Capital Amaravati, apparently stunned to see fan following for him in the successor state. During his visit to Amaravati, KCR was received well by the people of AP. Whenever KCR’s name propped up, they welcomed him with thumping response much to the shock of KCR.
As per inside sources, KCR has shared the same to his fellow ministers in Warangal recently. He reportedly moved by public response which he didn’t even expect. It’s buzzed that KCR is now positive on AP and is having a slight change of mind on people of AP.
In addition to this, KCR’s counterpart and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu too received KCR well. In fact, Mr Naidu has insisted the officials to inscribe KCR’s name in the chief guest list of historic foundation stone. Both KCR and Rosaiah’s names were inscribed on foundation stone. All these said to have moved KCR and said to have changed his perception on Andhra, Rayalaseema people.
Meanwhile, we hear that, before going to Amaravati KCR had a series of meetings whether to make it to the event or not. After decided to attend, his team told him to be very conscious in uttering every word during his speech there. Hence KCR didn’t speak much. But he certainly seems to have stunned with the great public response.
Tollywood Surprised By Kanche
After making a mark for himself as a passionate filmmaker with heart-touching films like Gamyam, Vedam, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurm, Krish is back with yet another striking film in the form of Kanche. For this film, Krish went all the way to the 1940 era and weaved a period beautiful love story set against the backdrop that nobody in India ever made a film with, the World War II.
Apart from the human emotions which Krish successfully portrayed in Kanche, it the brilliance in the making of the whole film that is surprising everyone, including Megastar Chiranjeevi. Firstly, Kanche’s budget is just about 19 crore, admitted by Krish himself. Also, the film was shot in just about 55 days, which is nothing less than a miracle, considering the grand war sequences, explosions and other stunts involved.
This proves the meticulous planning and pre-production carried out by Krish and his main team members DOP Gnana Shekar and Art Director Sahi Suresh, who recreated the 1940s period setting and the war mood with equal panache. Not to forget, the stunningly realistic visual effects, altogether created an unbelievable Telugu film which stands tall among its counterparts across India.
Bruce Lee 10 days Collections
Mega Powerstar Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee had completed its 10 days at the box office. The movie had collected approximately 38 Crore Share Worldwide in this 10 days run so far. Even though the figures appear decent, the opening is considered below par due to the high costs involved.
Dussehra holidays advantage and postponement of Akhil helped the movie to a large extent. The real test for the movie will begin today as the schools and colleges reopened today.

Heroine’s Disrespect Giving Sweat To Celebs
One heroine has disrespected, and now the whole of cinema fraternity are feeling the heat. But the incident should really open eyes of many.
These days you might have noticed many big multiplex theatres are playing national anthem at the start of a movie. 80% of the crowds are standing and reciting the Anthem, but few don’t mind to relax in their seats and check their phones for messages and twitter updates. Disrespecting ‘Jana Gana Mana’ is a shame, while the insult will occur on oneself if someone shares about such people.
The other day when heroine Amisha Patel is busy texting on her phone when National Anthem is being played, another celeb from TV industry noticed it and tweeted it straight. That created huge ruckus on social circuits, with everyone demanding an apology from the aged siren.
Other celebs are sweating because if someone catches them not standing for National Anthem, then it could spin a trouble. Why such worries heroes and heroines? Do stand up with the Anthem is being played. End of the day, its our respect for our country!!!
Mani Ratnam Disappoints Telugus Again?
If industry grapevine is to be believed, Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming film featuring actor Nani has been cancelled. Though the exact reasons for shelving the project is not known yet, it’s buzzed that few obstacles during scripting said to have Mani took this decision.
While it’s not clear whether the project has been shelved or Mani put in the back burner, it’s said that the film might not go onto floors in near sight which is a great disappointment for Nani and Mani Ratnam’s fans.
Mani Ratnam is perfectionist. If anything doesn’t go as per plan, chances of he dropping the project are more. It’s not new for Mani as in the past, projects like Mahesh Babu-Nagarjuna and others have had same fate.
With shelving Nani’s project, Mani has yet again disappointed Telugus. Meanwhile, an official confirmation is awaited. Let’s hope Mani won’t disappoint.
Innocent Nithiin Paying The Price For Akhil
Young hero Nithiin turned producer with the prestigious launch pad film of Akhil Akkineni. Both Nithiin’s and Akkineni fans were highly elated and were constantly supporting Nithiin through the making of the film. But everything turned upside down just a week before the film’s scheduled release. On the eve of Bruce Lee’s release, Nithiin shocked the fans saying that Akhil has been delayed due to graphic works.
This naturally upset all the excited Akkineni fans, who resorted to direct verbal attack on Nithiin and even Nag and Nithiin’s father and senior producer Sudhakar Reddy. Several protest meets and even the burning of effigies of the producer and director VV Vinayak took place in an ugly rage of emotions. Angry fans did not leave Nithiin even though he got himself busy with his own film in Trivikram’s direction.
In this situation, one can’t feel anything but sorry for Nithin, since he became the scapegoat of the entire postponement issue. Is it because Nithiin is a fellow actor that he is being targeted? In fact, even though Nithiin is the producer for namesake, it was his father Sudhakar Reddy, who is the real producer.
Apparently, the real reason behind the delay is a CG scene in which Akhil fights off a Tiger. Nag, who strives for perfection, was unhappy with the graphics quality and requested the team to rework on the CG and the team obliged his request. But just because Nithiin announced the delay, he has been dragged into the issue and made to face the fan’s fury.
Shriya opens up about doing Baahubali-2
Few days ago we have seen Suriya confirming that he is not a part of Baahubali-2. Now Shriya Saran also had to confirm after there were rumours that she will be seen as Rana’s wife in the film’s second part.
The actress confirmed that all these rumours are baseless and the makers did not approach her till date. However she said that she would love to do the film if they give a chance. BTW who would not? The movie shooting is already 40% complete along with the first part shoot.
It is said that the movie is planned for Dussehra 2016 release which means Rajamouli will take an year for the completion of the rest of the shoot and the post production. However the start of the shoot is delayed by almost 2-3 months. We are not sure if this delay will further impact the release.
Akhil in dilemma over his film release!
Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie, Akhil missed the big Dussehra advantage as the movie was postponed due to some issue in the Graphics work. Now the makers are in a dilemma about deciding a new release date for the movie.
Diwali release will mean that the movie will have no big holiday advantage. And the other option is to postpone it by 2 months and release for Sankranthi. However Sankranthi release will mean that again their is a race for the theaters with the other movies releasing then.
Also there is a danger of audience losing their interest on the movie after so much of delay. The makers are likely to announce the new release date only after completing the graphics work by the end of this month.
Raju Gari Gadhi heading towards a blockbuster range!
TV host turned director, Ohmkar’s latest horror comedy, Raju Gari Gadhi is heading towards attaining blockbuster status. The movie had turned out to be a big hit after there is a overwhelming positive word of mouth brought good crowds to the film theaters.
Most of the distributors have already seen break-even and some are also in profits zone. The movie is likely to bring big profits to everyone involved in the trade of the film. It is likely to end up one of the biggest hits in small films this year in terms of return on investment.
Aggressive promotions have worked out in the movie favour. The movie has collected about 2.5 Cr Apx share this Weekend. This can be concluded as a Hit already considering the Very moderate costs involved.
Suriya’s 24 nears completion
Suriya and Samantha’s next, 24 in the direction of Manam fame Vikram Kumar is nearing completion. The last schedule of the movie began Sunday. This schedule will be completed by the first week of November.
Some crucial scenes of the film will be canned in this schedule. The movie had shot the major portion of it in a huge set in Mumbai and several exotic locales in Poland. The film is being readied for Sankranthi release.
The Telugu dubbing version will also have a simultaneous release. The World famous AR Rahman will be providing the music. The makers have roped in Telugu editor Prawin Pudi to edit the film.
Senior director disappoints Nani big time!
It is often a privilege to work with Maniratnam, all actors feel. Nani got the chance couple of weeks back after Maniratnam chose him over Karthi for his upcoming project. However the happiness did not last long.
The ace director now decided to shelve the movie even before it was launched. Kollywood media reports say that there are some issues in the script which prompted Mani to take the decision and obviously it will disappoint Nani big time.
Nani is currently shooting for his next with Hanu Raghavapudi who made his debut with Andhala Rakshasi. On the other side, Maniratnam is working on another script for Tamil Star, Dhanush.
Pawan Kalyan’s Wishes Are Missing
Don’t worry, as he has blessed Ram Charan, wishes his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi for “Bruce Lee”, surely he may hold a special press meet for “Kanche” in order to bless his another brother’s son Varun Tej. People are not talking about these wishes anyway.
Of course, Pawan stated that he’s happy for Andhra Pradesh’s new capital Amaravathi, and expressed his inability to attend the Foundation Ceremony due to his fixed film schedules which includes combination dates of many other actors. We understood the complexity of film making.
Even after 4 days after the ceremony, there is neither a tweet nor any statement issued by Pawan about the forthcoming capital city. Director Krish Excited About ‘Mega’ Hug
Talented Krish is being heaped in showers of praises since “Kanche” has hit cinemas. Even a mighty star like Chiranjeevi can’t stop but appreciating his latest film. On this occasion, Krish shared why is he excited the other day.
“My dad gave me a tight hug when I shared the news that Chiranjeevi garu invited me home to appreciate my film Kanche. He hasn’t felt so much happy when I made Vedam, but today when I got a call from Megastar, he’s upbeat”, says Krish, indicating how a ‘praise’ will give relief to any talented technician and their family. “I can’t forget the mega hug my father gave and also the praises showered by Chiranjeevi garu. Will save them as a sweet memory forever” he adds.
Earlier, Krish mentioned that he’s so worried about the caste system that is spoiling even the present generations. Probably he should make more films like Kanche to enlighten the audiences.
Nagarjuna Is Not Akhil’s Favorite Actor
Handsome Akkineni young hero Akhil missed the Dussehra bus in a dramatic twist just a week before the film’s release. The film’s unit is currently working on the computer graphics, which was claimed to be the real reason behind the delay.
On the other hand, Akhil and his heroine Sayyeshaa Saigal have been busy promoting their film and in one of the interviews, Akhil was asked about his favorite heroes in Tollywood. Akhil surprised by spilling out the names of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Superstar Mahesh Babu.
Akhil’s admiration for Mahesh Babu is nothing new as he already showed his fanboy side towards Mahesh during Akhil’s audio launch and in the interviews that followed. Even Mahesh appreciated Akhil’s stunning screen presence.
On the other hand, Chiru has been friends with Nagarjuna for almost two decades now and the seniors’ bonhomie must have moved Akhil to name Chiru as his favorite actor. Meanwhile, fans of birth Chiru and Mahesh have been admiring Akhil’s ego less attitude and are wishing him the best for his debut.
