Petrol Bomb attack on Baahubali Theater
A theater screening Baahubali in Madurai, Tamil Nadu was vandalized by locals there. Few activists of Tamil Puri organization threw Petrol Bomb on the theater. They allege that the movie had insulting dialogues on tribal people.
They are referring to Kalakeya tribe in the movie and they have demanded immediate removal of the dialogues from the movie. Previously Telangana Mala caste JAC also made similar allegations on these scenes and threatened to stall the movie release.
On the other side, there are reports couple of days ago that Salman Khan fans have vandalized few theaters of the movie in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana alleging that the movie is depriving theaters for their favourite hero’s latest release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Sridevi regrets missing Baahubali
The role of Sivagami in Baahubali was supposed to be essayed by Sridevi. However the actress who was choosy about her roles in the second innings demanded 6 Crore for the role. The makers have opted Ramya Krishnan instead of her.
Ramya Krishnan performed splendidly in the character and won accolades from every one. On the other side, Sridevi accepted Tamil film, Puli and got a hefty paycheck for the role. But she completely regrets missing the chance which could have made so much impact.
Further, Puli had got very bad feedback from the trailers and stills released.Many even feel Sridevi is a misfit. If Puli fails at the box office, Sridevi will regret even more. The Athiloka Sundari started her second innings with critically acclaimed English Vinglish.
Baahubali 12 days Collections
SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is going very well at the box office. The movie is going strong despite being working days. The movie had already amassed more than 83 Crore share only in the Telugu States and is sailing forward towards 100 Crores share only in AP and Nizam.

Charan’s intro to be the highlight of RC9
Positive buzz is seeping in from Filmnagar sources over the result of Ram Charan’s next in the direction of Srinu Vaitla. Sources say that this will be a comeback for Vaitla. They also add that the introduction fight of the film canned on Charan will be one of the highlight of the film.
The makers have announced October 15th as the release day on the eve of Dussehra. To complete the movie in time, they will have to race against time. Dussehra release is important of the movie as it will have holidays advantage.
The first look poster and the title announcement is likely to take place on August 22nd as Chiranjeevi Birthday Special. DVV Danayya is lolling out the money bags for this project under his Universal Movies Banner. Thaman is the music composer in the film in which Rakul Preet Singh is playing the female lead.
Subrahmanyam for Sale a rip off Chiru’s film!
Mega scion Sai Dharam Tej’s latest offering, Subrahmanyam for Sale is gearing up for September 24th release. The audio launch event is planned for Chiranjeevi’s Birthday (August 22nd). Incidentally September 24th is the release date of Chiranjeevi’s Tagore.
Tollywood sources say the movie is actually a rip off from Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster film, Bavagaru Bavunnara. The story will also have some shades of Mogudu Kavali. The actor will be seen as a rented husband in the film. This is the third venture in Sai Dharam Tej’s career.
This film is important for both Sai Dharam Tej and Harish Shankar after having delivered duds (Rey for Sai Dharam Tej and Ramayya Vasthavayya for Harish Shankar) in their last outings. This is one of the first scripts penned by Harish Shankar early in his career.
Venkatesh’s next finally going on floors!
Victory Venkatesh did not face camera since January, the release of Gopala Gopala. The actor did not sign any movie since then. Finally he is now beginning a new project. This project will be directed by Onamalu and Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju fame Kranthi Madhav.
The film will begin formally from August 14th and the regular shooting of the movie will follow. The shooting will go non-stop till completion and the movie will be released in the first half of 2016.
The project will be produced by Parchuri Prasad under U Square movies banner. Rumours are ripe that this movie is a remake of a Hollywood film. More details of this project will be officially announced very soon.
