During their high profile marriage in 2012, Ram Charan and Upasana had one request to all the guests, not to buy expensive gifts and instead, donate to an NGO called Save A Child’s Heart. Now, the star couple has once again shown its kindheartedness as both Charan and Upasana donated 3.5 lakhs to a film industry employee.

Apparently, the lightman named Ramana was severely injured in a mishap that took place in July this year while working on a film shoot. Ramana was admitted to Apollo Hospital, run by Upasana. Upon knowing about Ramana’s condition, the couple handed over the cheque to his family members.

The president of Telugu film and TV lightman’s association Srinu confirmed the donation and expressed gratitude on behalf of the association. Apart from Charan and Upasana, Sachiin Joshi also chipped in with a donation of 6 lakhs. Looks like Charan is following his father Chiranjeevi’s footsteps when it comes to lending a helping hand to those in need.

The promotional campaign for India’s first historic 3D film Rudramadevi has been creating a lot of positive buzz. After a whirlwind promotional trip to Chennai yesterday, Rudramadevi team is back in Hyderabad and met with Tollywood media. The meeting soon turned out to be a mutual appreciation club for Anushka and Allu Arjun.

Lauding Allu Arjun’s generous gesture of acting in Rudramadevi, Anushka said that Bunny is one actor who always wishes to see Tollywood grow big. Anushka then said that Bunny did films like Vedam and Rudramadevi only for that reason of being party of pathbreaking films in Tollywood.

Even the film’s director, Gunasekhar drenched Bunny in a rain of praises and said that Bunny is a star hero and he has no need to act in special roles. But, Bunny did the Gonagannareddy part for his love for cinema and Telugu history.

Bunny, in turn, praised Anushka got her courage to accept female oriented films. Bunny also expressed his confidence saying that Gunasekhar’s dream project will surely enthrall the audiences.

While most of the attention of Akkineni fans might be on the launch of Akhil, yet his elder brother Naga Chaitanya too doing his best in hogging limelight. Chaitanya’s forthcoming film Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo is said to be Chaitu’s answer for his critics. The film is apparently shaping up well and Chaitu is leaving no stone unturned to prove his mettle once again.

Already the recently released teaser of the film raised several eye balls indicating that Chaitanya is all set to make a grand comeback with the film. Since it’s written and directed by acclaimed Gautham Menon and the duo’s previous film Ye Maya Chesave was considered classic in romance, expectations on their upcoming film are high.

Inside buzz is that Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo will be on the lines of both Ye Maya Chesave (YMC) and Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu and it’s going to be Naga Chaitanya’s answer to his critics.Like previous Gautham’s films, AR Rahman has rendered the tunes for the film which are touted to take on romantic ride. While the makers are busy wrapping up the film, and planning to launch it’s audio soon, we hear that the overseas rights of the film have been bagged for a fancy price.

Since Gautham has good hold on overseas market, the rights have been bought by a noted distributor. If all goes well, the youthful romance will hit the screens in November. Let’s see whether Chaitu and Gautham going to recreate the magic of YMC or not.

The biggest star debut Tollywood ever witnessed so far, Akhil, is completing its shooting and gearing up for a huge release on 22nd October as a Dasara bonanza. The audio album and theatrical trailer which were released on ANR ‘s birth anniversary on September 20th garnered decent response from fans.

However, some felt that the trailer could have been much better with even more grandeur. Buzz is that, noticing the feedback, director VV Vinayak is taking personal care and is currently busy readying a brand new trailer with all the required ingredients. Even more, the new trailer will be attached to Rudramadevi, which is releasing on 9th October.

Also, while Anup Rubens composed the background score for the first trailer, this time, seasoned campaigner Manisharma, who is highly acclaimed for his engaging background score, is composing the background score for the new trailer. This move will surely raise the expectation levels several notches higher.

Among the young talented actresses we have, Tamil hottie Regina Cassandra is yet to get a mega break. Despite her stunning performances in many movies, she didn’t get invitation from big star heroes yet. But soon things are game for a change.

Especially the way Regina emoted cutely in few scenes of “Subramanyam For Sale” have impressed everyone again. And that remix song, Guvva Gorinkatho, sounds like her big ticket to big films.

Latest we hear is that Regina’s hotness in that song and the way she tried to outshine Saidharam has impressed mighty Chiranjeevi. They are contemplating to cast her as one of the leads in Kathhi remake if everything goes well.

“Movie is industry is not about bad persons all the time. Maybe there are those who appear in front of us during our hits and then disappear in flop. But there are good people who care for you no matter you score hit or flop“, says Anushka, who is eagerly awaiting for the release of “Rudramadevi” October 9th.

“Director Rajamouli, his wife Rama, Supriya, Prabhas, Producer Syam Prasad and Pramod are my good friends from Telugu film industry. Whenever I need them, they attend in a jiffy. They don’t behave differently even if I got a flop or a hit“, she avers.

Talking about friendships, Anushka stresses that it matters how we behave in each situation rather than how others behave towards us. “I believe that career and friendship are two different things. Only people with similar mindset could become good friends. I’m luck that I’ve found one such bunch here in Telugu industry“, Anushka said.

On the sidelines of promoting her upcoming release “Rudramadevi” on October 9th, Anushka shared her thoughts this way.
