Recent happenings at box office have upset on talented technician mostly. He’s none other than super talented Devi Sri Prasad, who is a noted name among composers across India though his work is limited to Telugu and Tamil tinsel towns all the time.

For three back to back failures in a week span, DSP is said to be little hurt. Sharing his thoughts with some media friends off the record, he revealed how much upset he’s with the failure of “Puli” movie. The film is criticised for its poor content and amateurish graphics, while the story is nothing but a regular revenge drama.

Even DSP’s songs and background scored will not save it, while they are also not upto the mark. At the same time, yesterday’s release “Shivam” has three good songs scored by Devi, but the film is likely to end up as a disaster.

Coming to the third one, DSP has remixed ‘Aakaleste Annam Pedata’ song for Bollywood recently, which is reprised as “Daddy Mummy..” in the movie “Bhaag Jhonny”. This film released last week and sank without a trace. With three disasters to his credit in no time, yes, he’s little hurt.

Any commercial hero, including Mahesh Babu, always says that numbers don’t bother them much and ranks and collections are not in their vicinity at all. But on a frank note, any star will be making films only for spinning money for their producers and numbers will definitely matters. Hits and records too matter, because it’s the ‘records’ of previous films that matter for business of next film of any hero.

“Baahubali” has changed the game forever in Telugu Film Industry as it stood unmovable at the top place for any normal cinema. Only someone has to attempt something on that scale to crash and crush the records of this Rajamouli’s magnum opus.

So, if someone is eyeing on second place then Mahesh Babu is there with “Srimanthudu”. Trade pundits revealed that final figures of this film are around 83.3 crores ‘share’ from worldwide box office.

Any film that gets a ‘share’ more than “Srimanthudu” will be the new record breaker and if anyone crosses 270+ crores (Baahubali’s international version is still releasing), then they will become record maker. To Sum up, to break or maker records, 83 crores is the minimum target.

Unfazed by the flop show of “Kick 2” at box office, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has now got ready to hit cinemas with his next film. And for that flick, he’s repeating all the possible sentiments to make it a stupendous hit at box office.

Before leaving for Spain to take part in the next schedule of “Naannaku Prematho”, which is likely to start from October 20th, Jr NTR would like to attend for this audio launch as it happens to become a sentiment for Nandamuri brothers to grace each other’s audio functions.

Another sentiment is that “Pataas” audio is launched at Park Hyatt hotel in Hyderabad, which happens to be a leading 7-star hotel in the city. At the same venue, “Sher” audio will be launched on October 10th and only few top fan leaders will be invited for the event.

Directed by Mallikarjun (Kathi fame), “Sher” has Sonal Chauhan in the lead and SS Thaman gave music. Hope all sentiments work in favour of Kalyan Ram now.

Homely beauty Kriti Kharbanda is a popular heroine in Kannada and was seen opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Teenmaar. Although the damsel has half a dozen projects in Kannada, she accepted to play Ram Charan’s sister in Sreenu Vaitla directing Bruce Lee. What might be the reason?

Ram Charan clarified on it saying, “Bruce Lee is mainly based on brother-sister sentiment. I am thankful to Kriti Kharbanda for doing the role. Even though she is a big star in Kannada, Kriti has accepted to play my sister. In fact, she has more significance than the lead heroine (Rakul Preet Singh) in the film. In fact, Kriti is second main lead after me.”

In his career Ram Charan was mostly seen in action backdrop films. Although Bruce Lee also comes in the same genre, the film is high on family emotions. Mainly as said by Charan, brother-sister sentiment is core point.

While speaking at the event, Chiranjeevi remembered the Hong Kong martial arts film- Enter The Dragon starring Bruce Lee. The megastar stated, like in the Hong Kong film, his son Charan’s film will also have brother-sister sentiment which is going to be one of the major highlights. Apparently, Ram Charan will gain family audience support with Bruce Lee.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Venkatesh will be playing a special cameo in his nephew Naga Chaitanya’s next film Majnu, the Telugu remake of Malayalam industry hit, Premam. Apparently, Naga Chaitanya requested his uncle to play the crucial role of Arivazhagan, played by veteran Kannada actor Anant Nag.

Reports further say that Venky responded positively to Naga Chaitanya’s proposal and he readily gave his nod. Currently, Venky is said to be on a holiday in Ooty with his family and an official confirmation could be out once he comes back to town. Also, clarification is expected on Venky’s next projects with directors like Maruthi and Kranthi Madhav.

Meanwhile, the makers of Majnu are in the final stages of casting, with actresses like Shruti Haasan, Disha Patani, Anupama Parameswaran etc under consideration. Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame will direct Majnu and senior producer Radhakrishna’s son will produce the film under Sitara Entertainments banner.

Ram Charan has become the first ever  star to get an app on his name in the entire south India. Announcing the Ram Charan – Official App, Cherry poster on Facebook, “My team made an interesting Video for the Application.

The app, which is available on Apple Store and Google Play for the Android version, went live already and enthusiastic fans have started installing the app on their smartphones. The app features Ram Charan’s full movies, songs, teasers and trailers of his upcoming films and even his interviews.

‘Brilliant actor and a fantastic person’, is what the Dutch actress Liza van der Smissen, who worked with Young Tiger NTR in the London schedule of Nannaku Prematho, said about NTR in a nutshell. Liza is a professional dancer, theatre and film artist of Dutch origin but living in London.

Liza played a crucial role in Nannaku Prematho and shot for several days with the crew. She used to occasionally update about her interactions with NTR and her experience in working in Nannaku Prematho. Praising NTR’s acting as ‘world class’ Liza also has high regards for NTR for his motivational talks.

Liza also grew a special bond with the team members of Nannaku Prematho and was slightly emotional when the crew wrapped up the London shoot and even posted pictures with actors Thagubothu Ramesh and Naveen etc. It must indeed be a different and a memorable experience for a foreign actress to play a crucial role in a Telugu film and Liza seems to be cherishing it thoroughly.
