Every time when Ram Charan’s film trailers are coming, there will be an immediate feeling that something or the other is missing. Dances and action is always there, but some elements will give a miss. Not this time, it seems.

Ram Charan plays the role of a stunt master in the movie, choreographing action for films. He has a lovely family, sister Kriti Kharbanda and father Rao Ramesh and others. As this family gets into a trouble after sister’s marriage, and what follows is the rest of story.

Featuring Charan’s comedy, romance, fights, dances and dialogue modulation like never before, Bruce Lee is a kick from all sides. Rakul Preet’s glamour and her dances alongside Charan are a visual feast. Thaman’s kick-ass background score and Manoj Paramahamsa’s cinematography are wonderful this time.

Time to appreciate Sreenu Vaitla for bringing a stunning trailer of a big star to the table after long time. Seems like the combo of Vaitla-Kona is back and the result will be known on October 16th.

This October, a sea wave of patriotic fervour engulfed Indians who paid their rich tributes to the Father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. However, one person, our own Tollywood young hero, grabbed the attention with his interesting take on Gandhi. Posing a rather intriguing question, Nikhil tweeted, “Oct 2nd? Gandhi Jayanthi. Was Gandhi a real hero? Or did the British leave India bcos they were too exhausted frm WW2.”

Not stopping here, the young hero further continued his argument and supported his views saying, “The British dint have the Economic or Military Clout anymore to hang on to their Colonies after World War 2. Hence the Empire Disintegrated.” Naturally, Nikhil’s tweets invited debate from all his followers, who came up with varied explanations and corrections.

In the end, Nikhil didn’t make the discussion too complicated and vouched for equal importance and recognition to other revolutionary fighters as he tweeted, “Great Freedom Fighters like Bhagat Singh nd Subhash Chandra Bose also need Due Recognition..Anyways _/_ thank u Gandhi ji #Respect #JaiHind ”

Tollywood is one crazy place for a variety of superstitions. One major superstition the T-town folks follow is with their film’s titles. Macho actor Gopichand is no exception and he has scored several hits with the titles that ended with ‘am’ sounding, love Yagnam, Ranam, Lakshyam, Jayam, Varsham etc.

Now, following the inspiration and continuing the tradition, Gopichand had tentatively named his next film Soukyam, on the lines of his last biggest hit, Loukyam, in Sriwass’ direction. Soukyam, also starring Regina, in AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary’s direction.

Gopi and Ravi Kumar Chowdary gave a blockbuster with Yagnam almost a decade ago and they are hoping to revive the magic yet again. The film, produced by Anand Prasad under his Bhavya Creations banner, is nearing the completion of its shooting.

Apparently, DSP choreographed a funky song with his typical energetic moves. Revealing about DSP’s new talent, Sukumar told an English news daily that DSP did a nice job with his choreography and that the song will surely become a highlight of the entire film.

Just when everyone started to think that the sultry Goan lass Ileana took a temporary break from films with plans of getting married to her Australian photographer boyfriend, the sexy beauty has bagged the biggest film of her career. Today, Ileana flew to Dubai to join the world renowned action hero, Jackie Chan, in his upcoming film, Kung Fu Yoga.

What’s even more exciting about the project is that Ileana would be playing a prominent role opposite Jackie Chan and not in a small cameo. Bollywood sources even say that the gorgeous beauty will perform several action sequences, which will be supervised by Jackie Chan himself in this Stanley Tong directed film.

Apparently, Ileana replaced Katrina Kaif this film as the latter could not sign the film citing unavailability of dates. In Kung Fu Yoga, noted villain Sonu Sood will play the villain’s role, and Sonu has already started shooting for his part with Jackie. The shooting will primarily take place in Dubai, China and India.

Here’s an amusing moment captured while Bollywood star Salman Khan wipes his sweat with the dupatta of his gorgeous actress Sonam Kapoor’s designer dress. The incident took place recently during the trailer launch event of the couple’s latest family drama, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

While Salman, who was sweating profusely, did the unthinkable, his sweet co-star Sonam was sportive enough to let him use her dupatta. This clearly shows the warmth and the comfort levels between both the stars. Meanwhile, the ultra-colorful trailer of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo brought back the memories of trademark Rajshri Films’ flavor and promises a colorful Diwali.

Income tax officials conducted raids on actors Vijay, Nayanthara, Samantha and the producers of Tamil film ‘Puli’ just a day before the Chimbu Devan directorial was tohit the screens. Due to these sudden raids, Puli premiere and morning shows were cancelled. When distributors demanded 30% money return since the Tamil Nadu government rejected tax exemption, Puli producers were not in a situation to pay back the money. Due to the raids they couldn’t do it.

It is heard that, the officials seized documents worth Rs 100 crore in the raids. They detained Rs 2 crore in cash and gold worth Rs 2 crore among other valuables in the places they raided. They conducted raids on 32 residences overall and offices of the actors and producers in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday and Thursday.

All theatres in Tamil Nadu and Kerala that were to screen Puli have cancelled morning shows. They screened the movie only after producers settled the payment issue.

Meanwhile, Puli Telugu version has also released yesterday with second shows in several theaters and screening has started in all the theaters today.
