Couple of days ago, we broke the news of Niharika Konidela signing her debut film in the direction of acclaimed director Ramaraju of ‘Mallela Teeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu’ fame, and here comes the news about another one. Just a day after Niharika informed us that her ‘daddy’ Chiranjeevi is quite happy for her getting into films, reports came out that she signed her second film.

Apparently, director Ayodhya Kumar of ‘Minugurulu’ fame narrated a script to her the other day and she gave an immediate nod. We hear that Nagababu is taking call on the scripts being signed by his son Varun Tej and daughter Niharika. Reports further said that Nagababu was stunned after listening to the story narrated by Ayodhya Kumar, and wondered what the script was doing all these days if not waiting for his daughter.

This new project was reportedly said to be be Telugu-Tamil bilingual and it will be Niharika’s debut film in Kollywood. Apparently, Niha wants to focus on both Tamil and Telugu circuits, and wants to prove herself as an able actress who could pull off author-backed roles with huge intensity.

But here’s the much needed confirmation. As per the talent management company that’s managing Niharika’s PR, the Mega niece has not signed the film yet and that she is no hurry to sign back to back projects, instead concentrate on her debut film for the moment.

Mass Raja Raviteja has become choosy these days when it comes to picking up films. He’s taking one shot at a time and not rushing to finish many projects in a calendar year. Latest we hear is that he is on the verge of signing two star directors who delivered to hits recently.

Director Koratala Siva’s next is still clouded with confusion, as some say Jr NTR okayed his flick, but insiders are still not confirming this movie. In fact, Jr NTR is said to be spending time with family and son Abhiram before he flies to Spain to take part in next schedule of “Nannaku Prematho”.

Latest update is that Koratala Siva has narrated the same line Jr NTR is said to be thinking back-and-forth to give nod, to Mass Raja Raviteja, and got okayed immediately. Seems like for Siva, if one star-hero rejects another will pick that subject. More light on this buzz is yet to be seen.

Meanwhile Raviteja has another film in the offing under the direction of Harish Shankar. Post wrapping “Bengal Tiger”, Ravi wants to start this film with the director who has given him both “Shock” and “Mirapakai”.

There is an air of excitement every where in the Telugu States over the debut of Akkineni scion, Akhil. The makers are planning to take it to Tamil industry as well. Akhil is being dubbed in to Tamil and will have simultaneous release there along with the Telugu version on October 22nd.

Plans are on to introduce Akhil to Tamil industry by Superstar Rajinikanth in a special event in Chennai in the first week of October. Senior Producer, C.Kalyan bagged the Tamil rights of the movie and currently the dubbing works are progressing at brisk pace.

Nagarjuna used to have good following in Tamil Nadu in his prime but he never concentrated to take that to the next level but Akhil is serious on increasing his market wherever possible. Akhil had already seen the highest prerelease business ever for a debutant in Telugu film industry.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Bengal Tiger now enters the Diwali race. The makers have announced that they are planning to release the movie on November 5th as Diwali Special. They will begin their promotions with the audio launch event on October 17th.

The team recently completed its shooting formalities and is currently working on its post production activities. Raviteja is banking big on this film for success after that disastrous result of Kick-2 couple of months back. The makers claim this film to be the costliest in Raviteja’s career.

Milky Beauty Tamannah and Chubby Raashi Khanna are playing the female leads in the movie which is directed by Racha fame Sampath Nandi. Bheems Ceciroleo who composed music for Sampath Nandi’s first production, Galipatam is composing music for this movie.

The makers of Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee are running on very tight schedules to finish their movie and release for October 16th as Dussehra Special. But they confidently say they are on track. They are planning to complete the shooting part by October 4th and the entire shoot by October 10th.

They have also booked a slot for censor on October 12th. They will finish the censor formalities that day with rough copy if the first copy is not ready. Megastar Chiranjeevi had began shooting for his cameo in the movie from today. He will shoot three days for the film. The audio launch of the film will be happening on October 2nd in Hyderabad.

The makers are planning the audio release event in a variety format like never before. So far they have released a song and teaser, and they have got good applause. Thaman had composed tunes for this movie. Srinu Vaitla is the director.

Hunk hero Rana Daggubati has finally okayed a new film, thereby giving first ever chance to Prem Rakshit as a director. And guess who is playing the lead girl alongside in this film. It’s none other than dusky siren Regina Cassandra whose enchanting glamour in Subramanyam For Sale is highly talked about.

According to reports, this new film which happens to be a romantic entertainer with loads of action stuffed in it, will go on floors next month. No doubt, we could expect some stunning dances and fights from Rana as well, while Regina will shake the floor as usual.

Mahesh Babu has kept his word again. Living up to his promise of adopting a village each from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the Srimanthudu star finalised a village in the Mahabubnagar district for adopting it. Siddhapuram village in Kottur Mandal will get this special privilege. After announcing that he would adopt Burripalem village in Guntur district, Mahesh had mentioned that he would adopt a village in Mahabubnagar district.

However, the star then said that the village would be finalised later. Making it true now, Mahesh in consultation with IT Minister KTR hand-picked Siddapuram village as his choice. With this Mahesh proved to be real Srimanthudu.

Making the news public, Mahesh took to his micro-blogging page Twitter and wrote, “After much thought @ktrtrs garu and myself have chosen to adopt Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district 🙂 Looking forward to a constructive and meaningful journey ahead :)”

Tipped to be a movie on village adoption based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brainchild initiative Sandad Adarsh Gram Yojana, the movie starring Mahesh Babu and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles became a Box Office money spinner making it as the second-highest grossing Telugu film.

The Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster, Thani Oruvan will be the tenth project of Ram Charan’s career. The film will start rolling by the end of this year and will be directed by Surrender Reddy who recently bagged a big flop with Kick-2. He is currently tailoring the script to suit the Telugu nativity.

Kajal Agarwal will be pairing up with Ram Charan for the fourth time in this film. They have previously paired for Magadheera, Nayak and Govindhudu Andari Vaadele. All the movies were hits. Senior Producers DVV Danayya and NV Prasad are going to jointly produce the film.

Ram Charan is currently busy wrapping up the shooting of his next, Bruce Lee. The entire shooting is being planned to complete on October 10th and the film will see light on October 16th as Dussehra Special. Ram Charan will begin Thani Oruvan remake after a brief break.
