Varun Sandesh To Marry Vithika Sheru
Wedding Bells are ringing at the house of actor Varun Sandesh. The Happy Days star will be tying the knot soon. And the bride-to-be in question is none other than his girlfriend and co-star Vithika Sheru with whom he paired up with in Paddanandi Premalo Mari. Though the film didn’t fare well at the Box Office, the cupid which struck between actors on the sets became strong and steady since then.
Varun and Vithika are in very much love but haven’t made it public yet. The love couple wants to keep it low-profile and hence keeping the news under wraps. Recently, the duo expressed their love for one another to their respective families who were positive about their relationship. It’s learnt that the parents of both families met recently and things are moving forward.
However, we hear that it’d take time for the couple to tie the knot. The engagement ceremony will be made in a month.

‘Om’ Tattoo On Thigh, Sexy Pop Icon Hurts Indians
A large group of angry Hindus in America have been protesting against one of the world’s most celebrated pop singers Selena Gomez for sporting the tattoo of the sacred Hindu emblem ‘Om’ on her upper left thigh, and claimed it highly ‘irreverent and disrespectful’ of Hindu religion.
Rajan Zed, the President of Universal Society of Hinduism, said that Hindus begin and end their prayers with ‘Om’, which contains the entire universe. Suggesting that Selena should get acquainted with the basics of world religions, Rajan said, ‘such trivialization of ‘Om’ is upsetting for Hindus and it is inappropriate for Selena to place such revered and sacred symbol of Hinduism with high religious significance on her thigh’.
Recently, Selena was photographed by paparazzi as she was coming out of the sea all drenched and her bikini glimpses the OM symbol tattooed on her hip. This is not the first time that Selena invited the Hindu ire, as in 2013, she was ridiculed by American Hindus for being insensitive by wearing a bindi at an awards function.
Subrahmanyam For Sale Movie Review – 3/5
Story:
Subramanyam (Sai Dharam Tej) is a good man but turns selfish due to circumstances. He goes to US in search of dollars. There he meets Seetha (Regina) who comes there to get married to her love interest Abhi (Ranadheer). Seetha is the elder daughter of Reddappa (Suman).
But the marriage breaks up and then Subrahmanyam rescues her. Both of their problems bring them together. When things appear good, trouble comes back haunting Seetha. What happens next in their lives and love forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Despite the film being Sai Dharam Tej’s third film only, the actor had displayed tremendous ease in body language and screen presence. The comedy timing improved a bit and has to get further better going forward. The disappointing thing is the zero improvement in the emotional scenes. The 2-3 emotional scenes he is in totally failed to showcase any emotion.
Regina is shown as an emotional lady and she does well there. Their Chemistry worked out big time. Brahmi is at usual self and managed to entertain. Rao Ramesh plays an over the top villain and he is decent. Ajay and other character artistes are fine.
Technical Performances:
Subrahmanyam for Sale is a routine Harish Shankar in Srinu Vaitla’s format. The movie has his usual doses of comedy, few double meaning dialogues and some dose of emotions. He also worked on his most usual second half problem. The emotional climax however did not worked out and in fact turned unintentionally comical.
The film’s music composed by Mickey J.Meyer is quite below par. The rerecording is slightly better. He failed mainly in working for mass song which are not his forte. Camera work is good while Editing is decent. Choreography is fine with couple of songs while dialogues are penned well. Dil Raju’s production values are good as well.
Plus Points:
- Entertainment
- Second half
- Lead pair chemistry
Minus Points:
- Wafer thin Storyline
- Weak first half
- Poor ending
Final Say: Subrahmanyam for Sale is a decent film despite its drawbacks. The director manages to keep us interested with some good comedy start to the end. The film is no where near Harish Shankar’s best but is definitely better than his last outing. A one time watch!!
Pic Talk: Anushka Kills It In Bikini
Those fiery eyes, that electric attitude and the golden, shiny bikini that reveals her curvy assets are enough to make any male go crazy at heart for the Bollywood sultry siren Anushka Sharma. Anushka totally reigns over the male senses in this scorching capture.
After the back to back debacles of her home production NH10 and the heavu budget magnum opus Bombay Velvet and the following lukewarm response to Dil Dhadaknedo, Anushka has become quite choosy about the scripts and so far, she has only given her nod to Ae Dil Hain Mushkil, in Karan Johar production.
Cash-for-vote: TDP Gains Over TRS
Telangana TDP senior leader and Kodangal MLA Revanth Reddy’s alleged act of bribing TRS nominated MLA to vote for TDP in MLC elections have set shivers down the spine among several senior politicians cutting across political parties. The sensational cash-for-vote scandal became centre of news for a while. Though the incumbent TRS tried to use this as a tool against Opposition TDP and wanted to put TDP in a spot, the whole episode, towards the end is turning out to be in favour of TDP, feel political analysts .
They’re of the opinion that detections within TDP before Revanth Reddy episode would be high where every month one or two leaders from TTDP used to join TRS. TRS leaders either directly or indirectly tried to rope in other party leaders mostly TDP to join TRS. But after this vote-for-note episode not even a single leader from TRS is daring to woo or invite TDP leaders to join their party fearing of recording.
Meanwhile, Congress party too incidentally benefitted from the whole Revanth Reddy issue as it too saved few of its leaders who were eyeing at switch over of parties. Looks like, the whole ploy of TRS to put TDP in difficult position boomeranged and put TRS in a fix.
