Sankarabharanam Link With Obama
Sankarabharanam story has a link with Obama, not the USA president, but Bollywood film Phas Gaye Re Obama. As per a buzz, Sankarabharanam’s story is inspired by the Bollywood hilarious entertainer. Phas Gaye Re Obama was a low budget movie and was a huge hit for its budget, thanks to unlimited mirth. The film is about an NRI’s tactics to escape a kidnap and also to come out of financial crisis.
Although Sankarabharanam’s plot is akin to Phas Gaye Re Obama, writer Kona Venkat made many changes to script to suit Telugu nativity and also to match hero Nikhil’s image, if the grapevine is to be believed. In the film, Nikhil will be seen as a bankrupt NRI arriving in India to sell his ancient property to repay his loan in USA. What circumstances he faces, when a group of local goons try to kidnap him for money.
Off late, Nikhil is accepting only experimental and entertaining films. Sankarabharanam is expected to be another fun ride from him. Directed by newcomer Uday Nandanavanam, the film has Nanditha playing Nikhil’s love interest. Sankarabharanam primarily being shot in Maharashtra, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh is likely to release on November 2nd.
Mecca, Street No 204 Lashed With Dead Bodies
Mecca, the abode of Muslim Gods is overpopulated with annual Haj pilgrims attending in Millions from many countries across the world. After a recent accident at the civil construction site in Mecca which killed 107 pilgrims when a massive crane fell on them, here is the latest report of at least 220 people have been killed in a stampede, Saudi Arabia’s civil defense directorate issued a statement.
This year, an estimate of 2 Million pilgrims will visit Mecca and the stampede took place at Street No 204 at a place in Mina, lying in between Mount Arafat and Mecca Grand Mosque. These streets are laid in between pilgrim camps to provide the walking space. Today is a special day at Mecca where stoning of the devil ritual is performed.
As of now 220 were reported dead and 450 seriously injured. Dead bodies are thrown like a lash on the street and Hajj authorities are clearing the way. In 2006, on the same day of stoning the devil, nearly 360 people were dead in a stampede. Coincidentally, the stampede occurred today on the same day.
Short Film Sensation Item For Mahesh
Chandini Chowdary. This names sets butterflies tweaking in YouTube short film lovers. Already this hot Telugu girl debuted as heroine in the recent release “Ketugadu” which went unnoticed. At the same time, her performance in the film is also not appealing. Still, director Srikanth Addala has found that spark in the eyes of this hottie.
There is this sangeeth type of song in “Brahmotsavam”, which also happens to be Superstar Mahesh’s introduction song in the film. Currently this song is being shot in Ramoji Film City from last 1 week and much to anyone’s surprise Chandini appeared on the sets the other day. It’s heard that she is doing a small role in the movie, appearing in a couple of scenes and shaking a leg with Mahesh in this song.
Though this bit-role might not be of big help to her career as a heroine, the thought of shaking a leg with Mahesh Babu is quite exciting for sure. Sometimes such cameos will be resulting in total game change, and hope Chandini will get one with Brahmotsavam.
Good Start for Subrahmanyam for Sale!
Sai Dharam Tej’s Subrahmanyam for Sale had a good opening in all the centers of the Telugu States despite the movie releasing on a working day. The makers have planned Thursday release expecting it to be Bakrid holiday but the holiday was shifted to Friday, making the movie a working day release.
Despite that the openings are good in all the centers except Multiplexes. The occupancy and collections are expected to increase from the evening shows and the movie is expected to do well for the next three days due to long weekend holiday due Bakrid holiday tomorrow.
Moreover Monday is also a labour holiday. Given that the talk and reviews are good, every thing looks positive for the movie to rock the box office. The movie had seen a prerelease business of about 18.5 Crore. So it should make at least 20 Crore to be termed as a hit.
Premam Remake is Majnu in Telugu!
Our readers are aware that Naga Chaitanya is doing Premam remake in Telugu. The movie will be directed by Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti and will have three heroines. Amyra Dastur and Anupama Parameshwaran are confirmed as two heroines and the makers are in talks with Shruti Hassan for the main heroine.
Naga Chaitanya is licking his wounds after that failure of Dochey and is keenly working of his next Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo with Gautam Menon to be back on success route. Naga Chaitanya will take up the Telugu remake of Malayalam super hit, Premam after the completion of Saahasam Swaasaa Saagipo.
Premam is a blockbuster hit in Malayalam. The movie with subtitles did extremely well across the country. The remake rights of the movie are with Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. Earlier it is said that Ram may remake the film but now it is in Naga Chaitanya’s court.
Salman Warns His Fans Of Impostors
Bollywood box-office emperor Salman Khan is already neck deep into several issues and looks like he’s now run into something new. Recently, some of Salman’s fans brought it to his notice that a Facebook page has been auditioning wannabe actors and actresses for an upcoming Salman Khan film.
Most such shady people often trick desperate youngsters by cheating them for money and even other dangerous things. Quickly reacting on the fake Facebook page, Salman tweeted, “A fake Facebook page claims that I am casting for a film. Beware of fakes and rumors. Neither me nor my managers are casting for any project.”
Explaining his fans about how such misuse takes place, the Being Human star said in a stern voice, “Some ppl click pics with me and then misuse them. This is not okay.” This is not the first time such incidents took place in Bollywood exploiting a star’s image. Stars like Salman, Hrithik and even Amitabh Bachchan have been victims of such cyber fraud in the past.
