Here’s an exclusive update. If the insiders reports are anything to go by, the hot and happening actress Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as an MLA in the Allu Arjun starrer film, Sarainodu. So far, we have seen star heroes like Mahesh Babu donning an MLA getup in Dookudu. But with a star heroine wearing khadi on Tollywood screen is indeed a pleasantly surprising news.

After starting out with a low budget film, Rakul grabbed the much-needed hit with Venkatadri Express and since then, there has been no looking back in Tollywood for this sultry hot beauty. After missing a golden opportunity to romance Mahesh Babu in Brahmotsavam, Rakul teamed up with NTR in Nannaku Prematho and Ram Charan in the soon to be released Bruce Lee.

Sarainodu is being directed by mass action films specialist Boyapati Srinu and produced by Bunny’s father and senior producer Allu Arvind under his Geetha Arts banner. The shooting is going on at jet speed and Boyapati reportedly carved a powerful mass character for Allu Arjun, who is expected to thrill his fans in a never seen before avatar.

Yesteryear actress turned politician Nagma Moraraji was appointed General Secretary of All India Mahila Congress, along with 11 other senior Congress leaders. Shobha Oza, the party’s spokesperson, is now the head of the Mahila Congress. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi approved the list of general secretaries on Tuesday.

In Supreme, Sai Dharam Tej will be seen in an out and out mass role as he plays the role is a taxi driver.

For this film, Sai Dharam Tej will be romancing the voluptuous young beauty Rashi Khanna, who will be seen in a police officer’s role. Sai Karthik is the film’s music composer. Interestingly, this is Sai Dharam Tej’s third film in a row with producer Dil Raju, after Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Subramanyam For Sale. Will this successful combination come up with yet another blockbuster?

Maverick director Teja is continuously attacking Tollywood bigwigs. The director in his recent interview has assaulted politicians too. He said KCR, Chandrababu and YS Jagan should remove Rao/Naidu/Reddy from their names.

“I have great respect for Chiranjeevi gaaru who reached all the heights with hard work and dedication. If I get a chance, I would love to work with Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and even Balakrishna, but I can’t make movies with Chiranjeevi and NTR. They typically pick commercial subjects and are in an image mould, which I can’t make.

Chiranjeevi, Krishna, ANR and NTR used to work more than 2 films a year. But, there is no use with current generation top stars those who can’t even do at least one film a year. On films front, recently Sirish has completed a schedule of his film under Parasuram’s direction. Tentatively titled “Chuttalabbayi”, the film was shot at Vizag and Lavanya Tripathi is the lead girl.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s Kanche is gearing up for release for Diwali on November 5th. There are good expectations on Kanche as the recently released theatrical trailer is quite interesting. There is a good demand for the dubbing rights of the movie from Tamil and Hindi industries.

Some big offers are lined for the dubbing rights of this movie and the makers will complete the deals very soon. Kanche is set in the backdrop of World War-2 and Krish claims that ‘Kanche’ is a film that has never been made in Telugu Cinema and quite possibly Indian cinema before.

Bollywood model Pragya Jaiswal is romancing Varun in this film. Singeetham Srinivasa Rao who is known for his critically acclaimed films like Pushpaka Vimanam, Aditya 369 etc is playing a crucial role in the movie.

Varun Tej’s debut film, Mukunda ended up as a dreadful experience and Varun wants to make amends with this film. On the other side, Krish recently tasted blockbuster success in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar is Back’.
