That Proud Look On Kalyan Baabai’s Face
Kalyan Ram is a happy person. After watching the performance of his late brother Janaki Ram’s son, Master NTR on silver screen, he has no words to express. With acting in the blood, no doubt the young kid made his Baabai proud.
The other day, whole of Nandamuri family including Kalyan Ram, his wife and children, Balayya’s wife Vasundara and Purandareswari’s husband Daggubati Venkateswara Rao have all attended the special screening of the movie ‘Dana Veera Sura Karna’ at a preview theatre in Hyderabad.
Post the show, that proud moment on Kalyan Ram’s face about his brother’s son performance is visible. Thoroughly Nandamuri family has enjoyed this children’s movie, where the respected mythological characters are played by kids all. Master NTR acted in the role of Karna and Krishna in the film.
It could be noticed all the Nandamuri family actors other than legendary NTR got introduced to silver screen as kids and then forayed into full time acting as heroes much later. We have to see when the film is going to release.
Size Zero, Tollywood’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha?
Today, the first look poster of Anushka starrer Size Zero was released by the makers. In the poster, a heavily overweight Anushka sits on a cot and stares at a shy and handsome Arya. The overall poster, with the pleasant wedding like setup, reminds one of the scenes from the superhit Bollywood romantic comedy, Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Dum Laga Ke Haisha deals with the tumultuous relationship of a young couple who ties the knot in an arranged marriage. Even Dum Laga Ke Haisha deals with the story of the overweight female protagonist finding love with her uninterested husband.
On the other hand, Size Zero is about a overweight Anushka falling in love with her gym instructor, played by Arya who falls for the charms of a svelte beauty, Sonal Chauhan. All these similarities ring a bell somewhere and one wonders if Size Zero indeed drew its inspiration from its Bollywood doppelganger. Well, let’s not get into any conclusions and wait for the film’s release and hope that Size Zero will also become a hit like Dum Laga Ke Haisha.
KCR uses NTR name to scare all?
Telangana CM KCR has his own unique style which surprises many. His aggressive and attacking style makes many friends and at the same time invite the wrath of many. That is the reason people love or hate KCR for the same qualities. Recently KCR had review meeting with his party MLAs and MLCs.In the meeting he scared them all using the name of former CM NTR, founder of TDP party.
KCR citing his example asked all his party leaders and cadre to be careful and warned of any complacency. He said people donot bother about reputations and if they turn angry they will punish even the greatest like the NTR.Many are appreciating KCR for reigning his party MLAs and leaders from getting arrogant at the sight of power falling in their laps.
Talented Heroine’s Dumbest Role Ever
There are some heroines who just look glamorous but can’t pull the show. Few are those who look extremely beautiful and then kill the given role. Happening girls Nitya Menon and Colors Swathi fall under that category. There is another girl who is expected to be their competitor, and it’s Avika Gor, of TV serial Chinnari Pellikoothuru fame.
After wooing Telugu audiences with movie like Uyyala Jampala, many expected that Avika will take Tollywood by a storm. Then there is this film called Lakshmi Maa Intiki Raave which failed miserably. In today’s release Cinema Choopista Maava too, Avika is the leading lady.
Quite shockingly she has no single scene that will explore her acting prowess. In every frame, she just stood like a doll and delivered bits and pieces of dialogues. Only in the climax scene, she has a lengthy dialogue that satisfies her fans, but no doubt this is the dumbest role she has done.
First Look: Stylish NTR Coming On Jan 8th
It’s all official. NTR-Sukumar’s Nannaku Prematho will be hitting the screens for Sankranthi 2016. The family entertainer is slated for Jan 8 release, said producer BVSN Prasad in a statement released by the production house. Currently the film is being shot in London for 20 days after which the unit will move to Spain where the film will be shot for another 20 days. With this, the film’s shoot is expected to be wrapped up.
Already NTR’s look in the film caught attention and become talking point. He is looking stylish ever in his career. His looks, costumes said to be so different and director Sukumar apparently took great care in Tarak’s looks, attire in film. Also buzz has it that NTR will be seen riding a swanky, posh bike in the film which is expected to make his fans merry. Devi Sri Prasad has rendered tunes for the film. Given that Sukumar-DSP’s combo is big hit music-wise, expectations on the songs are way too high.
Although the makers initially planned to release the film this year, keeping in mind big festive season,they decided to push the film for Sankranthi. The film marks the collaboration of Rakul Preet Singh with NTR. Jagapathi Babu is essaying the role of NTR’s father while Rajendra Prasad is playing another pivotal role. So, fans have to wait till Jan 2016 to watch the film on big screen.
Hyd techie ends life due to work stress
In a shocking testimony of the amount of pressure the IT professionals go through at work, a 45-year old techie named Sriram Rajaram reportedly committed suicide on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Preliminary investigation reveals that Sriram Rajaram, Strategy and Corporate Development of a leading IT company in Hyderabad, has been suffering from severe work related pressures which led to depression.
Police reveal that Sriram booked a cab two days ago and reached a tourist resort in Ananthagiri near Vikarabad, 90 kilometers from Hyderabad. Sriram even bought a nylon rope en route. The techie then emailed his senior official saying that he had been under severe stress and that he was ending his life.
A top ranked police officer from Hyderabad called the local police in Vikarabad to check if a person named Sriram Rajaram checked into Haritha Resort. Upon arriving at the resort, the police found Sriram’s body hanging from the ceiling fan.
This tragic incident once again throws light on the irregular and extra working hours, deadlines, targets and appraisals the IT professionals undergo in their professional lives. Experts opine that more than 50% of IT professionals have been experiencing severe mental pressure at work place.

Top director under CBI Scanner
Hugely popular for his 100 crore blockbusters like Ajay Devgan’s Singham franchise and Shah Rukh’s Chennai Express, Bollywood hit maker Rohit Shetty is under the CBI’s Mumbai wing’s scanner for allegedly bribing the former Chief of the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC), Rakesh Kumar.
The CBI’s Mumbai wing sent its recommendation to the Delhi headquarters for the filing of a case against Rohit Shetty and the producers of the 2014 blockbuster Singham Returns, on the charges of bribing 2 lakhs to the ex-chief of the CBFC to procure the censor certificate on 8th August, 2014, only a few days before the film’s UAE release on 14th August, 2014.
During the investigation, the CBI found out that the Censor Chief had suggested 12 cuts for the film citing that the film may hurt religious sentiments. Apparently, Rakesh Kumar also told Rohit that he was under intense heat from the ministry not to clear the film.
However, a desperate Rohit Shetty, who was under extreme pressure to obtain the censor certificate to release the film on time, insisted on no cuts and allegedly bribed him 2 lakhs and obtained the censor certificate.The investigation is going on currently and the CBI head quarters is yet to take its decision on filing the case.
