Puri waiting for his Mogudu?

It is known that Prince Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is slated for grand release on Aug 7th just two days ahead of his birthday on Aug 9th. Puri Jagannath wishing Prince Mahesh Babu said Mahesh is loved by all and he gives directors Kick with his action.
Puri said he watched the film’s trailers and teasers and Mahesh created powerful impact. He also revealed that he listened to film’s audio tuned by Devi Sri Prasad and the song ‘evadu kodite dimmatirigi mind block avuddo..aade naa mogudu’ attracted him the most.

Telangana ruled by modern Tughlak?
People may not have seen Mohamad Bin Tughlak but many have heard stories of his role. He was known for his illogical decisions which left all people undergo lot of troubles.
Now many are wondering whether newly formed state of Telangana is ruled by modern Tughlak. TRS chief KCR promised heaven to people of the region and came to power with thumping majority.

When anyone questioned him and his decisions he bluntly stated he is Hitler and more powerful than him. He even remarked he will act as dictator to fulfill his wishes.
Now seeing his style of perfection it seems even his ministers got infected with his virus. Deputy CM Mohamad Ali thundered that if need government will demolish historical monument Charminar. Analysts feel if Telangana government continues in such headstrong manner, people may soon teach it a befitting and unforgettable lesson.
PM Modi not scared of Chandrababu?
Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu prides himself as modern day chanakya and many hail him as king maker. Chandrababu himself manytimes boasted that he played key role in getting two Prime Ministers Deve Dowda and IK.Gujral get elected by convincing various regional parties.
However now he is facing attacks from all quarters for unable to get special status on Andhra Pradesh. Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP and Chiranjeevi of Congress blasted him for not acting tough and get special status to Andhra Pradesh from PM Modi whom he supported in the last elections.
To the top of it deafening silence of TDP MPs in the parliament when the Union Government announced that special status was not possible is having negative effect on his government.
TDP MP Murali Mohan speaking to scribes on TDP and Chandrababu’s dilemma says though all MPs are ready to quit their posts in support of special status, nothing substantial will happen as the action will not shake Union Government and PM Modi.
He said PM Modi is not scared of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP’s threats as they have absolute majority in parliament. He said only by consultations and persuations anything could be achieved.

Rayalaseema Association for Telangana formed
Scores of Associations had been flouted in Telangana citing various reasons since KCR’s historic fast-unto-death in the year 2009. Welcome one more such Association and this time it’s solely meant for Rayalaseema natives.
‘Rayalaseema Association for Telangana’, an organisation formed to safeguard the interests of people of the Rayalseema region in the country’s youngest state, is being formed officially.
In a meeting held in Hyderabad, Election for ‘Rayalseema Association for Telangana’ took place in the presence of few prominent personalities from the Rayalaseema region. Even former High Court justice Hanmanth Reddy attended the meeting.
Lakshman Reddy who is a key member of the Association expressed the view that most of the settlers in Telangana are from Rayalaseema. He claims his team will be working to address the issues raised by Rayalaseema people living in Telangana.
Sardaar Not Happy Already?
Yesterday was a historic day for all the fans of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. After a delay of nearly two years, Pawan stepped in the sets of his most eagerly anticipated film, Gabbar Singh now known as Sardaar. Pawan started off with a fight sequence and even released a special still for all his excited fans.
However, looks like all their excitement will be cut short now. According to the latest reports from close sources, the film’s latest schedule, which was commenced on 29th, will be wrapped up by 4th August, after canning just one action sequence. The reason behind this is that Pawan and the makers are not happy with the sets erected for the film.
The source further says that the art director Brahma Kadali will be freshly erecting lavish sets and the shooting will resume soon. It has also come to our notice that the film’s leading lady has not been finalized yet, and Anisha Ambrose is almost uncertain to be a part of this film. A massive hunt is on to rope in a Bollywood babe to play Pawan’s love interest.
Baahubali in 100 Crore club of AP and Nizam
SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali on Sunday, the 24th day after its release had created history. The movie had crossed more than 100 Crore share only from AP and Nizam becoming the first film to achieve this feat.
Interestingly, before Baahubali there is no Telugu film which even crossed 70 Crore share in both the Telugu states. Baahubali is the first ever film in the 70 Crore, 80 Crore and 80 Crore share clubs. Unless Baahubali-2 breaks it, these records will stay for a long time.
Absence of notable films at the box office is helping the movie at the box office. The movie is doing good in the weekends. We will have to see if Srimanthudu releasing on August 7th will stop the Baahubali juggernaut.
Censor Board’s Green Signal For Boothulu
In February early this year, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) under the leadership of its Chairman Pahlaj Nihalani, chalked out a list of cuss words that are banned in Indian films. This move of moral policing created a huge mess where filmmakers and free thinkers who vouch for freedom of expression have come down on CBFC’s fascist rules.
Yesterday, the CBFC’s Central Board meet again and the board members have decided against the ongoing ban. With this, the chairman Pahlaj Nihalani has decided to revoke the ban and even informed all the regional censor officers. This decision has come in as a huge relief to all the filmmakers.
Some of the banned Telugu cuss words include Bongu, Bokka, Nee Amma, VP, Chetha Na Kodaka, Nayala, Mushti Nayala, Chillara Nayala, Gadida Kodaka etc. Apart from these, the censor board also decided to be strict with filmmakers who resort to the use of double entendres and objectifying language.
Baahubali crosses PK. Now India’s all-time No.1
The wait is over. In what can be considered a historic achievement, India’s biggest motion picture, Baahubali, has now become the country’s biggest box-office earner in terms of nett collections. At the end of its fourth weekend yesterday, Baahubali clocked a sensational nett amount of 345 crores to surpass the previous highest earner, PK, with 339 crores.
What’s even more staggering is that Baahubali pulled off this stunning feat all in just 24 days and the Baahubali storm is only looking to destroy more records all over. Meanwhile, after shattering all the existing south Indian records by a huge margin, Baahubali is all set to cross the sensational 5 billion gross mark by today.
Interestingly, Rajkumar Hirani, the director of PK is Rajamouli’s favorite director in India and he now surpassed his record. However, PK still stands much atop of Baahubali in terms of worldwide gross with more than 700 crores. To challenge this record, Baahubali must release soon in China and other international languages.
