RGV To Direct Rajamouli Villain
Ram Gopal Varma is going to team up with Eega fame Sudeep. Buzz is that the duo will be joining their forces for their forthcoming film. Billed to be a story on mafia backdrop, the story is reportedly based on Bengaluru based mafia don Muttappa Rai. Varma has tentatively titled the film as Appa. After doing romantic drama like 365 Days, Varma is back to crime. He is currently busy with Killing Veerappan which is in its final leg of production.
Mafia backdrop has been Varma’s forte. Satya, Company, D which are considered as Indian gangster trilogy have gained cult status and set path for several other films to follow. Satya has spawned countless imitations in Bollywood and else where. Now that Ramu is returning to his favourite genre and roping in Sudeep as the protagonist, expectations on the film shot up.
Buzz has it that Appa, will be a bilingual and Ramu is planning to make this film in Telugu and Kannada simultaneously. Given that Sudeep is popular in Telugu and Kannada, Varma seems to have taken this decision. For starters, Sudeep shot to fame with Rajamouli’s Eega. He is quite popular in Kannada and delivered blockbuster with Ranna (Kannada remake of Attarintiki Daredi). This interesting combo is raising curiosity. Let’s wait and watch for an official announcement.
Banning Porn Is What ISIS Is To Freedom
It is not always that eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma talks crap on random things. Sometimes, he does make sense and yesterday was one such day. The master filmmaker came down heavily at the authorities that banned porn through several Internet Service Providers (ISP). Last night, the director shot a series of sensible tweets against the porn ban.
RGV said, “Considering the sheer popularity of Porn whichever government owns up to banning it is sure to be wiped out of existence in next election.” RGV then compared the ban to the atrocities caused by dreaded terrorist organizations saying, “To deprive consenting adults of the harmless fun they are having of watching porn is equivalent of what Taliban nd ISIS is doing to freedom.”
Varma then warned the authorities saying, “History proved it multiple times that if anytime anything is banned it will just gather strength in the underground.” The maverick genius then takes the help of several survey reports to support his arguments as he says, “It’s a proven fact by international surveys that instead of fuelling sexual crimes porn actually provides safer outlet for sexual repression.”Well, these are some heartfelt words from a true porn lover.
King’s costly holiday in France
The King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, has arrived in France with as many as 1000 friends for a three week beach holiday in the French Riviera. While his holiday is a major boon for the local economy, residents and other tourists are furious with the closure of the public beach to necessitate security and privacy for the King and his friends.
While the King’s close friends will be lodged at the family’s villa by the Riviera coastline between Marseille and Antibes, 700 other members of the contingent will be housed in top class hotels in Cannes. This expensive holiday is seen as a boon to the hotel, tourism and retail industry. And the entire Riviera has been cordoned off by the coastguards for safety.
However, this ‘privatization’ and intrusion of the public beach has angered the locals, who have collected more than 45,000 signatures and appealed to the local authorities to protect their fundamental principle of equality of all citizens over the natural space and an intrinsic public property which should be available to everyone and not just the privileged.

It is no exaggeration in saying that there is not a single movie lover who is not amazed by the visual wonder of India’s biggest motion picture, Baahubali. And the latest star to be mesmerized by Baahubali is none other than the India’s biggest star, Shah Rukh Khan.
After nearly three weeks of Baahubali’s release, Shah Rukh finally managed to watch the film soon after he completed the latest schedule of Dilwale in Bulgaria. Soon after landing in Mumbai, SRK took his kids and family to watch Baahubali and was thrilled to bits.
Venting out his amazement, the King Khan tweeted “Baahubali what a hard worked at film. 2 every1 involved thanx for the inspiration. U can only reach the sky if u r willing to take the leap!” This is indeed a proud moment for Telugu film industry to hear such words of appreciation from the country’s biggest star.
