The survey was carried out at the instructions of CM Chandrababu.

The survey took place in all the districts of AP, and statewide and district wise ranks were allotted to the MLAs based on their work and developmental activities in their constituencies. According to the report which was submitted to Chandrababu this afternoon, Balayya stood out as the most charismatic MLA in Ananthapur.

Balayya’s reign as Hindupur MLA has resulted in immense development in the area and Balayya has been striving hard to convince the centre to allot more funds for the drinking water scheme, construction of new roads and improving of facilities at the Hindupur Government Hospital.

A Police Constable filed a criminal defamation complaint against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly using a derogatory word ‘thulla’ while speaking about cops in a TV Interview.

Harvinder, a constable posted at the Gobind Puri Police Station, complained that he was hurt by the word ‘thulla’ which was used by Chief Minister for cops and this remark has demoralized the entire police force. He also alleged describing the cops as unproductive has damaged their reputation and Kejriwal’s comment was intended provoke breach of peace. The complainant sought the court to issue summons to Arvind Kejriwal for the offence under Sections 500 & 504 of IPC.

A Court in Delhi accepted the defamation complaint against Delhi Chief Minister and fixed September 10th for recording of pre-summoning evidence. Subsequently, Govind Puri Police Station House Officer & Head Constable, who were witnesses in the case, were summoned for recording their statements.

Union Government has set the record straight with its statement in Lok Sabha regarding the Special Status issue. In response to a question by Jharkhand MP, Union Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation Rao Inderjit Singh conveyed that there is no question of according Special Category Status to any new state in the current circumstances. This statement only irked TDP MPs who kept saying since the past 14 months that Centre is considering Special Status for AP.

While responding to the tricky questions of media persons, JC Diwakar Reddy said: “Even Pawan Kalyan wants Special Category Status. What did he say? TDP MPs are good for nothing! What should we do other than pleading the Centre, staging protests & disrupting the Parliament proceedings? If he isn’t happy with our efforts, Let him do what he is capable of doing and we are willing to move ahead in that direction”.

The centre’s decision to deny special status to Andhra Pradesh has rattled off a series of intense political debates among the ruling and the opposition party leaders. While the TDP ministers are still hopeful of getting a positive nod from the centre, the party’s MPs seem almost certain of special status not being granted to the state.

Barely 3 days ago, A Police complaint was registered for alleged gangrape of a 22-Year-Old Girl by two unidentified persons at a hostel in Saravanampatti.

Preliminary Investigation revealed that the Victim was found in an unconscious state in her hostel room and was tied up in a chair at around 11 am on July 28th. Within hours after the incident, Parents have taken the girl to their residence. When Police went to the girl’s house in Erode for questioning, They began suspecting a foul play as she kept changing the versions. Finally, She confessed to have created a scene out of nothing after being informed about the seriousness of the case & consequences.

Actually, The Girl was in love with a man since the age of 14 but her parents were against their inter-caste marriage and making attempts to get her married by the end of this year. To make sure her parents willn’t trouble her anymore & allow her to get married to her lover, She chalked out a ‘rape’ drama and executed it but hardly anticipated the police interrogation. Cops issued a stern warning asking her not to resort to such mischief in future.
