Like a new joining in a leading political party, ace hero Prabhas is now busy meeting big brass of Bharatiya Janata Party including Prime Minister Narednra Modi and other biggies like Rajnath Singh. Well, it could be clearly seen that Prabbhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju is the man engineering our Baahubali’s meeting with these political honchos in Delhi. Well, what could be the motive behind these visits to politicians?

If we look at it from Krishnam Raju’s angle, it could taken like he is introducing Prabhas as his political heir to BJP top brass. But with Krishnam Raju’s position itself not clear in the party and BJP not making much moves to strengthen their presence in Andhra Pradesh.

Also with Prabhas having an illustrious film career in hand, there is now Krishnam Raju could declare him as a political heir now, which otherwise will invite unnecessary troubles. Maybe we can also say that even BJP is exploring the stardom of Prabhas, like they have explored the star status of various stars to help the party score big at vote box-office.

From Prabhas angle, probably we can say that he is taking a technically brilliant film like Baahubali to Prime Minister’s notice such that the film may get some tax exemption, or it may be sent as India’s official entry to Oscars. Because critics generally doesn’t recommend commercial flicks to academy awards.

In its 18th day now at box office, Rajamouli’s magnum opus has collected nearly 436.1 crores gross approximately from worldwide box office. With this happening, a virtual war has started between fans of different heroes and fans of Baahubali heroes as one section is now claiming that they have collected double than what the previous industry hit flick “Attarintiki Daredi” has amassed.

Humiliated by these comparisons even by media houses, few ‘intelligent’ fans of Pawan Kalyan have come up with a stunning explanation. “If Baahubali has collected 239.9 crores of “Share” so far from around the world including all the four languages of its release, then “Attarintiki Daredi” has collected 374.4 crores of share from Telugu version alone. Now tell which film is bigger than whom?” asked Pawan’s fans. A little math is needed to understand their claim and here it goes.

In fact, two factors that are impossible for other regular commercial flicks is that “Baahubali” tickets are sold at higher prices in first week and then the film got magnanimous release on part with Bollywood biggies. Also it got released in four languages- Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam at the same time.

They say Baahubali is made with 250 crores and Attarintiki Daredi is made with 50 crores budget. So, to level the inflation, let us multiply Pawan’s movie’s final worldwide theatrical “share” of Telugu version, 74.88 crores, with 5 and then the total is 374.4 crores. So, far Baahubali Telugu version has collected somewhere around 160+ crores share from worldwide box office.

This looks like a logical answer for people who are comparing Baahubali and Attarintiki Daredi. Anyway, Baahubali is a pride of Telugu cinema at any given day but that doesn’t mean one should humiliate other films’ collections.

International magazine Forbes has been singing praises on Rajamouli’s sensational creation Baahubali. After lauding Baahubali in series of articles, Forbes today focused on Young Rebel Star Prabhas who played the role of Baahubali.

Commending Prabhas’s performance, Forbes then went on to question Prabhas and wondered whether he would turn Hollywood Hero Harrison Ford or Elijah Wood. It said Prabhas is being compared to next Salman Khan in India and this is a big achievement for him.

Article advised Prabhas to choose stories judiciously and work with star directors rather than do mediocre films. Wonder what Prabhas does with his next.
