Mohan Babu’s Support For Super Star

While the entire nation was furious over Bollywood superstar Salman Khan over his controversial comments about the dreaded terrorist Yakub Menon who is awaiting the execution of his death sentence on 30th July, Salman found an unexpected support in our very own Mohan Babu.

Expressing his solidarity to Salman Khan, Mohan Babu tweeted, “A section of media and people should stop witch hunting @BeingSalmanKhan. He said nothing different from what many M.Ps have said.” While these comments raised a few eyebrows, Mohan Babu continued saying, “If he is wrong and so are all the parliamentarians who raised the same issue. Let this man enjoy his success.”

Mohan Babu is always known for his outspoken nature and he never minces his words even while speaking his mind over sensitive topics. Following the outbreak of public fury, Salman deleted his controversial tweets and even apologised for any unintentional misunderstanding. Meanwhile, a series of intense protests have been carried out in front of Salman’s house and BJP has even requested the Supreme Court to cancel Salman’s bail.

They Want Full Meals, Not Some Snacks

Ever since the news of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s special cameo in Ram Charan’s film with Sreenu Vaitla broke out, some Mega fans are excited to see Chiru on the silver screen after the 2009 blockbuster, Magadheera. However, there are numerous Mega fans are who highly upset with Chiru’s comeback to silver screen with a special appearance.

Most of these Mega fans are unhappy with Megastar making his comeback with a guest role are desiring to see Chiru burning the screens down with the best of his form in a fullfledged role and not in just a 5 minute cameo. These fans are even requesting the Mega family members like Allu Arjun and Varun Tej on social media, desperately requesting them to suggest Chiru against the special role. “We want full meals, not some snacks”, said a dejected Mega fan.

Allu Sirish, the aspiring hero from mega camp who is trying to prove mettle in always picked another glamorous supporter this time to cheer up his fans.

In his first film, Sirish romanced the beautiful Fair’n’lovely ad starlet Yami Gautham. Apart from looking beautiful, Yami is known for her cute performance. Later he got to share the screen with dusky siren Regina Cassandra, a bundle of talent, who has already started wooing with her scintillating display of acting prowess. The latest to join this young hero is Andala Rakshasi Lavanya Tripathi, who is another powerhouse performer with fabulous charms.

In the upcoming mega film that is being directed by Parasuram, Sirish likely to get paired with Lavanya who is busy with a horde of films including Nagarjuna’s Soggadu Chinni Nayana and Nani’s Bhale Bhale Magadivoyi. Hope the chemistry of Allu hero and Andala Rakshasi score big at box office. Both need a massive hit at the moment.

Asaduddin Owaisi is making news more often than not in the recent past with his controversial remarks on sensitive subjects.

Recalling the fact that former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi came to his party office in Hyderabad to seek the support, Owaisi said: ‘Right now, Few Congress Leaders are demeaning MIM. That day when Congress craves for alliance with MIM once again isn’t far away’.

The Hyderabad MP criticized BJP for honouring LK Advani with Padma Bhushan despite allegations of role in Babri Masjid demolition. At the same time, He commented that BJP would deny him even passport if even a petty case was registered against him. He also found fault with the manner in which the Babri Masjid case has been dragged on since 1992.

MIM Chief defended his comments complaining against the capital punishment awarded to 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon. He claims to have reacted in a similar manner even if a Hindu was in such a situation.

India Woke Up With Terror Attack, 6 Killed

In a major terror ambush in Dinanagar, Gurudaspur in Punjab early this morning, four passengers were shot dead when a group of terrorists opened fire on a Jammu bound Punjab Roadways Corporation’s bus. Following this attack, the terrorists also attacked the Dinanagar Police Station at 5:45 am, killing two policemen. One terrorist is reportedly shot dead by the security forces. Five live bombs on the Dinanagar-Pathankot Railway track have also been recovered by the police.

According to the reports, four suspected suicide attackers or fidayeens, dressed in Army uniforms, crossed the Hiranagar border in Jammu and entered India. Heavily armed with AK47 and other automatic weapons, they injured a hotel owner and hijacked his Maruti Alto and drove up to the police station.

At least seven civilians and three policemen are seriously injured in the terrorist attack. The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh are in talks with the local security officers to bring the situation under control. The central home ministry has also issued a high alert across all the borders. So far, no terrorist group has claimed responsibility of the attack.

Godavari Pushkaralu A Profit Venture

The just concluded 12 day Godavari Pushkaralu witnessed more than 25 lakh devotees in Rajahmundry alone. This sea of devotees in turn led to the flourishing of trade in the historic city. According to the local trade and district authorities, close to 250 crore transactions are estimated to have taken place during the event, while the overall expenditure is valued at 1600 crores.

The Maha Pushkaralu was a huge hit among the pan shops, departmental stores, cloth stores, hotels and lodges, tea stalls and breakfast parlours, which witnessed a huge number of devotees spending huge amounts during their travel and stay throughout the Pushkaralu. The authorities are estimating that each devotee must have spent at least 200 rupees towards his Pushkaralu expenses.

Coming to the reverence rituals at the Pushkar ghats and the Koti Lingala Revu, close to 55 lakh devotees offered Pinda Pradhanam at all the Pushkar ghats in Rajahmundry, whereas the number mounted up to 22 lakhs at just the Kotilingala Revu, which led the priests amass huge amounts as dakshina and the nearby stalls made a decent buck thanks to the devotees buying puja goods expenses.

This aside, even the transport corporation and the Indian Railways too made huge profits in terms of tickets, toll gate charges and VAT on diesel and other means.

Here’s the most precious photograph that freezes the three generations of the Mega family into a single moment. The photograph beautifully captures the Megastar Chiranjeevi and both his brothers, Naga Babu and Pawan Kalyan, along with their father Konidela Venkat Rao. Also in the picture are a young Ram Charan and even younger Varun Tej.

Going by Pawan Kalyan’s look, the photograph’s time period can be estimated to be around 2003-2004, after the release of Johnny when Powerstar tonsured his head. This is indeed a most valuable image since it is not quite often that the Mega brothers pose for the shutterbugs these days.

Speculation increasing on AP cabinet changes?

Speculation is increasing on AP CM Chandrababu Naidu going ahead with cabinet changes. He feels that some of his ministers in his cabinet is failing to take the government programs to the people.

With Godavari pushkarams completed, he is out to set his cabinet team right and make it more aggressive. Chandrababu made his cabinet based on caste considerations. Now after analysing the progress report of his ministers he is keen to rejig it.

It came out that Chandrababu expressed anger on some ministers after the progress report and he feels Peetala Sujatha and Deputy CM ,Home Minister Chinna Rajappa failed to be more aggressive. He is also unhappy with Palle Raghunadha Reddy.

Chandrababu is planning to include experienced and senior politicians in his team and that is the reason why he made Payyavula Keshav, Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu, Somireddy Chandra Mohan Reddy as MLAs. He may soon take them into his cabinet or else other important posts. If so Peetala Sujataha, Palle Raghunath Reddy may be out of the cabinet along with Chinna Rajappa.

Sapthagiri comedy major highlight in Tripura

Colours Swathi starer Tripura shooting is nearing completion. The makers have already completed the talkie part and are now going to being the songs shoot. They have planned to can these songs in Bangalore, Hampi and Badami.

The movie is said to be a sequel of Anjali’s successful horror-comedy, Geethanjali. They say Sapthagiri shot 25 days for the film and his track is the major highlight of the movie. Geethanjali fame Raaj Kiran is wielding megaphone for this film which is also a horror comedy.

Pooja Ramachandran will be seen in one more important role. Kona Venkat and Veligonda Srinivas provided the screenplay. The film is being produced under Crazy Media banner and J Ramanjaneyulu is presenting it.
