Venkatesh’s helping hand to his flop producer!
Victory Venkatesh’s Shadow is an action entertainer attempted by the actor after a long time. The movie went on to become a big disaster to the producer, Paruchuri Prasad. In fact, the producer had spent very lavishly for the movie.
In order to cover up the loss, Venkatesh had committed one more film for Parchuri Prasad at a reduced remuneration. His next film under the direction of Kranthi Madhav will be produced by Parchuri Prasad himself.
The film will have a formal launch on August 14th. They are planning to shoot the movie and complete in record time so that the producer will get maximum profits out of the film. More details of the project are awaited.
Errabelli to quit Politics?
The row over the Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav’s resignation seems to be an unending episode and is taking new turns. Talasani jumped into TRS and was gifted a cabinet post without actually resigning to the MLA seat which he won on TDP ticket. TDP Floor leader, Errabelli Dayakar Rao today challenged Talasani to win the by-polls.
He said that if Talasani wins the by-polls he will quit politics forever. What! Really? Errabelli should beware of the following Talasani has in Sanathnagar constituency and then make such powerful comments. In case if Talasani wins, what would be Errabelli doing? Will he resign? Definitely not! Talasani being in the ruling party and taking the support of KCR might surely win claimed a few source.
Errabelli also questioned the Speaker Madhusudhana Chary about why did he not accept Talasani’s resignation and the reason behind it. TTDP President L Ramana, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy protested against the Speaker for not giving any clarity about the resignation of the Commercial Taxes minister Talasani.
Errabelli further demanded even other MLAs who jumped into TRS and won on TDP ticket to resign immediately and contest in the by-polls. So, what do you think? Why is Errabelli making such comments when there are immense possibilities for Talasani to win in the by-poll?
Cylinder Blast At Godavari Pushkar Creates Panic
In a close shave a major tragedy was averted. The blast of a gas cylinder at a small hotel near Godavari Pushkar ghat on Wednesday evening created a panic. Fire caught with this blast and The incident was reported at a cool drink shop near Gokavaram bus stop. Alerted with this sudden mishap, government officials immediately rushed to the spot and took control of the situation. Fire engines came to the rescue and to control the fire.
However, no causalities were reported so far which led government officials to heave a sigh of relief. Going by the reports four people were injured and taken to nearby hospitals for the treatment. Six vehicles (Two buses, three bikes and one auto) were charred beyond recognition as they were engulfed in fire.
Since this mishap took place few metres away from the Pushkar ghat and very close to where large mass of pilgrims thronged, officials responded on urgent basis so that unfortunate events won’t happen.
CM Chandrababu Naidu too rushed to the spot and overseeing the helping measures. Naidu spoken to an eye-witness and took note of the reasons which led to this incident.
Nara Rohit’s Friend Rescues A Terminally ill Girl
Film stars taking part in various social causes and life-saving charity works is nothing new in Tollywood. In the process, they also inspire their fans and well-wishers towards being socially responsible. In one such incident, an NRI friend of Tollywood star Nara Rohith named Shankar Mangapuram from Columbus, USA, has donated 3 lakhs to a Hyderabadi girl named Akhila, who has been suffering from severe lungs related ailments.
Akhila’s poor parents admitted her to a private hospital, where the doctors said that she has to undergo two critical surgeries and the treatment would cost close to 4 lakhs. A popular TV channel aired Akhila’s plight and it moved Shankar so deeply that he immediately responded by donating a cheque for 3 lakhs. Shankar got his friend, Nara Rohit, to donate the amount to Akhila.
Speaking on the occasion, Nara Rohit appreciated Shankar’s humanitarian gesture and said that the NTR Trust too has been working towards such causes since a long time and that he too will continue to and take part in social causes in the future. Needless to say, the overwhelmed parents of Akhil couldn’t thank Shankar enough. Akhila also received financial help for several donors from the city.
GHMC’s cold water on KCR’s plans
The grand plans of Telangana government to take up the redesigning and changing nearly the whole road network in Hyderabad under the Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP), has reportedly waded into some rough weather with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) lifting its hands off.
Sources say that GHMC has indeed turned down the proposal for funding the high priority project. The SRDP involves building flyovers and improved junctions all over the Hyderabad city to ease traffic congestion. The municipal corporation has been hit by poor revenues and wouldn’t be able to take up the heavy financial burden it would be imposing on the civic body.
The GHMC has reportedly informed to the municipal administration and urban development (MA&UD) department that it should be funding the project including the costs for land acquisition as well as the administrative approvals for taking u first phase of project at a cost of Rs 5,000 crore.
As part of SRDP, GHMC was expected to take up construction of 20 flyovers and also road junction improvements at various locations including KBR Park junction, Road No 12 in Banjara Hills, Uppal, Bahadurpura, Rasoolpura, Cyber Towers junction and Film Nagar.

The magnitude of the success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is humongous and beyond description as a Telugu film mint over Rs 300 Crore across the globe in all languages. According to trade analysts, this is highest-ever collected Telugu film. Now that movie’s collections are gradually dipping, trade buzz is that which will be the next Telugu film to break the Baahubali box office record.
Buzz has it that there are no tough competitors to Baahubali record in near future. Noted distributors are opining that only Baahubali 2 could beat Baahubali The Beginning. “The collection reports of Baahubali are never-seen-before for a Telugu film which took the new high. It’s not easy for any other Telugu film to match the figure or cross the figure. Perhaps only Baahubali The Conclusion can only beat Baahubali,” commented a senior distributor.
“People who have watched Baahubali The Beginning gonna watch Baahubali The Conclusion for sure. In fact, more people watch it as the main story, film is second part. The real conflict between Baahubali (Prabhas) and Bhallaladeva (Rana) is in The Conclusion which will be an eye treat,” said another distributor. Looks like, Baahubali 2 only can beat Baahubali The Beginning. Let’s wait and watch.
Mega Star And Allus Take A Holy Dip
On the ninth day, Megastar Chiranjeevi and his brother in law Allu Arvind took the holy dip in the Godavari waters. Later, Chiru and Arvind performed the rituals of reverence of ancestors (pinda pradhanam). Arvind’s son and actor Allu Sirish too accompanied them.
The Godavari Maha Pushkaralu are coming to an end, but the enthusiasm and devotion among the devotees have not slowed down even a little. Already more than a crore devotees have thronged various ghats by the River Godavari and took the holy dip and performed several rituals to appease the souls of their ancestors. The Pushkaralu will come to an end on 24th July.
That Film Became A Castle In The Air
Much before Baahubali, the biggest topic for any film lover in Telugu arena used to be this film. Later Baahubali craze engulfed and then we have Srimanthudu taking over the mantle. But that biggest topic makes some guest appearances at times, and still it is like a castle built in the air.
You guessed it right. We are talking about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s landmark 150th film that is having no conclusion despite the name of Puri Jagan attached to it from a time. Recently Ram Charan stated that if Puri impresses them with second half then 150th film “Auto Jaani” will be kick started.
What if he doesn’t impress? Mega camp stated that they will come up with an announcement on his birthday day eve on August 22nd last year but that time he left to Vaishnodevi temple in Nepal. Later in December, an announcement is expected and 6 months later something has come out.
Now that a year has passed and his next birthday is approaching, Chiru is still not coming up with anything solid. Meanwhile his brother Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh 2 first look and the audio of his menalludu Sai Dharam’s Subramanyam For Sale will be released on August 22nd and that indicates that there is no solid announcement about 150th film. For now, 150th film became a castle in the air, let’s hope Chiru makes the castle true by shedding light on it.

Now, Enjoy KFC’s ‘finger licking’ Meals On Trains
After Dominos, World’s largest chicken restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has reached an agreement with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to be at the service of passengers on trains.
Currently, KFC’s service is available on 12 trains passing through New Delhi railway station. The service will be expanded to stations such as Kacheguda (Hyderabad), Visakhapatnam and Yeshwantpur (Bengaluru) in a span of 10 days. All that consumers have to do is to visit the official website of IRCTC or dial the toll free number to place an order.
In India, About 1.3 crore people travel on trains per day and hence leading Fast Food Chains competing to offer their services to passengers. They, however, have to deal with issues like late arrival of trains and prompt delivery.
Dominos which began its operations in February this year has expanded its service to 200 trains but the down side is managing to sell just 350-odd Pizzas until now. IRCTC is already holding talks with other food chains such as Pizza Hut & Subway.
When Dialogue King Cried Missing A Role..
Dialogue King Saikumar feels that he never got the due share in Telugu industry despite showing much talent and winning two Nandi and a couple of Filmfare awards. During the time he’s working as a hero, he struggled a lot as he has to pay unnecessarily a debt of 2 crores. Later on he turned to many character roles, but Saikumar feels that no role is etched with him on mind.
Sharing his thoughts, he stated how his career could have been if he started in a different league. “That was in 1989 and I was confirmed as villain in the debut flick of Ram Gopal Varma. Just a day before shooting, JD Chakravarthy replaced me and you know the applause that role received“, said Saikumar, about missing role in RGV’s blockbuster debut “Siva”.
So, what happened later? “I’ve called Ramu on phone and cried, broke down to tears, asking him why he has replaced me in the last minute“, he added. Whether RGV shared any reason for the replacement or not, Saikumar blames his fate for missing a chance in that iconic film as a villain.
He feels that the right appreciation for his Agni role in Police Story has come in the form of Andhra Police appointing him as ambassador for Vijayawada police. That way, the unseen ‘lion’ from the National Emblem turned nostalgic recalling his journey in filmdom.
Rajamouli Will Not Direct Star Kids?
Senior heroes Nagarjuna and Balayya are not worried about their careers anymore. Though Nag is busy filming two projects at the moment, he’s more focused on his younger son Akhil’s debut project. Similarly Balayya is getting Mokshagna groomed at a film school in Mumbai to pave way for his colourful and red carpeted entry into films. So, these big stars are now concerned about their heir apparent.
Earlier, when Nagarjuna picked Vinayak to launch his son Akhil, he has decided that the young chap’s second film would be either with Trivikram or Puri Jagan. Cine biggies however suggested Rajamouli’s name making Nagarjuna to think about roping the genius director. Similarly Balayya is also looking forward to launch his son Mokshagna under a big name and producer-distributor Sai Korrapati is heard suggesting him Rajamouli’s name.
Much to anyone’s amusement, Rajamouli will be free only in 2017 and Mahesh Babu is in the marquee now. Their project might get concluded only in 2018 and that will be long wait for Akhil and Mokshagna in case if they want Rajamouli at the helm. In that way, hopes of Nag and Balayya to get the Baahubali maker got water poured on them.
