Gunasekhar is making historical film ‘Rudhramadevi’ with Rana and Anushka as the lead pair. Allu Arjun plays the important character of Gona Gannareddy.

The film has completed its shooting and the director released the new poster of Allu Arjun in the character. Anushka is again playing the title role in this film.

This film is based on the Kakateeya dynastry that ruled the Telugus with Warangal as the capital. The film is releasing in Telugu and Tamil and also in 3D.

Seven months of makeup holiday has ended. Venkatesh is finally going to begin a new movie in the direction of Kranthi Madhav who recently directed the critically acclaimed movie ‘Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju’.

Nayanatara has been chosen as the heroine for Venkatesh and this is her third pairing with Venky after Lakshmi and Tulasi. She is yet to officially sign the movie though.

Since the release of ‘Gopala Gopala’ this January, Venkatesh kept himself busy attending family chores and trips. His father D.Ramanaidu also passed away recently, so he didn’t sign any movie in the last seven months.

Mahesh Babu was spotted pulling co-star Shruti Haasan’s leg in one of the romantic scenes in the song “Jatha Kalise Jatha Kalise…Jagamulu Rendu Jatha Kalise…Jatha Kalise Jatha Kalise Adugulu Rendu Jatha Kalise”. Although the song sees Mahesh sharing rare camaraderie with Shruti and hence he is seen dragging Shruti’s leg close to him, for many it come as a surprise, shocker.

Specially, the fact that Tollywood is hero-centric industry and Mahesh Babu is superstar, still the makers chose to keep this simple scene in the song. Kudos to Mahesh, he yet again proved his simplicity and down-to-earth nature with this gentle act.

Rendered by Devi Sri Prasad, the song was soothing and music to ears. Both Mahesh, Shruti looked brilliant in the number. The simple and understandable lyrics further heightened the song. Well done, team Srimanthudu.

Malkajgiri MP and Malla Reddy group of institutions chairman Malla Reddy, who was one of the guests at the audio launch of Srimanthudu, stunned one and all with his comments. Openly stating that he is great fan of Mahesh Babu, Malla Reddy wished that Mahesh’s upcoming film would shatter all the Box Office records and become most successful film in history.

“I’m great fan of Mahesh Babu. Not many are aware of this. I’ve been his fan since longtime. Mahesh Babu is the secret behind my victory. I became MP after watching and following Mahesh’s film. I’ve followed the plan in one of his films and became MP.”

Malla Reddy said that he himself approached Guntur MP Galla Jayadev and attended the audio function. “That’s why I only asked Jayadev Garu on my own and attended the event,” said Malla Reddy. While Malla Reddy was telling this, Mahesh was all smiles and greeted Malla Reddy by waving his hand from the gallery.

According to the latest filmmakers finalised the film’s heroine. Nandita who is currently starring in Nikhil’s Sankarabharanam will be romancing Nara Rohit in the film directed by Pawan Sadineni of Prema Ishq Kaadal fame. Music is scored by Shravan and film will be going to sets in September.

Actor Sudheer Babu is all praise of superstar Mahesh Babu. Going all out in praising Mahesh, Sudheer shared that the first look of Mahesh’s Srimanthudu grabbed many eye balls in the Bollywood. “The first look of Mahesh’s Srimanthudu was released when I was shooting for my Hindi (debut) film. I noticed that several people on the sets were in awe of Mahesh’s first look in the film and talking about the film,” corroborated Sudheer Babu while speaking at the audio launch of Srimanthudu.

Sudheer further added, “When I first heard of the title, I thought Mahesh would arrive in a BMW car or an Audi car. But surpassing the expectations, he simply came on a cycle ( in first look). If we come in a luxury car or wore ornaments, we think that car or ornaments add style, status to us. But it’s not for Mahesh. For him, if he comes in cycle, he brings style and status to the cycle.” Thanking Mahesh and fans for making Krishnamma Kalipindi hit, Sudheer said that Mahesh is class apart from others.
