Baahubali Now Smashes Hollywood Records
It’s only getting bigger and better for the India’s biggest motion picture, Baahubali. The film is a historic war drama and it has been received with humongous response from the audiences, who ensured the film clock phenomenal collections, erasing all the existing records across the country and even in the overseas.
This India’s favorite war epic has now shattered one more record, and this time that of a mighty Hollywood film. Baahubali is already rated with a solid 9.5 rating on world’s popular movie database, IMDB. What’s more special is that the film has even surpassed the Hollywood flick 300’s rating of 7.8 by a huge margin.
IMDB is the most trusted website for movie ratings, and this sensational achievement for Baahubali is indeed a matter of pride. Incidentally, even 300 is a war epic and Rajamouli himself was inspired from the film’s stunning action sequences during the making of Magadheera.
Bollywood Directors Upset with Praise for Rajamouli?
It’s Baahubali time. And the movie is all over the place. With mostly positive reviews across all the languages in which the film is released, legendary filmmakers are all praise for the auteur of masterpiece, SS Rajamouli. It’s turn of legendary filmmaker Shekhar Kapur who heaped praise on Jakkanna. Taking it to the new high, Shekhar went further and stated that there are no courageous filmmakers like Rajamouli in Bollywood.
“Congratulations @ssrajamouli on the amazing response to your film #Bahubali #Bahubalistorm .. look forward to seeing it in Los Angeles,” Shekhar wrote. He added, “Film makers from South India are showing far more courage than the North. Where are the courageous film makers like @ssrajamouli in Mumbai?”
With these comments coming in from none other than most-acclaimed filmmaker who is revered as one of the best filmmakers in Indian Cinema, naturally team Baahubali is riding high. However, it is said that few Bollywood filmmakers are pset with Shekhar’s comments. “If Shekhar wants to praise Rajamouli, it’s fine. But stating that there are no courageous filmmakers like Rajamouli in Hindi is definitely not expected from Shekhar,” commented a filmmaker from Bollywood on condition of anonymity. Looks like, Shekhar’s praise on Shekhar has not gone well with few Hindi directors.
Chiru’s Mega Entry into Jana Sena?
In what could be a big sensation in the political arena of Telugu speaking states, sources say that there might be some grand news coming up soon and this may happen anytime soon. Chiranjeevi is reportedly planning to resign from Congress party and take plunge into Jana Sena and ground work is being prepared.
If it happens, this may be indeed one more watershed moment in politics and may mark the indirect revival of Praja Rajyam Party, in the avtar of Jana Sena. Sources say that Pawan Kalyan has offered his full backing for his brother to make this impressive comeback which is indeed a tectonic shift.
There are also reports over why Chiru may have indeed given his full backing to Jana Sena silently in 2014 itself. There was also news that this would be a backup option for the Mega star in case Congress sinks to new lows in AP. This may indeed consolidate Kapu vote immensely.
Moreover, with decades old leaders leaving Congress, Chiru camp is reportedly of the opinion that there may be nothing wrong if he quits the party. One more interesting thing is whether this is being done with the backing of Bharatiya Janatha Party which would be delighted at stabbing TDP.

KCR Falls Sick Second Time
Telangana Chief Minister KCR has fallen sick again. And Telangana Cabinet meeting, which was slated for Saturday evening, has been postponed as CM couldn’t make it due to his sickness. KCR himself revealed that he is not well when he attended an event at Patancheru on Saturday morning. “Though I’m not well, I attended the event due to its importance,” said KCR earlier. However, exact reasons for KCR’s sickness hasn’t been revealed. But it’s said that it’s normal sickness and there’s nothing to worry.
Of late, Mr Rao is often going under weather. It may be noted that KCR earlier down with fever 10 days ago and couldn’t attend dinner hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan.
Meanwhile, Telangana ministers are also quite busy in making arrangements for Godavari Pushakarams 2015. Since most of the ministers are in districts and they had to come to Hyderabad for only cabinet meeting scheduled on Saturday evening and again leave for districts on Sunday to participate in Pushakaram arrangements, KCR apparently decided to postpone the cabinet meeting for now. He instead asked his ministers to make grand preparations for Pushkarams.
Employees Blackmailing For Baahubali Tickets?
Things are getting insanely crazy to obtain Baahubali tickets. We have already been witnessing the craze for getting the film’s tickets and how the distributors and exhibitors encashed the craze among the fans. But this recent act by a few government employees is a total shocker.
Apparently, the electricity board employees in Hyderabad have been requesting a prominent multiplex in the city to provide them Baahubali tickets. The multiplex couldn’t oblige their requests since the rush at the box-office counter and even online has been humongous.
Fed up after repeated requests, the electricity employees finally disconnected the power supply to the multiplex. Stunned by this unexpected act, the multiplex authorities had to run their shows on generators. The standoff is still on between the multiplex and the electricity board staff, since no tickets can be provided until this weekend.
Say Sorry First, TDP Tells Rahul Gandhi
Former MLA and Telugu Desam Party leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu slammed Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh state soon.
“Just to make Rahul Gandhi Prime Minister of India, Sonia Gandhi divided united Andhra Pradesh state. Rahul should first apologise to the people of Andhra and then enter the state. His trip is of no use as the Congress party is dead in the state,” said Gali.
On the ‘Special Status’ issue, he said that the Congress was not doing much in Parliament, and added that there was still hope on the NDA government.
TDP to throw garbage at KCR residence!
Telangana TDP president L Ramana has warned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that they would dump the stinking garbage at his residence if he failed to resolve the problems of the striking sanitation workers.
Participating in ‘Maha dharna’ staged by the striking sanitation workers at Indira Park here on Saturday demanding that the State government hike their salaries, Ramana has alleged that the Chief Minister was giving priority to the family rule only.
Leaders from Congress, TDP, CPM, CPI and YSRCP participated in the Maha Dharna and extended their solidarity with the striking workers. The sanitation workers across the State participated in the Maha Dharna in a big way.
Mahesh Babu Will Join Brahmotsavam From July 20
Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam’s shooting has been postponed to July 20th. The actual shooting was to start from the 10th of July but Mahesh Babu was still stuck with the work of ‘Srimanthudu’. So the regular shoot has been postponed.
Mahesh Babu is undergoing for makeover for Srikanth Addala’s film. He will use this gap for the makeover. Mahesh Babu will appear as suave urban youth in the film who romances three girls.
Srikanth Addala earlier presented Mahesh Babu as simple guy from rural background in ‘Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The film is said to be a clean family entertainer.

Baahubali Will Put Telugu Cinema On The World Map
Watching Baahubali on the second I would hate myself, but I was away from town in the coastal beaches of Mexico. However the frenzy was alive in the form of social media.
Periodical stories has been my passion, and having said that reserved my tickets for the Friday show. Not to miss out on the best seating, I would reach 2 hours prior to the show, with Dallas crowd you never know!
Recall the craze Apple created prior to the launch of iPhone, EAMCET results that would keep the students up and awake the whole night and the cricket match between India and Pakistan. Baahubali was no less in that league.
When I try to picture about Rajamouli, it brings esteemed thoughts about him, S.S (read: strived sublimity) Rajamouli who is synonym for success, for adherence, for assimilation yet his docile attitude talks leaps and bounds about him and his nature.
If you ask me to describe the movie in a single sentence I would say “Baahubali movie can be described as a movie with high adrenaline, desperation, curiosity, vengeance and a valiant script”.
The characters are etched in such a way you will be totally engrossed somewhere in a town called Maahismati. A desperate Ramyakrishna trying to retain a new born baby and announcing the name, a gratified mom in the form of Rohini, and an angelic Tamanna called Avantika all have compelling characters within their might.
With the current movies not giving their due recognition to the female artists, Baahubali is certainly a pleasant change. While authority, determination, dedication are in the form of female artists, valor, vengeance, virile are reserved for make artists aka. Prabhas, Rana and Sathyaraj.
Finding the right antagonist for Prabhas is a challenge especially in a historic movie like Baahubali, however Rana seemed to have hit the jackpot with the movie, his modulation, the histrionics and the stature or on par with Prabhas, however all the connoisseurs are reserved for Prabhas, who took a good 2 year break to deliver a movie that will become a colossal hit so much so that his later offerings, he would be called Baahubali Prabhas!
The ease with which he carries the movie on his shoulders rightly deserves the name Baahubali! Music by Keeravani certainly adds to the octane levels and makes you jump on your seats. Behold you are in Maahismati where the cruel king is Bhallala Deva!
If we fascinate Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter series open your heart and embrace Baahubali, for this will be the facelift of the Telugu and Indian cinema going forward. An action film truly deserves larger than life fights and Peter Hein wins the accolades here. Missed Anushka in this part, me too! But I am confident she will usher her grace in the upcoming version.
Finally for all those who feel the movie was abruptly finished, I am the last to agree with your statement. The beginning was appositely left off and would let you want for more. Why did Kattappa who is a loyal servant of the kingdom of Maahismati take the life of Amarendra Baahubali? How did Bhallala Deva manage to retain the kingdom, will Devasena take vengeance on Bhallala Deva? These are certainly questions for you, you and you.
An opulent offering from the director who time and again proved he is consummate. Jai Maahismati! Jai Rajamouli!

Kavitha expresses disappointment at father
TRS chief KCR has been facing flak in all corners, especially over lack of representation to women in key positions of the government including ministries.
This is being seen as sign of his feudal mindset, Kavitha Mp;where only the chief would decide posts and positions based on his convenience and fancies.
The daughter of KCR, Kavitha, who is also an MP is always at the forefront when it comes to protecting her father’s reputation and the style of admiration. But now even Kavitha seems to be facing flak with reports that she was cornered by elite women regarding this issue recently.
Kavitha was one of the participants at a FICCI (women’s chapter)meeting recently in a star hotel in Hyderabad where she was reportedly questioned in front of everyone over the lack of any representation for women in TRS ministry. Kavitha gave a very candid reply which has stunned political rivals as well.
She reportedly said that due to various caste equations and balances there is no chance for any women to get a ministry in TS but again added that this was again a disappointment honestly.
One has to appreciate Kavitha who might have landed up in a soup if she added supported the move. By honest admission, she has definitely raised her stakes as wise politician and as a n ideal daughter for her father.
