Mahesh Babu Honors Veers for their Outstanding Achievements
As part of the Thums Up Being Human VEER campaign, some special People with Disabilities (VEERs) who have realized their potential got the opportunity to meet the Tollywood Star, Mahesh Babu. Five VEER’S who have excelled in their fields in spite of their disabilities inspired the film star and the interaction was an emotional and enlightening experience for both the VEER’s and for Mahesh Babu.
In the first year of the campaign, over 1000 VEERs have received training powered by American India Foundation (AIF) and implementation partners, of which 573 have been employed with the help of 147 employers. The 127 VEERs employed in Hyderabad with the intervention of implementation partner, ACE Social Foundation, is a reflection of ThumsUp’s commitment to success for the disabled in Season-2 of their program.
Each of the VEERs present has overcome their shortcomings and excelled exceptionally in their fields through the training that has been provided to them via this initiative. Despite the obstacles they face in life, they have progressed significantly from when they first enrolled in this program undertaken by AIF.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Babu, said, “Despite their disabilities, the VEERS displayed a true ‘Toofani’ spirit and have done exceptionally well for themselves in their respective areas of interest. This initiative undertaken by ThumsUp is a great opportunity for people with disabilities to move forward and strive towards realizing their full potential.
After having met these five VEERS I am sure that there are many others like them that have received similar training and are working hard towards success. It is individuals like this that embody the famous saying ‘Where there is a will, there is a way’ and are an example from which all of us should learn.”

Campaign VEER aims to address challenges such as inclusive education and employment, skill training and development, and advocating for disabled-friendly technology. With the support of AIF, the campaign is working at imparting vocational training to these individuals and ascertains their requirements so that they can be made job-ready.

The Foundation has two focus areas: Education and Healthcare. To increase the reach and corpus of the Foundation, Salman Khan has undertaken initiatives such as Being Human Art; Being Human merchandise; and Being Human Geetanjali Gold Coins.
Will Attacks Begin on Andhras This Time?
Telangana CM KCR is a wise politician who is well aware what kind of actions would lead to what kind of consequences. It is this political acumen which has set the tone for a logical conclusion to Telangana
agitation, finally resulting in separate statehood in the year 2014, approved by most parties in India.
KCR is well aware what spelled the doom for Telangana agitation in 1969. The answer was mindless violence including physical attacks on Andhras in Telangana. Such was the situation then that many Andhra officers were burnt alive during those attacks in interior Telangana districts.
KCR ensured that violence doesn’t cross a point and there was a clear message not to repeat the mistakes of 1969 because that would only attract harsh measures from Delhi but not statehood. However now there are reports that such things may not be fully under the control of Telangana’s CM KCR.
With KCR losing grip over some splinter political groups that are loosely associated with Maoists and have extremist views, in case the trouble regarding section 8 implementation spills beyond control in Hyderabad and elsewhere, this time there is a fear that there may be indeed targeted physical attacks on Andhras and their properties. This may worsen the grip on the state for KCR though on the record they may put a brave face and blame Chandrababu for such things.

Auto Jaani will have a grand launch on August 22nd which happens to be the Birthday of Chiranjeevi. The regular shooting of the movie will begin in September. Puri will begin the shooting of his Loafer with Varun Tej from July 10th in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and will finish the film before starting Auto Jaani. Puri will meet Megastar in few days and narrate the second half of the film.
Young Starlet’s Nude Images Go Viral
Most upcoming starlets in the film industry desire to become overnight stars but here’s one young actress’ (name withheld) sad story of fame. The actress made her Bollywood debut with the controversial Indo-Hollywood production that was banned from being released in India. The film showcases an emotional lesbian relationship and several intimate scenes were shot on the actress and her partner in the film.
In one of the film’s scenes, the actress was shown sitting nude in a bathroom. Now, Images from this particular scene were captured as screenshots and were released online by unidentified miscreants. This is not the first ever case of an Indian actress being victimized for acting in nude scenes. Anyway, if Nitin got patents on using Pawan’s image, then here comes another young hero using Big Brother Chiranjeevi’s name.
Getting ready to hit screens with “Tiger”, Sandeep Kishan will be now paying tribute to Megastar Chiru in his upcoming movie. This young hero happens to be a fan of Chiru in real life as well and plays the same on silver screen for this film. Now coming to point, the film will have Megastar Chiru featuring in the title track of the movie.
What is said to be a first of its kind Megastar Mashup video, this will have iconic dialogue and visuals of Chiru from the past. “Bollywood is paying tributes to Amitabh and Rajnikanth, so why shouldn’t we respect Megastar with similar homage?” asks Sandeep.
“Tiger” is based on friendship of two guys among whom Sandeep is an orphan who names himself “Tiger” after Megastar’s role of same name in his 100th film “Lankeswarudu”. We have to see how far Chiru factor is going to bless Sandeep in this Tiger journey.
Super Hit Talk For Balayya’s ‘Praja Darbar’
Actor-politician Balakrishna’s ‘Praja Darbar’ was huge hit on first day as people thronged to participate in the event. As part of the first day, Hindupur MLA Balakrishna took petitions from the people of 38 wards in the constituency. On few problems, Balayya directly spoke to concerned government officials on spot and asked them to resolve the problems being faced by the locals.
Balayya spoke to municipal officials on the troubles affected in the Hindupur Municipality. He advised officials to take necessary arrangements to solve them permanently. The Praja Darbar is a two-day event. On Thursday, he will be focusing on the problems of people living in Hindupur Rural, Lepakshi, Chilamathur mandals.
On whole, the response for the first day of Praja Darbar is good and productive and many felt that it was huge hit. Well done, Balayya.
45 Girls Gang Raped At A Famous Picnic Spot
In a shocking scoop carried out by the Indore Police, as many as 45 girls were gang raped by a team of notorious rapists and goons at the iconic Kajligarh Picnic Spot, located 16 kilometers from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. What’s even more shocking is that these gang rapes took place within just 2 years, averaging 2 rapes each month.
Most couples throng to this secluded picnic area for privacy and end up becoming soft targets for the dreaded gang of rapists, who threaten them by filming their private moments and take turns to terrorize and rape the girls. Unfortunately, no victim came forward in these 2 years to register a police complaint in a bid to not attract public attention towards their horror.
These rapists would usually spot a couple, snatch away their mobile phone SIM cards, handcuff the men and then rape the girl, while one of the members film the entire crime. They then leave the victims by taking their addresses and contact details from ID cards and would repeatedly blackmail them for money.
Thaman completes Kick-2 Background Score!
Young Music Sensation Thaman had completed the complete back ground score work of Kick-2 and sent the film for Dolby Atmos works. Thaman had
himself revealed this update in Twitter. We are told that all the other post production works of the film are also nearing completion.
The makers are planning to release the film on August 15th or 21st. From being a one of the most awaited film of the year, Kick-2 reached the level of a film lying in lab struggling for release. The movie had suffered several postponements till date due to the poor response from the trade.
The movie’s budget had gone haywire beyond Raviteja’s market. Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead while Thaman composes the music. This is the first production venture of Kalyan Ram with another hero than himself.
It is interesting to note that it is Kalyan Ram who introduced Surrender Reddy with his blockbuster movie, Athanokkade. Vakkantham Vamsi who penned Kick is also the writer of this film.
Put KCR on Notice, AG Tells Governor
Going by the news reports, the Attoreny-General Mukul Rohatgi has advised Governor ESL Narasimhan to send a notice of Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act to Telangana CM KCR. Mr Mukul apparently told Governor to send a draft notification of Section 8 to KCR and asked him to take KCR’s views on it.
In his letter to Governor, Mr Mukul said that if the Telangana CM failed to respond, the Governor may issue the notification of Section 8 on his own. He stated that Governor might give three days time for Telangana government to respond and that too as per Governor’s discretion.
The A-G wrote, “Firstly, the notification which you wish to issue under Section 8 of the AP Reorganisation Act must be preceded by consultation with the council of ministers of the state of Telangana. You may send the draft notification to the CM of Telangana and ask for his views. You may, in your discretion give three days to respond, where after you may issue the notification as per your discretion. If valuable comments are received from the Chief Minister, you may incorporate the same in the notification, but the final word is that of the Governor.”
He further added,”The draft of the notification may be prepared by your advisers. You may take care to direct not only the officers and employees of Government of Telangana, but you may direct the government itself.” The Attoreny-General clearly told Narasimhan that Governor’s word would be final in this respect.
With this, it’s likely that Section 8 would come into force. It needs to be seen how the Telangana government is going to tackle the issue now. Let’s wait and watch.
Won’t Leave Hyderabad Till New Capital is Built
In a significant political statement, Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Minister CH Ayyanna Patrudu made it clear that the government of Andhra Pradesh won’t leave joint capital Hyderabad until the new capital city of the truncated state is built. Ayyanna Patrudu made the aforementioned comments in Eluru of West Godavari district after holding meeting with district in-charge minister Peethala Sujatha, TDP MLAs and MPs of the district.
“Governor has to do equal justice to both the States. He has to resolve the issue without any prejudice. The onus to keep both the states in harmony lies on the Governor,” said Ayyanna Patrudu briefing the press. He alleged that Governor is not acting fairly.
“Until the new capital city (Amaravathi) of AP is built, we will stay in the joint capital Hyderabad. Don’t try to muzzle us as it’ll not keep your respect. If you have your police force, we have our own police force. If you have ACB, we do have our ACB,” Ayyanna added. At one point, he challenged the Telangana government to do “whatever” you want by stating that AP is “prepared” to face them.

He is the most famous Powerstar Srinivasan, a comedy hero whose hilarious films are popular for his trademark spoofs and satirical punch dialogues. As per the latest buzz from Kollywood media, Powerstar Srinivasan will soon be acting in a spoof film based on the controversies surrounding Superstar Rajinikanth’s Lingaa.
Previously a medical practitioner and a financier, Srinivasan entered Tamil films and soon became a hugely popular comedy star for his sensational cameos in films like Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya, starring leading Tamil comedy star Santhanam. Powerstar also acted in Shankar-Vikram’s Pongal blockbuster, I.

Telangana Youth Beats Andhra Lecturer?
In an unfortunate incident, an assistant professor belonging to Andhra Pradesh was assaulted by a miscreant at JNTU Hyderabad in Kukatpally on Wednesday. Allegedly, the attacker was a youth leader of Telangana. It all started when the assistant professor questioned the security personnel at the University entrance over the cutout placed the campus entrance.
When the security personnel is trying to call on his superior on the matter, in between, a youth leader intervened into the scene, abused the victim and attacked him physically. The assistant professor was Rajasekhar who is native of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh. He is currently doing his PHD under a professor of JNTU Hyderabad. As the assistant professor try to take the appointment of Governor Narasimhan (chancellor of universities) to report the incident and lodge a complaint, the staff of Raj Bhavan reportedly asked the victim to come on Thursday.
Police has ordered for a probe in the matter. Investigation is likely to reveal whether the victim’s claims were true or not.
