As the much awaited Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput wedding draws closer, there are constant speculations about who is going to make it in his guest list.

For those hoping to see his gorgeous exes troop in to Shahid’s wedding, he won’t be inviting any of his former girlfriends to the wedding.

He has been singularly unlucky in love and he doesn’t want be reminded of those moments on his special day. Also, it will be an awkward situation for Mira too.

There were rumours about Shahid’s ‘Rangoon’co-star Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor being sent an invite. Kareena has gone on record to say that she is quite happy to hear about the upcoming wedding. Shahid and Kareena dated each other for three years before separating in 2007.

Before his wedding bells rang, Shahid was linked to a series of Bollywood actresses, including, Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Ileana D’Cruz to name a few.

Shahid and Mira met through the religious group Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Rumour has it that couple got engaged on January 14, Makar Sankranti. It was initially stated that the couple was to tie the knot in June, however that turned out to be false.

Actress Taapsee Pannu, who has ventured into wedding planing along with her sister Shagun Pannu, has lent a helping hand to one of the NGOs in Delhi for a community wedding and says that she is “glad on the project getting successful”.

“From setting up mandaps to all arrangements, we managed the entire set up. We were glad on the project getting successful but the feeling of euphoria was from the blessing we received,” Taapsee said in a statement.

Community wedding is a custom majorly followed in India is an event where various couples are married at single platform.

Vicky Donor, a story of a Sperm donor was a blockbuster in Bollywood. The Telugu remake of the film is in cards for a long time. Earlier it was said that Madhura Sreedhar will be making this remake as Dana Karna.

But for some reason, it did not happen. Now they say, Akkineni production house Annapurna Studios has acquired the rights for the Bollywood shocking hit Vicky Donor directed by Shoojit Sircar.

It is said that they will be remaking this Bollywood blockbuster with Sumanth in the lead role. Director for the project is not confirmed. Sumanth was supposed to do a project with director Siva Nageshwara Rao and the film was announced during the beginning of this year.

The film was also tentatively titled Money but it was shelved due to some creative differences in the team.

Our readers are aware that Nara Rohit will be acting in a film titled ‘Savitri’. The film will be launched on 27th of this month in Hyderabad and the regular shooting of the movie however will begin only in September.

Nara Rohit is expected to be seen in a six pack look in this film which has talented director Pavan Sadineni will be wielding the mega phone. The film which is produced by B Rajendra Prasad and Shravan scores the music.

There is a good history behind the title ‘Savitri’. There was a project of Victory Venkatesh and Director Teja few years ago. The project was in news for few years but never really materialized.

Recently Ram Gopal Varma started a film titled ‘Savitri’ in which a kid fancies his teacher. After protests against the title, the film title was changed to Sridevi.

Akhil Akkineni is shooting for an action sequence in Bangkok for his debut movie. The shooting there will go on till July 13th and after that schedule, 80% of the movie will be complete. The remaining portions of the film will be completed in Hyderabad.

The makers are aiming at Dussehra release for the movie. This is likely to be the costliest ever film of a debutant. The movie has got tremendous expectations particularly after that two making videos released so far and the onus is on Vinayak to give him a perfect launch pad as he did for Bellamkonda Srinivas with Alludu Seenu. Sayesh Saigal, the granddaughter of Bollywood Superstar Dilip Kumar is playing the female lead in this film.

SS Thaman and Anoop Rubens will be jointly handling the music department. Hero Nithin is turning producer with this film under his family’s Sresht Movies Banner. The film will have story penned by ‘Damarukham’ fame Veligonda Srinivas.

King Nagarjuna’s untitled bilingual film with Karthi will begin its next schedule in Europe from 10th July. The shooting there will go on for 10 days. The movie shooting was put on a brief break in the Summer and is finally resuming with this Europe Schedule.

On the other side, The movie is in trouble after Karan Johar had purchases the remake rights of the French film, The untouchables. The bilingual film is based on that French film and Karan Johar is likely to serve a copyrights notice to the makers.

Nagarjuna will be seen as a patient suffering from a deadly disease while Karthi will be his care taker. The film is having music by Gopi Sundar of Ustaad hotel. Potluri Vara Prasad is producing the film under his PVP Cinemas banner.

Yesteryear actress, Meena’s little daughter, Nainika is all set to make her film debut in a movie starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay. The actor will be acting in a film directed by Atlee after his current project, Puli.

Vijay will be seen as a father of little kid in the movie and the kid’s role is very crucial in the movie. The makers are in talks with Meena and she is interested to give nod for the project as it is big film and the character is good too.

On many occasions, Vijay say Meena is his favourite star and so the actress could not refuse as a result. Meena in acted many movies as child artist. In case every thing happens right, the daughter will also make her debut as a child artist as mother.

Hansika has made a good career for herself and she has also got fame and money. On the other hand, Hansika has also helped orphans and is at a good stage in her career.

But she has been avoiding media as she is being questioned by media about an MMS and her love affair with Simbu. Apparently, she does not want to talk about them and she is putting up a condition that she will talk only about her film during promotional work.

It is known that Hansika and Simbu broke up and she says that she will talk to media only if the MMS topic is not brought up during the press meet.

Is it Puri Jagannath or VV Vinayak that will direct Chiru’s 150th film? The confusion is yet to get cleared.

In the meantime, producer of Chiru’s 150th film, Ram Charan has been reportedly advised to be cautious about the project by two of his extremely close well-wishers, according to industry sources. They are Pawan Kalyan, his uncle and hero Nithiin.

Pawan was reported to have asked Charan about Puri starting a film with Varun Tej even though he was supposed to be working on Chiru’s 150th film’s script.

And Nithiin is also believed to have advised Ram Charan to think twice before going ahead with Puri Jagannath as the director.

But Varun Tej is the nephew of Chiranjeevi and son of Naga Babu. Did Naga Babu give the green signal to ‘Loafer’ without taking all this into consideration? So did Puri Jagan rope in Varun Tej with the mega family’s blessings?

Another rumor is that since Chiru finally decided to make VV Vinayak as the director, Puri was given the opportunity to direct Varun Tej, as a consolation.

Finally, Bollywood actor Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the movie, ‘Second Hand Husband’. However, even before her movie has hit the silver screen, this girl is making headlines.

The reason is a recent gossip that did the rounds according to which; she got the offer as heroine only because of Salman Khan’s friendship with Govinda which made Salman recommend her name.

Tina has denied the rumors and said that she got the opportunity on her own merit and not because of Salman’s recommendation. Naturally, her frankness has created a furor.

Salman Khan’s fans are upset at her comments. But why should they be upset if Tina was speaking the truth?
