Can India ever be free from Corruption?
Corruption is the root cause for the country’s many problems and there is a saying that both giving and taking bribes are culpable. When one comes to know that with the help of black money stashed in Swiss Banks, India could have been the richest nation in the world and there wouldn’t have been any poor person dying of hunger.
Many parties, especially Narendra Modi’s BJP promised to bring back black money and even transfer money into people’s accounts. But nothing of that happened and it is ironic to see Congress party which got punished for various scams demanding explanation from the government.
With expectations belied, people are wondering whether India can ever be free from corruption. People earlier thought they have an alternative in form of Aravind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party but the party instead of providing corrupt free rule in Delhi, is promoting anarchy which each of its ministers involved in fake degrees.
Almost all states in India, which are even ruled by regional parties face corruption charges. Karunanidhi DMK, Jayalalitha’s AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, Mamata Bannerjee’s TMC in Bengal, Mulayam and Akhilesh Yadav’s SP in UP, Nitesh and Laloo Prasad Yadav’s JD and RJD in Bihar etc are rampant in corruption.
In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, KCR’s TRS and Chandrababu’s TDP too face severe corruption charges and not to be left behind is leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP and his dad, late YS.Rajasekhar Reddy. Under these circumstances, India can never be corrupt free, unless until social awareness about the ill effects of corruption becomes strong.

Distributors who bagged the rights of both the films are marketing both the films together. Exhibitors are very eager to bag Baahubali and make big money with the film. However the distributors are imposing a condition that Baahubali rights will be given only if they take Rudhramma Devi too.
For instance, Devi Films bagged the Ceeded rights of Rudhramma Devi and some districts in Ceeded of Baahubali. They are selling both the films together. Needless to say Rudhramma Devi is not free but the price is included in Baahubali rights. Baahubali is releasing on July 10th and Rudhramma Devi may be released in August.
Fans matching Prabhas’ Revelations With Story Leak
For the last couple of days, Baahubali team is extensively promoting the film’s Hindi version in Mumbai. While the Hindi presenter Karan Johar is strict with his promotional strategies, Baahubali team seems to be going the extra mile, given the fact that the promotional campaign is yet to begin in Telugu.
However, it is the statements being given by the Baahubali’s lead actors Prabhas and Rana that are surprising everyone slightly. Speaking to the press couple of days ago, Rana said that Baahubali is a story of two brothers fighting for the kingdom’s throne. And yesterday, it was Prabhas’ turn to surprise the fans even further. In his words, Prabhas said that he plays two roles, Baahubali and Shivudu his son.
Well, just these small revelations were enough for enthusiastic fans who have started to match them with the tentative story that was ‘leaked’ a week ago, Prabhas and Rana play the roles of estranged brothers who fight for powers over Mahishmati Kingdom. Rana then gets Baahubali killed in a conspiracy and his son is rescued by a villager played by Rohini. The child grows up to become Shivudu, who in turn fights for his father’s dream.
Dust In south, Gold in Bollywood: Eros’ journey
After collecting nearly 145 crores at the Indian box-office and earning more than 82 crore profit with a profit percentage of more than 250% with the film Tan Weds Manu Returns, all eyes have been cast on the film’s distribution house, Eros International. Trade analysts can’t stop raving about the acumen with which Eros claimed its success in Bollywood. However, things are totally opposite down south for Eros.
There was a time when the film trade used to comment that whichever Telugu and Tamil film the leading production and distribution house, Eros International, touches will turn into ashes and unfortunately, it used to be the final result. Unlike in north, Eros’ journey in south has been excruciatingly disastrous with almost all the film biting the dust.
After a tumultuous entry into the southern film scene with Suriya’s Brothers, Eros entered Telugu and continued its disastrous streak with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 1 Nenokkadine and Aagadu. And again in Tamil, the double nightmares haunted Eros with yet another Superstar, Rajinikanth, in Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa. And in 2015, within just 1 month, Eros bagged to washouts in Uttama Villain and Suriya’s Masss.
While all the films they worked with in south had huge stars and top directors and humongous story setups, Eros seemed to have learnt its mistake and dealt with a simple romantic entertainer in Tanu Weds Manu Returns and struck gold. Looks like Eros discovered success in being simple and successful. Will it apply the same policy in south?
Sachin’s Bharat Ratna Under Threat?
The Madhya Pradesh High Court has admitted a PIL which was filed against the Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar for allegedly misusing the coveted Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian honour, which was conferred on him in 2013. In the petition, it was alleged that Sachin was promoting commercial brands in his advertising contracts.
Based on a petition filed by a Bhopal resident VK Naswah, the Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court directed the assistant solicitor general to find out if there are any guidelines prescribed by the Supreme Court on the use of award of promotion of commercial brands by the Bharat Ratna awardees on television and other media.
In his petition, Naswah said that a discomfort regarding Sachin’s grave misuse of Bharat Ratna is prevalent in many sections across the nation. The petitioner further said that Sachin to return the Bharat Ratna on moral grounds or the government should take back the award. Currently, Sachin signed contracts with close to 12 brands and has been promoting them as their brand ambassador.
Will These Relationships Stand The Test Of Time?
Affairs in the film industry are quite common and hence nobody takes them quite seriously. Of late, there have been rumors that Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are getting married and that their respective parents have given the green signal as well.
The same is being said of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. In the past, Ranbir Kapoor was in a relationship with Deepika whereas Katrina was seeing Salman Khan. Both the relationships failed the test of time.

Latest Rumour On Baahubali
Each day a new rumour comes out about Baahubali. It is being said that the first half has been changed a bit and it has been edited accordingly.
Apparently, according to original script, Prabhas’s role was of a shorter duration and that it was not as important as the audience might have liked it. So, the scenes shot for the second half are being added to the first half and the script is being changed accordingly.
There is another rumour doing rounds in Tollywood. Many are wondering if Baahubali is being made in keeping with the image of Prabhas or Rana. In fact, in Tirupati, during the audio release function, there were more flexis of Rana than Prabhas.
Also, Rana has been given more prominence while promoting the film. Well, it is obvious that there will be many rumours when it is a huge project. Else, there wouldn’t much hype for the film, isn’t it.
T-NEWS worried on Freedom of Speech!
Weekend Politics have started again from yesterday onwards. AP Police started their operation on “Vote to Note” case. Ramana, ACP of Visakhapatnam reached T-NEWS office and issued notice to its CEO Narayana Reddy as per the complaint given by advocate NVV Prasad in Vizag. He gave complaint on Telangana CM, YSRCP President Jagan, Sakshi and T-NEWS for degrading the respect of AP Chief Minister CBN by telecasting audio tape between CBN and Stefenson.
By this case took new political turn. Since last two days, there were no actions from both sides. Everybody feel that both parties compromised on this case. But suddenly AP Police entered into the scene and started their operation 11.45 pm on Friday. AP Police asked T-NEWS to give explanation within 3 days. T-NEWS employees opposed the notices and shouted against AP Chief Minister CBN.
It’s strange that TRS sponsored T-NEWS has bothered on freedom of speech. T-NEWS and Namaste Telangana feel that CBN acts against to the fundamental rights. They considered that this notices to whole people of the state but not to T-NEWS only. They forget that AP Government not stopped T-NEWS telecasting. Notices issued for violating programme code under section 19 of the cable network act. But telecasting one news channel stopped since last one year in Telangana for unknown reasons.
