Amazing: ‘Fish Rain’ Thrills AP Village
An unusual fish rain in the Gollamudi village of Nandigama Mandal near Vijayawada thrilled the villagers early in the morning of Friday. Hundreds of fish ‘rained from the sky’ and fell in the fields of the villagers, who collected them enthusiastically from hundreds of acres of their waterlogged fields and took them home.
According to the villagers, fish belonging to the Vallaga species and in varying sizes of 4 to 6 inches fell from the clouds along with the heavy downpour in the Friday morning. The jubilance was such that the villagers even informed people belonging to their neighboring villages, who rushed to the fields on the outskirts of Gollamudi.
According to an environmentalist, fish rain is due to the displacement caused due to rain and strong gales or tornados. The water from nearby rivers, canals, and fish tanks get displaced due to heavy wind and that fish does not fall from the sky. Apparently, similar fish rain occurred in the 1970s in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram and often occur in foreign countries.
Actor To Promote Vijayawada’s ‘Nalugo Simham’
Dialogue King Sai Kumar has teamed up with the Vijayawada City Police as a brand ambassador. At an event organized today, the Vijayawada City Commissioner AB Venkateswara Rao thanked Sai Kumar for accepting to be the brand ambassador of the City Police. As a part of his association with the city police, Sai Kumar will be launching an app titled ‘Nalugo Simham’ on 21st June.
The Nalugo Simham app has been specially designed at the behest of Vijayawada Police for the safety of city dwellers within the limits of the Vijayawada commissionerate and Sai Kumar will exclusively endorse the app to make it reach a wide section of the people.
Though famous for his power-packed dialogues, Sai Kumar is particularly popular for his cop roles in films like Police Story and AGNI IPS etc. The name of the app Naalugo Simham has been derived from Sai Kumar’s famous dialogue ‘Na topi pai kanipinche moodu simhalu nyaayaniki, chattani ki, dharmaani ki pratiroopalaithe… kanipinchani aa nalugo simhamera ee police ‘ from the iconic blockbuster film, Police Story.
Mango Proof: Pawan Okay With Chandrababu
At the time when his fans and the political circles have been constantly abuzz desperately asking him to come out of his unbearable silence over the murky cash for vote scandal and the following phone tapping row which involved the TDP leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, his supporter and admirer during the 2014 general elections, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan sent him a box of mangoes.
Pawan sending mangoes to his close friends and well wishers is nothing new and recently, director Bobby and Pawan’s staunch fan Nithiin were surprised by Powerstar’s mangoes. However, it is Pawan sending mangoes to Chandrababu at this point that has taken everyone by surprise.
The mangoes were sent along with a note that read “To, Shri N Chandrababu Naidu Garu, Warm Greetings and delicious mangoes for a memorable summer.” For the past few months, Pawan has been under fire from opposition and even some of his fans who have been asking him to react on the issues like land pooling, special status to AP and even the recent cash for vote scandal.
All his detractors find him liable in these issues since he extensively campaigned for Chandrababu in 2014 elections. However, this mango box gesture from Pawan shows that all is well between Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu.

Video Talk: After Dance, Akhil stuns with fights
After the recent ‘leaked video’ in which the handsome dude from Akkineni family, Akhil Akkineni, mesmerized everyone with his amazing dance moves, the youngest Akkineni is back once again with a short video snippet which showcased a few stunts that Akhil performed in the recently concluded Spain schedule.
The video displays some of Akhil’s daredevil stunts performed all by himself and without a body double, apart from the usual stunts involving the wires. Some of the shots showcase the intensity with which Akhil performed certain stunts and he surely promises the Akkineni fans a King-size treat when the film releases later this year.
Even the special video teaser which was released on the eve of the Akkineni hero’s birthday displayed what sort of screen presence and stylish body language he possesses. Needless to say, fans kept on raving about Vinayak’s vision and also Nithiin for not leaving any chance to project Akhil as the next superstar from Akkineni family. Icing on the cake is that the video is made under the supervision of Rajamouli’s son Karthikeya, with whom Akhil made several short films prior to his debut.

She has quite a few films on hand and right now she is cast opposite Balayya. But Anjali has turned a thief. Well, not in real life, but for Nikhil-Kona Venkat’s Sankarabharanam.
Apparently, she will play a Chambal dacoit gang’s leader in the film. The film also stars Nandita as the other heroine. So when one wondered as to what Anjali has to do with the film, this news came out.
The film has been inspired by the hit Hindi film Phas Gaya Obama and the film’s shooting is being done in a remote village in Maharashtra.
Actress Continues Shooting Despite Cold Stroke
Actress Yami Gautam was recently shooting in Ladakh for her next with T Series inspite of suffering from a severe cold stroke.
Due to the extreme weather conditions, the actress was not completely fine and was advised by the doctor to take complete rest. But despite being medically unfit, Yami went ahead and shot for the entire shoot schedule, said a statement.
She did not wish to stall the shooting and she was ready on set before anyone else the very next day as she wanted the schedule to move as planned.
“There was a major altitude difference at pangong lake accompanied by strong winds and snowfall ! The entire crew had to have brandy to keep ourselves warm but despite that I collapsed to cold stroke…,” said the actress.
Rajamouli’s hand for Akhil Akkineni’s debut!
While his father is the most in-demand director in Tollywood, SS Rajamouli son, Karthikeya is also making his presence felt in the industry. Karthikeya was very much involved in the production activities of Baahubali. And his company, Showing Business is involved in several films in Telugu film industry.
One such film is Akhil Akkineni’s debut movie. Showing Business specialises in creating ‘Behind The Scenes’ and ‘Making Videos’. So far, The company had worked for the films like ‘Manam’, ‘Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya’, ‘Oka Laila Kosam’, ‘Oohalu Gusagusalade’ and ‘Linga’. The recent making video of Akhil debut movie was made by the company itself.
The making video is very interesting some very good visuals of Spain and the shooting there. Even Akhil was so impressed with their work. He thanked them on Twitter while posting the making video. Karthikeya seem to be as creative as his father and making his mark on the industry in his own way.
Can India ever be free from Corruption?
Corruption is the root cause for the country’s many problems and there is a saying that both giving and taking bribes are culpable. When one comes to know that with the help of black money stashed in Swiss Banks, India could have been the richest nation in the world and there wouldn’t have been any poor person dying of hunger.
Many parties, especially Narendra Modi’s BJP promised to bring back black money and even transfer money into people’s accounts. But nothing of that happened and it is ironic to see Congress party which got punished for various scams demanding explanation from the government.
With expectations belied, people are wondering whether India can ever be free from corruption. People earlier thought they have an alternative in form of Aravind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party but the party instead of providing corrupt free rule in Delhi, is promoting anarchy which each of its ministers involved in fake degrees.
Almost all states in India, which are even ruled by regional parties face corruption charges. Karunanidhi DMK, Jayalalitha’s AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, Mamata Bannerjee’s TMC in Bengal, Mulayam and Akhilesh Yadav’s SP in UP, Nitesh and Laloo Prasad Yadav’s JD and RJD in Bihar etc are rampant in corruption.
In Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, KCR’s TRS and Chandrababu’s TDP too face severe corruption charges and not to be left behind is leader of the opposition Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP and his dad, late YS.Rajasekhar Reddy. Under these circumstances, India can never be corrupt free, unless until social awareness about the ill effects of corruption becomes strong.

For instance, Devi Films bagged the Ceeded rights of Rudhramma Devi and some districts in Ceeded of Baahubali. They are selling both the films together. Needless to say Rudhramma Devi is not free but the price is included in Baahubali rights. Baahubali is releasing on July 10th and Rudhramma Devi may be released in August.
