The ongoing controversy regarding Revanth Reddy video tapes are taking a new turn with each day which is proving to be no less a thriller for the people of two states. Today, Revanth was sent to remand until June 15, after 4 days of ACB Custody.

Meanwhile, AP cabinet had passed a resolution urging central intervention in Hyderabad and requesting Home ministry to announce rules regarding law & order in Hyderabad that has to be placed under the Governor of two states. This is further provoking Telangana, sources say.

Today in the evening, Governor Narsimhan carried a crucial report which he is expected to submit to the Centre. Sources say that as per the reaction of TDP leaders who have carried out anti-Narsimhan campaign, it may be sensed that this may be carrying information against Naidu.

If this excitement isn’t enough, various political analysts are now using Cash-for-vote episode to fill columns with their analyses– some pro-KCR, some pro-TDP and some pro-People. These are like reviews that talk about many whole movie but can’t predict what box office numbers will be like.

Even Aarthi Agarwal’s death hasn’t pulled anyone towards movies except for the fact that they felt sad for half-a-day. Former PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, who joined the YSR Congress party a couple of days ago, has finally made an entry into the Lotus Pond, the official residence of party chief Y S Jaganmoan Reddy, whom he had criticized several times in the past.

Botsa chose Lotus Pond to mount a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu  on the Cash for Vote issue and demanded a CBI probe in to the matter. He questioned how the people could live with dignity if the Chief minister himself resorts to corrupt practices.

He said that Naidu has excelled late NTR in action.  Naidu was telling that his phone was being tapped.  He asked why Naidu never said that the tone in the tape released was not his. He also said that the Chief Minister has not condemned the Revanth Reddy affair.  He said that in cases of corruption, a common man and a chief Minister are equal and if necessary, their phones could be tapped.  Chief Ministers cannot have special protection in the matter, he added.

The former Minister said that if Naidu had  really not committed any offence, he should fight legally; but he should not commit more mistakes to cover up his mistake and thus bring down the reputation of the State.

In the yesterday’s Maha Sankalpa Sabha organized by the Andhra Pradesh government, Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna enthralled his fans in his typical style. Praising his brother in law and AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Balayya mouthed one of his most famous dialogues from the blockbuster hit, Simha, ‘Charitra srushtinchali anna meme…danini tiraga raayalanna meme’.

Balayya said these lines as he remembered legendary actor and former CM of AP, NT Rama Rao, and compared Chandrababu to NTR and said that Babu’s governance is on par with that of NTR’s and that his bava is relentlessly striving to make AP a world class state. Needless to say, Balayya fans and TDP cadres who were present at the meeting were amused by Balayya’s enthusiasm in praising Babu.

Speaking further, Balayya also said that every citizen must take part in the capital construction and at least donate one brick towards building Amaravati on par with other world capitals. Balayya also said that the Amaravati construction is a blessing for us to show the Telugu pride and might to the world.
