Sharwanand is always known to attempt different subjects and encourage new comers. After a long wait, he recently bagged the first commercial success of his career with Run Raja Run, however he still refuses to leave the path of experimentation.

It is said that Sharwa is going to introduce an ad film makers, Bhaskar with his next film which is already in shooting mode. Niveditha Thomas, the Malayali actress who played Kamal Haasan’s daughter in Papanasam, the Tamil remake of Drushyam, is romancing the actor in this film.

Besides this film, Sharwa also have another film in Merlapaka Gandhi’s direction and UV Creations’ production which is also in production. We will hope that both these films will prove to be lucky for the talented actor.

If the rumours doing rounds in Filmnagar are to be believed, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh-2 may undergo a title change. Rumours are rife that the makers of the film are not ready to shell money for the makers of Sholay who have the copyrights of the title, Gabbar Singh.

They say they want to name the film, Sardar instead. The authenticity of these rumours can not be verified. The regular shooting of the movie recently began and the first schedule is complete. The scenes with out Pawan Kalyan are canned in this schedule.

Power fame Bobby is wielding megaphone for this film. Anisha Ambrose is selected as the female lead in this film. Pawan Kalyan’s close friend Sharath Marar is producing the film under his North Star Entertainment banner. Devi Sri Prasad who scored the music for Gabbar Singh will also be the music composer for this prestigious project.

Charmi was with out a proper hit for a very long time and she pinned all her hopes on her upcoming film, Jyothi Lakhsmi with which she is also turning in to a producer for the first time. The film is about a sex worker, Jyothi Lakshmi who decides to leave her past behind and lead a normal and routine life with her husband.

Charmi says the film is very close to her heart and she had lost 11 Kgs for the role in this film. The movie is releasing this Friday. Jyothi Lakshmi witnessed some very good business due to the Puri’s brand associated with it.

Puri Jagannadh is one of the most in-demand directors in Tollywood despite the movie results. However he came out of the cocoon and is directing a low budget film, Jyothi Lakshmi starring Charmi. Puri himself revealed that the movie is inspired from a novel titled ‘Mrs.Parankusam’ which was written by ace writer Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy at the age of 19 years.

What can be very embarrassing ahead of a big fat audio launch, all the eight songs of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali music album were leaked days ahead of the event. What is further disappointing is that the initial response for the leaked audio is not at all positive.

On the other side, Baahubali team is probing in to how the songs got leaked. It is already known that a little video clip of the movie was leaked several months ago and it was revealed that it is the work of a VFX company employee. Similarly they suspect an insider’s hand in this leak.

On the other side, huge arrangements are being made for the audio release event of the movie on 13th of this month in Tirupati. Both the Telugu and Tamil audios will be releasing that day. After the huge response for the theatrical trailer of the film, the makers are said to be planning one more trailer on that day.

Ace film maker Rajamouli is trying his level best to please Prabhas who were kept in waiting for more than 2 years for Baahubali. He cancelled the audio function in Hyderabad for the sole reason, Police are not permitting big fat audio launch event. He even arranged a press meet and explained fans the reason of the event postponement even though it is not necessary.

And now the audio launch is confirmed in Tirupati. In order to avoid the mess of duplicate passes, Rajamouli is printing the passes in Bangalore so that they are not duplicated and sold in black market.

These type of malpractices earlier resulted in stampedes at audio functions and thereby killed fans in some occasions. Printing passes in Bangalore minimizes the chances of passes duplication. We should really appreciate Rajamouli for caring fans so much.

The audio launch event of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is creating a sensation of sort. The audio launch event created a new record by fetching 1.5 Crore from the telecast rights (by TV5). And the Telugu and Tamil version audio rights were bagged for a record breaking 3 Crore by Lahari Music.

And now the frenzy is still on. Sponsors are queuing in for the audio launch event. The makers have cut deals for a whopping 70 Lakh Rupees so far and there are lot more offers still pending. The event will take place on 13th of this month at Taraka Rama grounds, Tirupati.

Baahubali is the biggest costliest film ever made on Telugu Screen. Three years of hard work had gone in to the project and the movie is already creating never before seen records in Telugu film trade. The movie is made in two parts and the first part will be hitting the marque on July 10th.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Kick-2 which was on a postponement spree seem to be have got no respite. Already the budget of the film shot up beyong Raviteja’s market, but Surrender Reddy is still burning hole in Producer Kalyanram’s pocket in the name of reshoots.

The makers earlier planned to release on June 26th but now Gunasekhar’s Rudramma Devi is releasing on the same day. Releasing in July or August will mean that it will have to clash with Srimanthudu or Baahubali. So future seem to be bleak for Kick-2.

On the other side, the business of the film is very dull as the makers are quoting exorbitant prices. This situation prevails even after the movie has got decent hype in trade. Also Surrender Reddy had just delivered a 50 Crore share film and Raviteja is on a high with two back to back hits – Balupu and Power.
