Bollywood heroine for Brahmotsavam!
We already know that Rakul Preet Singh will be playing the lead role in Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam. The makers are said to be looking at a Bollywood heroine for the second female lead in the film. It is said that they are in talks with Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara (Barbie Handa).
We have learnt that she responded positively but is yet to sign the dotted line. However this is not the debut film of Mannara in Telugu. She already made her debut in Tollywood with Sreerama Chandra’s ‘Prema Geema Janta Nai’.
She made her Bollywood debut with an erotic entertainer ‘Zid’. The movie is expected to start rolling from July 10th in Vijayawada. The film will be canned non-stop till completion and will be stated for release on January 8th, 2016 on the eve of Sankranthi 2016.
Srikanth Addala earlier directed Mahesh Babu’s super hit film, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and so expectations are riding him on this project.
Can’t Be Compared To Shankar: Rajamouli
Tollywood’s hotshot director Rajamouli has millions of fans who are passionate admirers of his creative visualization and also the high budget extravaganza in his films. So far in his career, Rajamouli has been enjoying an envious record of not seeing a flop. On several occasions, Jakkanna is compared with Shankar, who is also known for his high budget films loaded with high standard visual effects.
Couple of days ago, Rajamouli was in Chennai for the theatrical trailer launch of Baahubali’s Tamil version. During the press conference that followed, Rajamouli responded to the comparisons with Shankar with his typical modesty. Politely saying that he cannot be compared with the legendary Shankar, Rajamouli said that he didn’t even know what a green mat was when Shankar was already dabbling with visual effects and CG in his early films.
However, Jakkanna expressed his happiness that his name is taken after Shankar whenever there is talk about making grand visual effects based films on epic scales and lavish budgets. Both Rajamouli and Shankar are indeed masters in their own way and they both share similar records of successes and penchant for grandeur and VFX loaded films.

TV Anchor Exposes Husband’s Illicit Relationship
A TV anchor named Padmavathi who works for a local cable channel, has red handedly caught her cheating husband in the presence of media. The cheater husband was in his girlfriend’s place when he was caught. However, the enraged husband, Satish, showed no guilt and started attacking his wife brutally.
Padmavathi has been married to Satish ten years ago and the couple has three children. At the time of marriage, Padmavathi’s parents gave Satish nearly 10 lakh rupees and gold as dowry. The greedy husband still used to torture his wife for more cash and started to avoid her since the last three months in the name of business trips.
After spying on her husband for a few days, Padmavathi learned about Satish’s illicit relationship and decided to teach him a lesson. When Satish started to attack her, police were called in and they took him and his girlfriend into custody and booked him under section 498 A of the dowry act and harassment at the AS Rao Nagar Police Station.

Some fan on YouTube has made a brilliant cut using visuals from Pixar’s 600 crore budgeted animation movie ‘Cars 2’. For every single shot of Prabhas growing up as a kid, the waterfalls scene, his romance with Tamanna, introduction to suffering, revelation of war scenes and a final shot, this new video is brilliantly substituted with visuals from that animation flick that resemble similar scenes. Those who liked the hero-car Lightning McQueen from ‘Cars’ will be enjoying this Telugu version trailer of Baahubali-Cars to the sky.

I’m Ready to Die for My People: Chandrababu
Andha Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is accused of playing pivotal role in Telangana’s note-for-vote scandal, made a highly emotional speech on Monday at the Maha Sankalpa Sabha held in Mangalgiri of Guntur district.
Breaking his silence, Naidu strongly retaliated to the allegations levelled against hiim by the Telangana government and lashed out at his counterpart KCR. “I’m ready to die for my people. But no one can scare me. Nobody can try to muzzle me by using cheap tactics like phone tapping or fabricating documents and cooking up fake documents.”
Chandrababu said that “inefficient” KCR is trying to defame him by all means and claimed that it hardly has any influence him. Chandrababu pointed out that how the government of Telangana could “tap” AP CM’s phone calls.
In a stentorian and impressive speech, Naidu attacked all his opponents including Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, TRS supremo KCR and YSRCP president YS Jagan. Dubbing Sonia as a “cheater”, Naidu alleged how she bifurcated the state unilaterally on the formation of Italy Day. Chandrababu didn’t spare Jagan Reddy and questioned his credibility recalling the disproportionate assets cases he have been facing and his jail term.
Guntur Talkies Is Full Of Bombs!!!
Has director Praveen Sattaru realised the potential of hot bombs for his philosophical scripts? Despite winning National Award for his movie “Chandamama Kathalu”, truth remains that the film tanked at box office while critics have written it off. Probably he has learned lessons the hard way and is now coming up with a package of bombs.
Praveen’s upcoming flick “Guntur Talkies” is being made at a brisk pace. Basing on a nutty-gritty subject that could push audiences into deep thinking and kick-ass entertainment at the same time, this film has some high octane scenes. Coming to bombs, sexy siren Shradda Das is playing a crucial role in the movie, while Jabardasth fame hot anchor Rashmi Gautham is also showing her talent. If these two bombs are not enough, our director roped in Madhu Shalini and couple of other beauties too.
Going by the leaked first look of the film, we wonder if this film is a satire on film industry itself with the story revolving around few controversial girls of the tinsel town. Some say, this film has some inspirations from hotties who ventured into prostitution after their film stint misfired. That’s another bomb!!
Audio Tapes fiasco: Black days are back in AP & TG
For several decades, the Telangana sympathisers nurtured severe dissent and hatred for the leaders belonging to the Andhra region for injudiciously exploiting their resources and curtailing their identity and self respect. Apart from the leaders alone, the animosity slowly spread to the people of Andhra region during the 4 year struggle for a separate Telangana.
Political leaders belonging to all the parties in Telangana spewed venom on Andhra people and in retaliation, the Andhraites to counter attacked with intense hatred. The animosity between the Andhra and Telangana people rose to such dangerous levels that there were numerous incidents of physical attacks between people belonging to both the regions.
However, the war of words and animosity lessened down soon after the separate Telangana was formed last year. People from both the states, in no time, got busier with their lives in the newly formed states, with several challenges ahead. A much needed friendship and cordial ties have also been developed over the last one year between the commoners in both the states.
Now, with the Telangana government allegedly leaking the audio tapes reportedly featuring AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in conversation with TRS MLA Stephenson in the infamous cash for vote scandal, Telangana political circles and TRS sympathisers started attacking Babu for his dubious ways of strengthening the party’s roots in Telangana.
In its counter attack, the AP government released TRS Minister KTR’s alleged telephonic conversation with TDP MLAs from T-region discussing about trading them for an amount of 3 crores each. This got the TDP sympathizers aiming their guns at the TRS supporters and this soon led to a murky war of words.
Furthermore, the AP Communication Advisor Parakala Prabhakar and KTR mutually alleged that the respective governments are trying to instigate a negative vibe between the people of both the states. Even though the leaders were quick to make these statements, the damage has already been done and it has become more a fight between the commoners in both the states, than the leaders themselves.
At this juncture, one can only hope that better sense prevails among the AP and TG people, who should realise that these leaders, for their political gains, can go to any extremes and will eventually be set free without any legal hassles and it is only the common people who will end up losing their peace and normalcy in their lives. People, wake up and take it easy!
