The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) on Tuesday demanded an inquiry into the defection of MLAs to the ruling party and the amount of money spent by the TRS to woo them. An inquiry alone would expose the real face of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, it said.

TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy and working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka charged Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao with purchasing the MLAs from other parties to decimate the Opposition.

Bhatti Vikramarka said since TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red handed in a sting operation by the Anti-Corruption Bureau, has emerged as a “Donga”, but the TRS leaders, who splurged money and positions to attract MLAs from other parties  were going scot-free as ‘Doras’.

He also said a day will come for the ‘Dora’ becoming a “Donga” soon. He said the Congress party functioned as a responsible Opposition during the last one year and scored 100 marks.

He alleged that the TRS MLAs were not happy with the KCR’s style of functioning as they were not getting CM’s appointment even after three months and feeling suffocated.

Although reports emerged in the media alleging there were tapes in ACB’s possession containing voice conversations between Chandrababu Naidu and Stephenson, those tapes have not been made public and neither has Chandrababu’s name been mentioned as an accused or a suspect.

Political circles are going into overdrive with the gossip that Venkayya Naidu has interceded on Chandrababu’s behalf to prevent those tapes from being given to the media.

Apparently, Venkayya is on equally good terms with both Chandrababu and KCR and he spoke to KCR to spare Chandrababu any embarrassment.

KCR is believed to have acceded to Venkayya’s request keeping in mind the fact that a quarrel with a Central Minister will work to his own disadvantage.

Just days after Telangana MLA Revanth Reddy was arrested in the cash-for-vote scam, the Chandrababu Naidu government in Andhra Pradesh has found itself embroiled in another controversy.

Andhra Pradesh’s women and child welfare minister Peethala Sujatha on Wednesday reported that a bag with Rs 10 lakh was found outside her house in West Godavari district of the state.

Sujatha, who also holds the portfolio for the state’s mining industry was alleged to have accepted Rs 40 lakh bribery from mining contractors.

Along with the money, a hall ticket of a DSC (District Selection Committee) woman aspirant was found outside Sujatha’s residence.

The minister, however, denied any role in accepting the cash and alleged conspiracy to tarnish her image.

Earlier, the minister invited the wrath of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu when she accepted a gold waist belt offered by a group of realtors.

There are many stories floating around about the talk that Payyavula Keshav and Dhulipala Narendra had with Revanth.

It is known that Keshav and Revanth have been close friends for a very long time and their relationship is well-known.

One section of the media believes that they could have discussed how Babu will bring Revanth out. Also, it is being said that he had asked Revanth to resign and that Revanth had refused.

Some say that the meeting was about assuring that Revanth would get all support from the party. Meanwhile, it is being said that Revanth’s brother Kondal Reddy is being taken to Babu.

Kadapa TDP leader Satish Reddy has cleverly used the chance given by his President CBN for his political mileage. Satish Reddy was the TDP nominee in Pulivendula since 1994 general elections and lost the election every time against late YSR and Jagan. Satish Reddy was received 45K votes which was highest number for TDP in any general elections in Pulivendula Assembly segment.

Every time CBN has announced Satish Reddy to bring the confidence among the cadre in the district. To strengthen the party, CBN gave MLC offer to Satish Reddy and made him as Deputy Chairman for AP Legislative Council.

Satish used every chance given buy his boss and trying to approach people in Assembly segment. He took away farmers from Pulivendula and organized meeting with CBN for water to save their crops.

Despite many troubles from YSR family, Satish Reddy was contested in Pulivendula to save the prestige for TDP. He took oath among the people on the eve of Nava Nirmana Diksha in Kadapa. He never go for “Hair Cutting” till the water reached to Gandikota Project.

The project was constructed along with right canal of Penna River that flows through Kadapa district. If Pattiseema and Gandikota finished, TDP will get fruitful results in Rayalaseema. Satish Reddy is thinking in that way and plan for 2019 general elections.
