Organisers of Miss World pageant honoured Aishwarya Rai for her commitment to the crown ‘beauty with a purpose’ she won two decades back. Organisers of the Miss World contest while deciding on the winner of Miss World 2014 at the 64th edition in London, lavished praises on Aishwarya branding her as the most successful Miss World. 

Aishwarya graced the occasion along with her mother Vrinda, Husband Abhishek Bachchan and her three year old daughter Aradhya. 22 year old Rolene Strauss won the Miss World 2014 crown while Miss Hungary Edina Kulcsar and Miss United States Elizaeth Safrit came first and second runner ups. .Miss India Koyal Rana can make it only to the top 10.

Irrespective of the nature of hit Boyapati Sreenu has scored with ‘Legend’ this year, the repetitive and exaggerated content he picks is haunting him tooth and nail. Over the board punch dialogues and redundant bloodshed portrayed by this talented director have started boring not just audiences but heroes and producers too. But he wants to bounce back strongly with his present film being carved with Alludu Seenu in the lead. 

When this director of Bhadra and Simhaa is knocking doors of star heroes to narrate sorties, producer Bellamkonda Suresh offered him a chance to direct his son Srinivas’ second movie. Also they have finalized milky beauty Tamanna as the lead girl and started shooting. Somehow, we are not hearing any single piece about this flick from months.

Touted to be a typical action entertainer in Boyapati style but laced with tight-screenplay, the film is expected to make news for Sankranthi. Did, something went wrong? Unit members say that Tamanna should return from Baahubali’s Bulgaria schedule to resume shooting of Alludu Seenu’s second movie. But gossip mills found out that the shoot got halted midway from a time as Bellamkonda is unable to come out of financial crunch. 

After burning hands with Alludu Seenu and Rabhasa earlier, it seems like he is yet to recover. Keeping Bellamkonda aside, halting the flick will be a big blow for Boyapati, provided with the fact that his ‘routine’ content is not winning him chances.

Veteran Tamil director K Balachander is critically ill. The octogenarian filmmaker has been admitted to Kaveri hospital in Chennai and his condition is stated as serious. He is 84. Balachander is in Intensive Care Unit and is constantly supervised by team of doctors. Balachander is the man who introduced superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to the Tamil cinema and world of Indian cinema. 

He has directed highly critical-acclaim films like Maro Charitra, Akali Rajyam, Apporva Sahodarulu, Anthuleni Katha, Idi Katha Kaadu, Rudraveena. He also ventured into film production and established Kavithalaya Productions. His name also rings bell in Hindi film industry as he directed films like Ek Duuje Ke Liye and Ek Nai Paheli. 

Balachander also acted in several films and is playing significant role in Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film Uttama Villain. Balachander has directed over 100 films. His last film was Uday Kiran-starrer Poi in which he was seen in a cameo appearance. Balachander’s son Kailsam Balachander (54) died four months ago due to lung-related issues.

Akkineni Nagarjuna and Amala are thrilled about their son Akhil’s upcoming debut as a leading hero on silver screen. Fans of Akkineni khandan has another reason to celebrate now.

Coming to Amala’s debut, to speak more precisely, we have to say that she is making a full pledged re-debut into Hindi films soon. Like Akhil sparkled with a cameo in Manam, his mother Amala too sprang a surprise for Hindi audiences, 23 years after she left Bollywood as a heroine. In 2013, Amala was seen in a cameo in an art-flick ‘Listen.. Amaya’, but that hasn’t won huge attention. 

Big news is that, she will soon make a commercial debut as character artist on Hindi screen through a guest appearance in director Mohith Suri’s ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani’. Technically, mother Amala and son Akhil will be making their fantastic full pledged debuts in 2015.

Finally the closing ceremony for 2014 is inching closer. If we recall the best grossing Telugu films of the year, then it is Sytlish Star Allu Arjun who is topping the charts. His ‘Race Gurram’ directed by Surrender Reddy collected nearly 55+ crores, standing as No.1 grosser of the year while only Balayya’s Legend and Charan’s Govindudu Andarivadele (not a profitable venture for some distributors) made past 40 crores. 

All biggies like Rabhasa, Aagadu, Power fell flat on their face without entering any of these big clubs. Before the year ends, debuting Mega hero Varun Tej and lover boy Nitin are arriving with Mukunda and Chinnadana Ne Kosam. Both the films look like subtle romantic subjects that suit the nature of this winter quite well. 

For his dashing looks and handsome screen presence Varun started creating tremors already, garnering huge hype for his debut movie. On the other hand, Nitin is on a role with hattrick hits at box-office as he is expecting a Toli Prema kind of blockbuster this time with Karunakaran at the helm. 

By any chance if these two flicks amass huge positive talk on first day, then there will be a chance of scaling those big crore clubs. Could Varun achieve such a roaring success? Is Nitin’s stamina enough to pull such a terrific blockbuster? Will these two youngsters touch Race those might clubs occupied by the leading heroes. ? Only time has the answer!

Telangana TDLP (Telugu Desam Legislature Party) leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao has paid tributes to the mortal body of music director Chakri at Film Chamber. Expressing condolences to his family and music industry, Errabelli lauded Chakri’s effort and pivotal role he played in music industry. Errabelli has demanded the Telangana government to set up Telangana Music Academy in the new state. 

Through media, he asked CM KCR to name this music academy on the name of Chakri so that it’d inspire many other budding singers and musicians in Telangana to nurture their talent and achieve their goals. Errabelli’s demand comes just hours after KCR termed Chakri as “Telangana Bidda”. Let’s see how T-government reacts to Errabelli’s fresh demand.

Shocked! Well, that’s absolutely true! The Tollywood King, Nagarjuna expresses his regret for ‘Tollywood’. He says that the word Tollywood should not be used because it is something like a copy from Hollywood. He made these comments during one of the episodes of the Small Screen Biggest Game Show ” Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu”. He said that he rather prefers to call it “Telugu Film Industry” than calling it Tollywood.

King Nagarjuna said “I’m not in favour of calling film industries with Tollywood, Kollywood, Mollywood, Sandalwood. Because, Hollywood is a place there and applying the same here is not apt. Nag also added that many actors don’t like to be called as Tollywood, Kollywood and so on. They rather prefers being addressed as the Telugu Film industry, Tamil Film Industry.In the past even Kamal Hassan made the same comments about being called as Kollywood.

It seems that a Music Company owner has lodged a complaint against the Music Director Ilayaraja. This incident happened in Chennai, where Ilayaraja was the first one to complain about the AGI music company that was copying his music compositions.

Ilayaraja spoke to the Chennai Police Commissioner, Mr. George directly about the Music Company’s mischief. The Chennai officials are now investigating regarding the complaint and suddenly the Music company tool lodged a complaint against Ilayaraja. The Music company explained that Ilayaraja signed an agreement with them in 2007 and again signed on another company’s agreement without the earlier one getting expired.

The AGI Music Company owner alleged that the police had been violating rules by not allowing to sell other movie CDs too. So, what do you think? Did Ilayaraja really cheat the Music Company in terms of the agreement?

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan faced the heat of an imposter.Hrithik filed complaint with Mumbai police commissioner alleging that an unidentified person created a fake email account– hroshan@email.com — and interacting with his fans by impersonating him. In his complaint Hrithik said that he was using an official email ID hroshan@mac.com for the past several years to interact with his fans.

He said he interacts with fans through this account, and talks to his celebrity fans. It was recently he came to know about an imposter who is using a fake email account hroshan@email.com .The imposter luring many of his fans by posing like Hrithik. Hrithik in his complaint said how his name has been misused. 

The actor mentions the case of one such young girl, who has sent many of her nude photographs and video clips to the imposter account, thinking she was sending it to Hrithik. He is worried that such photographs might tarnish his image. Police are likely to register an FIR in this regard in a couple of days.

Daggubati scion Rana was linked to Trisha for a long time. It was widely rumoured that they will also be marrying. But we do not know what happened later between them and they parted ways and Trisha is now looked closely with Tamil Producer Varun Maniyan. Music Director Chakri made many sensational and everlasting songs that remain in hearts our forever. According to sources, it seems he did not get up in the morning and so his wife rushed him to the hospital nearby. The doctors declared that he is dead and the reason is he suffered a heart attack. 

This is definitely a bad news to the industry people who have been in grief starting from the death of Janakiram, yesterday was veteran actor P J Sharma and today Chakri. It is known that Puri Jagannadh and Chakri have a great bonding. In the early stages, they did many films like Bachi, Itlu Sravani Subramanyam, Idiot, Amma Nanna Oo Tamil Ammayi, Sivamani, Desamuduru and so on.

It seems that he yesterday night he told his feeling of missing Puri and want to see him. Well, may be God has already sent him a message about this and so wanted to meet his dear friend, Puri Jagannadh! But, we definitely miss his musical wonders. May his soul rest in peace!
