Rajnikanth Quashes All Charges!!!
Responding on the plagiarism accusations over his upcoming flick ‘Lingaa’, Superstar Rajnikanth has simply quashed all those charges claiming that that his movie’s script is quite original and innovative. A small-time film maker KV Ratnam alleged that story of ‘Lingaa’ is a direct lift-off from his movie ‘Mullai 999’ that revolves around the life of an engineer named Colonel John Pennycuick, a British engineer behind the construction of Mullaperiyar dam in the border of Tamilnadu and Kerala.
“I reserve my right to proceed against the petitioner as his copy-cat allegations on Lingaa damaged my fame, name and tarnished my imageâ€, stated Rajnikanth in his counter-petition to Court as he was asked to respond by a Madurai court regarding the petition filed by KV Ratnam. “Lingaa is an original story written by Mr Ponkumaran and further developd a new high by director KS Ravikumarâ€, he adds.
Also Rajni mentioned in his petition that a film needs to have continuous 13 scenes from a script to be considered as a rip-off and also subjects of national interests like Mullaperiyaar dam count be copyrighted to some individual. ‘Lingaa’ is aiming for a December 12th release on Rajni’s birthday eve though the release was not sure for now.
Where Is KCR Without NTR?
Heated arguments are going on in the assembly, as the centre decided to name the domestic terminal after former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Lot of political analysts were surprised to see that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is also opposing this decision.
Every one knew that KCR joined in Telugu Desam Party from Congress in 1983 with the blessings of NTR. Though KCR lost his first election, he got a second chance and proved his worth. It was NTR’s decision to make KCR as Minister Of Drought and Relief. Many people believe that the TRS chief was so thankful to NTR and that is the reason why he named his son KTR.
Telangana TDP leaders are saying that the Chief Minister is just trying to bank on this issue and divert the public attention from power crisis and farmer suicides. On the other hand, TRS cadre is stating that they are not opposed to NTR’s name but they say that there are many prominent leaders from Telangana and centre should have taken them into consideration.
Is KCR scared Revanth Reddy?
Telangana TDP MLA Revanth Reddy has expressed his displeasure over Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao by questioning whether the latter knew the meaning of ‘Operation Blue Star’.
It may be recalled that the Chief Minister warned on Thursday that TTDP MLA Revanth Reddy will face ‘Operation Blue Star’ if behaved as he wished. Addressing the media at TTDLP office here on Friday after the House was adjourned to Monday, Revanth Reddy alleged that the Chief Minister was misusing his power and said the Chief Minister was shaking as to what he (Revanth Reddy) will reveal in the House. “Afraid of me, the Chief Minister has launched bad campaigning against me”, he said.
He also questioned KCR, who always describes himself as a leader of the Movement, whether it was correct on the part of the latter. Asking the Chief Minister to announce where from the investments put in TV and newspaper, which were owned by the TRS, have come, Revanth Reddy said he will reveal what was there in power projects and cement companies.
He questioned KCR whether there were no investments of Andhra people, in the companies belonging to the latter. “Don’t you give us time to speak on DLF issue in the House? You are only doing mono action in this regard”, he said and demanded that the Speaker initiate steps to allow the Opposition parties to speak in the House.

TDP MP Kesineni Nani who is representing Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh made some shocking comments today. He said some bad elements in the party are trying to tarnish his image and get him kicked out of the party.
He said many are working against him and they worked against him so that he do not get MP seat. He said thanks to Minister and MP Sujana Chowdary, he became an MP. This sent shock waves in party cadre. He said Sujana Chowdary convinced Chandra Babu, president of TDP and CM of Andhra Pradesh to give him ticket to contest elections.

Today’s assembly sessions saw harsh statements from Congress leaders of Mahabubnagar like DK Aruna and Chinna Reddy who questioned TRS over injustice to South Telangana in terms of new projects, development works and ministries. Chinna Reddy questioned why should they be fine with the water rejuvenation mission for lakes called Kakatiya Mission when they have only been ruled by Gadwal, Vanaparthy and Kollapur Samsthanams.
They asked TRS government over being insensitive to sentiments of South Telangana districts like Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar. In reality, there is a significant difference between the culture and approach of north and south Telangana so this would be a challenge to KCR.

United States President Barak Obama will be India’s chief guest for the country’s Republic Day celebrations next year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is cementing his relationship with Obama after coming to power forgetting all the acrimony when US rejected his visa continuously when he was Gujarat CM, extended invitation to US president.
