Pattudala Faces Hurdles Due to Low Promotion

Typically, superstar-driven films create immense buzz and anticipation ahead of their release, but this is not the case with Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film, Vidaamuyarchi, which has been dubbed into Telugu as Pattudala. The film is set to hit theaters on February 6, with theatrical arrangements already in place. However, there’s a noticeable lack of excitement surrounding its release.

The primary reason for this is the minimal promotional campaign, which has resulted in low awareness among the audience. Despite a visually impressive trailer and teaser showcasing intense action sequences, there hasn’t been enough follow-up promotional material to generate significant hype for the film.

While Pattudala may enjoy a solid opening in Tamil, thanks to Ajith Kumar’s star power, its reception in Telugu and other languages is expected to be slower, due to the lack of effective marketing. The success of the film in these regions will heavily depend on word of mouth, which will be crucial for its box office performance. If the film receives a strong positive response from audiences, it could pick up momentum.

Ajith Kumar, known for his reluctance to promote his films extensively, may not be keen on promotional events, but it would have helped if the filmmakers had organized some promotional activities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to build anticipation and boost the film’s visibility ahead of its release.
