Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is currently shooting for his high budget period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. After that, he will be acting simultaneously in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ and ‘The OG’ directed by Harish Shankar and Sujeeth respectively. The pooja ceremonies of both these films were done in a grand fashion and the regular shooting is expected to come start in the next few months.
Apart from these three, he is also going to act in a remake of ‘VInodhaya Sitham’ which was a big hit in Tamil. There are reports about the film’s pooja ceremony being held on 14th February but it did not happen. While a few say that the arrangements will be done soon enough, there are many others who claim that the team is planning to start shooting directly without any Hungama.
Grapevine suggests that PK allotted a mere 20 days for this remake and his part is going to be completed during that time. Samuthirakani who made the original is expected to direct this remake as well. As we know, Sai Dharam Tej will be seen as the other lead and reports claim that he is going to have more screen time than Pawan in this movie. Trivikram Srinivas is expected to pen the dialogues for this project and Ketika Sharma is expected to play one of the female leads while the other one is yet to be decided.
Remakes are nothing new to Pawan Kalyan, His comeback film ‘Vakeel Saab’ was a remake and his last film ‘Bheemla Nayak’ was also taken from Malayalam super hit flick ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’. Many of Pawan’s movies including ‘Gokulamlo Seetha’, ‘Suswagatham’, Khushi’, ‘Thammudu’, ‘Annavaram’, ‘Teenmaar’, ‘Gabbar Singh’, ‘Kaatamrayudu’ were remakes.
