As the much-anticipated OG starring Pawan Kalyan gears up for its release the day after tomorrow, the actor’s team has confirmed that he is currently suffering from a viral fever. Despite falling ill, Pawan actively participated in the film’s pre-release events, even standing in the rain for nearly 30-40 minutes, which may have contributed to his condition.
Demonstrating his dedication, Pawan also traveled to Amaravati to attend Assembly sessions on Monday, attending meetings and conducting departmental reviews despite the fever.
A statement from his publicist read: “Deputy Chief Minister Sri Pawan Kalyan has been suffering from a viral fever for the past two days. Despite the illness, he attended Assembly meetings, held teleconferences with officials, and conducted important reviews. The severity of the fever increased from Monday night. Doctors have conducted tests, are providing treatment, and have advised rest.”
Meanwhile, advance ticket sales for OG are already underway, with fans eagerly awaiting the release. Directed by Sujeeth, the film is expected to achieve a record-breaking opening for the actor.
