Pawan Kalyan Clarifies Misquoted Statement on Terrorism and Islam

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has recently been very vocal and open about his views, especially on the topic of terrorism and its aftermath. This has become more evident as he has openly shared his thoughts on recent terror attacks and the subsequent developments.

In this context, a fake statement was widely circulated on social media by certain fake news accounts, falsely attributed to Pawan Kalyan.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan made a statement in which he said, “All the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack follow Islam, as they misused their power in the name of faith and community. However, it is important to note that many Kashmiri Muslims, also followers of Islam, were the ones who rescued the injured and helped the tourists.”

Unfortunately, this statement was misquoted and distorted by several social media outlets, making it appear as though Pawan Kalyan had generalized and labeled all Muslims as terrorists and was promoting hatred against Islam.

To address the misinformation, social media handles associated with the Janasena Party have begun sharing the original video clip, where Pawan Kalyan clearly distinguishes between extremist groups and the peaceful, law-abiding Muslim community.

It’s clear that the original message from Pawan Kalyan was misrepresented by some online handles, and his intent was never to spread hatred or misrepresent an entire community.
