The much-anticipated period action film Hari Hara Veeramallu has seen yet another delay, now eyeing a release on March 28, 2025. This prolonged schedule has caused unrest among fans, who are eagerly awaiting Pawan Kalyan’s return to the big screen. Compounding this concern is the stalled progress of OG, another major project featuring the star.
Recently, director Jyothi Krishna resumed shooting Veeramallu, focusing on scenes that do not require Pawan Kalyan’s presence. However, reports indicate that a few more days of patchwork with the actor’s availability could bring the project to completion. If everything proceeds according to plan, the film could hit theaters in late April or early May. However, any additional delays could push the release to July, further affecting the production schedules of Pawan Kalyan’s other projects.
A key factor complicating these timelines is the impossibility of shooting Hari Hara Veeramallu and OG simultaneously due to the actor’s distinct hairstyle for each film. Consequently, Veeramallu must be completed before work on OG can resume. Adding to the urgency, OG has reportedly secured a theatrical release deal with Netflix, with an agreed-upon rate for streaming rights. If the film’s release extends into 2026, the producer risks a financial setback due to a potential reduction in the agreed amount. Thus, the production team is prioritizing a 2025 release, with Christmas being the most viable option should they miss Dussehra or Diwali.
Amidst the uncertainty surrounding these two projects, Ustaad Bhagat Singh remains in a comparatively stable position. Director Harish Shankar, who is currently in discussions with Ram Pothineni and Nandamuri Balakrishna for a separate project, is reportedly ready to resume work on Bhagat Singh at Pawan Kalyan’s call. However, until the scheduling conflicts with Veeramallu and OG are resolved, Bhagat Singh is unlikely to make significant progress.
Industry insiders suggest that Pawan Kalyan is expected to make definitive decisions regarding his project commitments within this month. His final schedule allocation will determine the immediate future of these highly anticipated films, as fans and stakeholders keenly await further developments.
