Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh Still On: Producer Clarifies

As expected, Pawan Kalyan has significantly slowed down his film commitments after assuming office as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. With his packed schedule revolving around political responsibilities and governance, he has been unable to allocate sufficient time for movie shoots.

Amidst this, speculations have been rife about the possible shelving of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, his much-anticipated collaboration with Harish Shankar. The film had already commenced production, and the makers had even released a title teaser earlier. However, with a major portion of the shoot still pending, rumors suggested that completing the project might be a logistical challenge given Kalyan’s current commitments.

Putting these rumors to rest, Ravi Shankar, the producer from Mythri Movie Makers, issued an official statement. He affirmed that Harish Shankar has crafted an extraordinary script and that the team remains committed to the project, eagerly waiting for Kalyan’s availability.

“We are waiting for Kalyan Garu’s dates. We are determined to complete the shoot this year and release the film next year. A Pawan Kalyan film holds a buzz that surpasses even pan-India films, and this will be one of our most prestigious projects next year,” Ravi Shankar confirmed.

It is worth noting that Kalyan himself has previously mentioned that he would continue doing films as long as financial resources are needed. In that case, it may not be long before he resumes work on his pending projects like OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, and Ustaad Bhagat Singh under Mythri Movie Makers.
