Pawan wants to be CM: What will Chandrababu do now?

Is Pawan Kalyan a changed and more determined man? Is he not okay with playing a character artiste in Telugu politics? Is he willing to play the hero in politics? Is the Jana Sena chief now looking at becoming the power star in the political arena too? If one listens to his fiery speech at Pithapuram the other day, one would say that Pawan is now a changed man.

Speaking at Pithapuram during his Varahi yatra, Pawan Kalyan said that he wants to be the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. He asked the people to give him at least 40 percent of the assembly seats so that he could form the government. In an emotionally charged speech, he said “I am ready to become the chief minister. Will you make me the CM? I urge you. I call upon you. I enjoin you.”

Pawan further said: “Please give me the power and make me the chief minister. I will make the stae the Number1 state in the country.” Pawan looked like a changed man. In 2014 he did not even contest the polls and extended his support to Chandrababu Naidu. In 2019, he fought alone. But, the fight was never serious and Pawan himself lost from both the seats he contested.

This mood of Pawan Kalyan is sure to rankle Chandrababu Naidu, who is hoping that Pawan would be playing just the role of second fiddle to the TDP and help it to grab power. An assertive Pawan Kalyan means more seats for the Jana Sena. This is not exactly music to Chandrababu Naidu.
