Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan said that he wants to do so much for the special status of Andhra Pradesh but at the same time, he doesn’t want to incite violence or haste things.Speaking to media, Pawan said, ‘I don’t want to make any statements in haste which might incite adverse reactions from people. This is a sensitive issue and if we have to take one step, it must result in an ultimate solution’.
He added that it is the responsibility of the state and Central governments to abide by the promise of special status to AP. Pawan also opined that all the elected MPs and MLAs including of the opposition party must fight until they succeed in fetching special status to AP.
‘I don’t think that one single person like me can solve this issue when all the MPs and MLAs couldn’t. Both the Congress and BJP have promised special status to AP right in the parliament and it is their responsibility to stand by. The day they publicly deny it, I will think of implementing my next step,’ added the Jana Sena chief.
