Rumour has that Pawan Kalyan is charging nearly 30 crores per film and then some even claimed that he collected 40 crores for his latest movie Agnyaathavaasi. Going by the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, we have to say that these figures are a myth.
In the recent list released by Forbes Magazine, Pawan Kalyan stood at 69th spot with an income of 11.33 crores for the period between August 2016 and September 2017. Pawan has actually done films like Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu in this period. For the kind of tax slab he is into, if he earned 30 crores per each of those films, he would have earned 60 crores gross of which 20 crores go to Income Tax. Only if he has earned somewhere around 8 crores for each movie, then he would get 11+ crores income after IT deduction.
So how much is Pawan Kalyan collecting for a film? If the figures posted by Forbes are a fact, then we have to say he’s the cheapest Star Hero in the town. And if the rumours of 30-40 crores are true, then his true earnings are a mystery. One may also think that Pawan is collecting the money on other names, say his children and wife, and that will decrease his nett earning and worth.
