Before few minutes, Andhra Pradesh State Education minister Audimulapu Suresh said “the Andhra Pradesh government has decided not to conduct class 10 board exams in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
In the view of alarming raise of Corona cases, the Andhra Pradesh government has no other option left but to cancel the SSC examinations this year. Over six lakh students had registered for the AP SSC exams scheduled to be held from July 10 to 15, 2020. However, the exam has now been canceled in view of the pandemic.
Now, the Janasena party is considering this as their win over the ruling YSRCP as it is Pawan Kalyan who raised this topic but no one else after an astonishing announcement made by the state education minister in the past. Pawan demanded Jagan not to conduct exams in the wake of pandemic and asked him whether he is playing games with the lives of children.
The Janasena supremo brought out the logic asking why can’t the AP government cancel the SSC examinations if the crucial budget sessions are restricted to 2 days. It is known that previously, the AP government said that they will conduct the SSC examinations at any cost after the Telangana government canceled the 10th exams in their state. But now, they have changed their mind. This is such a good victory for the Janasena and a classic example for – ‘raise in voice pays in the result.’
