In addition to accusations and sexual abuse case against Anurag Kashyap, actor Payal Gosh landed in a double trouble as Richa Chadha sued her for defamation for taking her name. Earlier, she also hit out at Richa’s lawyer Saveena Bedi for trolling her. She labelled it as ‘modus operandi of the Kashyap gang’ and called it a ‘contempt of court.’
Needless to say, the case has already been settled, Payal Ghosh has now claims that Richa Chadha and her actor-boyfriend Ali Fazal have been maligning her image and ‘using her name for publicity.’ She also took a jibe at both, hoping they quit shelling out money on such things and use it for ore positive purpose.
Although the advocate representing Payal assured no more tweets will be done from their client, Payal Ghosh still reacted to the tweet and asserted that the duo were ‘still trying to hog the limelight’ and publicity on her name. Payal also wrote that she ‘didn’t give nor will give a damn’ to them.
Payal Ghosh had accused Kashyap of coercing sexually. Subsequently the filmmaker was booked on charges of rape. However, the case came to a standstill.
Of late Payal Ghosh joined Union minister Ramdas Athawale’s Republican Party of India, where he has been assigned as a vice-president of the party’s women wing.
