Maverick director SS Rajamouli is banking high on the super success of magnum opus RRR. The Pan-India film not only enjoyed global success but also won a few prestigious awards. RRR added a few feathers to its illustrious cap in the form of awards like the Golden Globe and Oscars. Naatu Naatu became the first Asian song to win Oscars.
His family has been a strong supporter of Rajamouli and they are with him even in the workspace. His wife Rama Rajamouli is a costume designer, his son Kartheekeya assists him and worked as the first AD during Baahubali and he is the main force behind the Oscars campaign of RRR.
In what could be a rare picture, SS Rajamouli posed with his family. Cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar hosted a big party for the team. Rajamouli attended the party as he was the captain of the ship of the film. The director graced the party along with his family and posed for a picture.
Everyone knows Rajamouli has a daughter and a son. But very rarely do we see pictures of Rajamouli’s daughter. Thanks to the party thrown by KK Senthil Kumar, Rajamouli’s family posed for a beautiful picture which is doing rounds on social media now.
The picture shows Rajamouli posing for a perfect family picture along with his better half Rama, daughter Mayookha, son Kartheekeya and his wife Pooja Prasad. Pooja Prasad is the granddaughter of veteran Tollywood producer VB Rajendra Prasad and the niece of Jagapathi Babu.
On many occasions, Rajamouli spoke about the support his family gives to him and how the family members play a key role in his success. When RRR’ bagged ‘Best Song’ for the track ‘Naatu Naatu’ and ‘Best Foreign Film’ at the Critics Choice Awards, Rajamouli credited women in his life that shaped him.
On the work front, SS Rajamouli will work with Superstar Mahesh Babu for his next project. Rajamouli said that the film will explore the jungle adventure genre. The film is in the writing stage and the upcoming film is carrying high expectations. The film marks the first collaboration of Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu.
