The ongoing investor summit in Visakhapatnam is emerging as a major success, with leading global companies confirming substantial investments in Andhra Pradesh. Amid this positive momentum, Union Minister Piyush Goyal introduced a noteworthy proposal that highlights the spirit and identity of the state.

While addressing VIPs and special invitees at the summit last evening, Piyush Goyal emphasized the need to establish a dedicated Andhra Mandapam to host large-scale summits and business conclaves.

Directly addressing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Union Minister stated, “Andhra deserves an Andhra Mandapam to celebrate its entrepreneurial spirit. The Indian Trade Promotion Authority is keen to conceptualize and execute a world-class conclave center in the state.”

Goyal added that a permanent, purpose-built venue would significantly enhance the efficiency and scale of such events. “Once we have the Andhra Mandapam, there will be no need to rely on temporary structures for occasions of this importance,” he noted.

Throughout the interaction, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu appeared highly receptive to the proposal, even taking notes as the minister spoke. The exchange reflected a strong sense of mutual respect, with Goyal praising Naidu’s proactive leadership and expressing his willingness to work closely with him in the future.
