On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 216-foot tall ‘Statue of Equality’ in Hyderabad, honouring the 11th-century Hindu saint Ramanujacharya. He was invited as the Chief Guest for this event, where he addressed the gathering, and also the people of the nation.

The Prime Minister said that Telugu cinema has gone to such a level where the world’s audiences are watching Telugu movies intently and arduously.
He said that TFI is ruling both on the big screen and on the small screen as well. Modi spoke about the kind of impact the Baahubali franchise created and even said that the entire world is currently awaiting the release of films such as RRR and Radhe Shyam.
