A video and pictures of police vehicles parked outside Aamir Khan’s residence in Bandra have created a huge buzz on social media. Around 25 IPS officers were spotted visiting the actor’s home, sparking speculation about whether it was a serious matter or just a courtesy visit.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding the reason for their visit. Some reports suggest that the officers met Aamir, but even his team has stated that they are unaware of the exact purpose and are trying to gather details. The unexpected visit has left fans curious and puzzled.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is also in the news for a much more celebratory reason. He has been invited as the Chief Guest at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025, scheduled to take place from August 14 to 24. The festival will honour his contribution to cinema, particularly his recent film Sitaare Zameen Par, which grossed around ₹165 crore at the Indian box office. Directed by RS Prasanna, the movie featured Genelia D’Souza alongside Aamir.
Looking ahead, Aamir Khan will be seen in a biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani, based on the life of Dadasaheb Phalke, regarded as the father of Indian cinema.
