Taking the incident of firing on Aurobindo Pharma vice-chairman K Nityananda Reddy seriously, police nabbed the shooter behind it in a record time. In a startling revelation, the shooter happens to be an Armed Reserve constable, Obulesh, and was arrested by the police at border near Kurnool as he boarded a Bangalore bound bus.
Along with three others, the shooter is likely to be produced before media by afternoon today. Hyderabad city just panicked as a high profile businessman was attacked with an AK-47 assault rifle the other day at around 7.15 am, as Nitaynanda Reddy finished his jogging and sneaked into his Audi car. The miscreant has opened fire, though unknown whether it is to kidnap Reddy or kill him, but flleed the scene as his attempts failed.
After collecting all the clues, police have finally found last night that the assailant was an ex-Grey Hounds’ jawan. The AK-47 involved in the incident belongs to elite anti-Maoist force Greyhounds and was reportedly missing from a year. That led to suspicion that someone from the police force is involved with the attacks.
