Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, continues to create history at the box office with back-to-back milestones. Already crowned as the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, the Bollywood spy action thriller has now added another remarkable achievement to its name.

According to the latest data, Dhurandhar has recorded an impressive 3.5 crore footfalls during its 53-day theatrical run, making it the second-highest footfall-grossing film of the post-COVID era. What makes this feat even more noteworthy is that the film achieved these staggering numbers despite being released only across the Hindi belt, without the advantage of a pan-India multilingual release.

In the process, Dhurandhar has emerged as the most-watched Bollywood film of 2025, comfortably surpassing Chhaava, which registered around 3 crore footfalls. With this achievement, the film has firmly placed itself among the elite post-pandemic Hindi cinema blockbusters, joining the likes of Gadar 2, Jawan, and Stree 2.

However, the top spot in terms of post-COVID footfalls continues to be held by Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2, which amassed an extraordinary 3.7 crore footfalls during its lifetime run. With Dhurandhar nearing the end of its theatrical journey, surpassing Pushpa 2 now seems unlikely.

Nevertheless, Dhurandhar’s phenomenal performance has far exceeded expectations and cemented its place as one of the biggest box-office phenomena of the post-COVID era, reaffirming the enduring power of strong content backed by mass appeal.
