Celebrations hit Nandyal and Allagadda regions in Andhra Pradesh with newlywed couple Manchu Manoj Kumar and Bhuma Mounika Reddy visiting the hometown of the Bhuma family. They received a grand welcome there as people gathered in big numbers to see the couple. Manoj and Mounika made a grand visit.
Their first visit raised many eyeballs and also started a debate about the possible entry of Manoj. However, he made it clear that he has no intention of venturing into politics and that he will support Bhuma Mounika Reddy if she is interested.
Now reports are abuzz that Bhuma Mounika Reddy is considered by the parties in the state and the parties are showing interest to give her a ticket. As the parties in the state took the elections seriously and wants to win the polls at any cost anything is possible.
Politics are not new to Mounika Reddy. She hails from a Political family. Her father Bhuma Nagi Reddy is a famous leader in the region and people still remember him for the work he had done for the region.
The Bhuma family enjoys a good image and popularity in Allagadda and other regions. Mounika also worked hard for her sister Akhila Priya when she contested the elections. So the people in the region are familiar with Mounika Reddy.
It is said that the ruling party and opposition party are in plan to encash the good image of Bhuma Nagi Reddy by giving a ticket to Mounika Reddy. If this happens then we should see another scion venturing into traditional politics.
Mounika Reddy reportedly has an interest in politics and wants to take the path her father traveled. However, there is no clarity on which party she would opt for if she wants to join active politics.
Seeing the issue from the political party’s point of view, the Bhuma family has been with the Telugu Desam Party. He served as the MLA and MP from the party. Though he joined Praja Rajyam Party and YSRCP, Bhuma Nagi Reddy returned to the party. TDP even made his elder daughter Akhila Priya a Cabinet Minister. Now TDP is eyeing Mounika Reddy allegedly.
On the other hand, the ruling YCP is also interested in giving Mounika Reddy a ticket as per the reports. The leadership might allot the serving MLA another post if Mounika accepts the offer. With this, the YCP also wants to pacify Mohan Babu.
